Bug fights are nasty. It's a wonder the tarantula only lost two legs and a few eyes though; I'd expect the scorpion to sting it and eat it's face off.

On second thoughts though, tarantulas can do a fair bit of damage, did the scorpion get hurt?

Have had cats, dogs, a rat and fish.

Rat was saved from Noel (our neighbourhood emperor cat, same shit; cats, dogs, racoons, anything that pissed him off he would fight. Abscesses ain't fun to deal with.). Very young and well handled was one of the tamest rats I ever met.

Just met some new people; one has a bearded lizard and an albino king, the other few have all snakes: Kings, corns, and two or three ball pythons between them all. Watched the albino king take a dead rat pup, and then fed it the second pup last night.

My rabbit scared a bull cat the size of a small Labrador out of my garden once just by hopping up to it. I wish I could say he was a fearless badass but he was just clueless, naive and stupid. Brave though.
