Ship: The Deadman's Tale, originally a 30 gun French Frigate, the nearly black ship has been outfitted with nearly 60 guns, and decorated with numerous skulls along the railings, often with torches inside at night, giving the entire ship an unearthly glow. The figurehead is a skeletal sea serpent with a gaping Maw, that stretches the entire length of the keel. A small cannon has been fitted inside the head, so that it can shoot fire pots.

Bio:not much is known about Calyspo, except that she took over command from her late husband who its widely believed died by her hand. Though speculations abound about her origins, Her accent gives away that she's Irish. The most persistant rumor to this day as that her father is Davy Jones himself, a rumor she has no intention of correcting.

Personality: One day,is one of the most ruthless, bloodthirstiest pirates to ever sail the seas, the next the kindest, gentlest woman youve ever met. Stay on her good side best ye can, and try to avoid the moodswings.

Special powers: the ability to cause fear, deep in the hearts of even the most hardened sea dogs, the very sight of her ship on the horizon has driven some of the bravest men to tears, pants wetting terror, or even suicide.

Weapons: A custom made cutlass, extremely sharp, lightweight, and well balanced, used to be part of a matched set, but its mate was lost in the battle, that cost Calypso her arm. She will stop at nothing to reunite her swords, and kill the man who took it. She also carries a monogrammed Flintlock bearing the initials DJ.

Would it be cool if I applied for a naval officer to serve as an antagonist? Figure with pirates running wild, there would need be some sort of authority figure on the seas.

I said nothing about naval officers because there is already a gang bent on extermination of pirates. They will build the main conflict. But I guess you could be a part time naval officer on the Dragon Breath crew and only get involved when citizens are harmed. If its alright with you that that is the only way the navy gets involved.
