Liberty City, USA. To most of the world its a symbol of America's wealth and power, but down here, on the streets, its a whole 'nother world. This is the chronicles of a street gang with aspirations of the wealth and power their city represents, and the struggles they face trying to make it.

Criminal Record: First misdemeanor at age 14. First incarceration at age 16. Latest incarceration at age 33
Bio: Oldest brother of the McManus family. Became the breadwinner after their father's death 12 years previously. Michael is respected among the street gangs in the neighbourhood and has a reputation as the man you do not want to fuck with.
STATUS: Currently incarcerated

Name: Lucas McManus
Appearance:
Age: 29
Criminal Record: Known links to several organized crime rings in San Andreas, also suspected to have worked with a mafia family in Liberty City. Armed Robbery and Murder in the First Degree.
Bio: Lucas moved to San Andrea a few years ago "on buisiness". He wound up working with a group of professional thiefs, usually as a getaway driver, although he occasionally took part in the act itself. On one of these occurances, he was forced to kill a man who tried to be a hero. The bullet was traced back to Lucas and, although he was ashamed to do it, he sold out all of the others, minus the leader, in exchange for a lighter sentence. He was rewarded by this man, once he finished his sentence and was prepared to re-join him for another couple of scores when he got word that his mother had passed. Lucas had no other choice but to decline the offer and catch a flight home.

Bio: Desmond is the late Anne McManus' nephew. She and her family formally adopted him after his family problems came to light (abusive father and alcoholic mother). Despite being raised surrounded by crime, Des managed to stay on the straight and narrow path.

Name: Jonathan McManus

Age: 27
Criminal Record: 1 prior conviction- Assault and Manslaughter charges.
Bio: Jonathan, like most of his brothers, got involved in criminal activity from a young age, mostly petty crimes like vandalism and shoplifting. As he got older, Jon became involved in more high-profile crimes, usually armed robberies organized by his brothers. He is also a participant in an underground fighting circuit. After one fight in particular, a promoter refused to pay him a bonus that was promised, which led to a physical confrontation during which he knocked out five men and beat the promoter to death.

Name: Sean Murphy

Bio: Sean and his brother Patrick grew up in the same neighbourhood as the McManus's. Unlike his brother, Sean was born in Liberty City, and so, has only a trace of an Irish accent. He has contacts in the mafia and is also associated with street gangs in the area who are usually willing to work with him.

Name: Patrick Murphy

Criminal Record: Armed Robbery, Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Arson
Bio: Patrick's family emigrated from Ireland when he was 8. The young Patrick suddenly found himself in unfamiliar surroundings with unfamiliar people. Patrick met Michael McManus and the two of them became fast friends, close as brothers and they remain so to this day.

Name: Kevin "Slick" Finster

Bio: "Fence" the McManus' have worked for in the past.

I'm hoping to sign up as the Yakzua Lord of Torrington, but was wondering if you would accept anime pictures of this totally hot guy (dig da tats!). And this is his motorbike. And a video. He can be working for this guy.

And would I be able to submit an experimental character? As in she will be just a civilian (naive and shy). She is a fan of mafia movies though and thus decides to blog the things she sees. Not like a news reporter, but just one of those fans who are fascinated by the whole shebang. A bit like how one would write 'Dear Diary...'' entries.

That all sounds alright, save for one small thing, which I completely forgot to mention- I intended for this to be the GTA 4 version of Liberty City, which is basically real-life NYC with different names. I completely blanked out on the GTA3/LCS version of L.C. my bad! If you still want to go ahead with this idea, the 'Torrington' equivalent in GTA4 would be a neighbourhood of Downtown Algonquin called The Exchange. Name: Toji

Criminal Record: None. He gets Hiroaki and the other Yakuza members to do his bidding. But if you had to put him in a category, it would be protection rackets and arms smuggling. He also 'owns' several hostess and host clubs.
Bio: Toji was born into a strong Yakuza family and has taken control of his father's turf after his father fell ill and passed away. He had alwys been at his father's side and has also taken on the sly and dangerous personality. He finds that he doesn't have a need for women becaus to him they are nothing but a bother. He is also on the board of directors of several companies, but that is more for money laundering. The other board members know that as well, but it is more like they have to live wiht a Yakuza member in their circle. They don't have a choice. Toji can be quite sadistic at times, though he rarely ever shows it.


Name: Hiroaki

Age: 36
Criminal Record: Brutally bashing people, threatening people, setting stores on fire, running illegal battle cages, creating 10 car pileups, blackmail, extortion, vandalism, ransom - you name it, he's got it.

Bio: Hiroaki does all the dirty work for Toji in return for large sums of money and his own motorbike dealership. he's a wild man full of guts and is incredibly loyal to Toji. His favourite weapons is a simple baseball bat, though he does understand that guns are much more efficient at getting the job done. But baseball bats are still fun.

Name: Joe McManus


Appearance:

Age: thirty two

Criminal Record: Has been arrested for Robbery and Grand Theft Auto. But has stolen over 50 vehicles, selling them to costumers that don't ask questions. He also is involved in some organized crime with either friends he trust or his brothers on occasion, doing larger robberies.

Bio: Joe McManus Grew up in Dukes in Liberty City along side his brothers. Even when he was young he was surrounded with crime, it wasn't too long before he was doing petty thief stealing a few small items from stores every now and then. Eventually stealing became second nature to him almost every day he was stealing more and more moving up to bigger and bigger things. He eventually arose to his first car. It took some time at first to pick the lock but soon he learnt the proper techniques for lock picking, eventually he was able to pick even the hardest locks in twenty seconds. His record was seven in a half seconds. Joe got careless one night and ended up getting caught stealing a car near an unmarked police car, he ended up getting charged with Grand Theft Auto and Robbery which he was identified as the same person by security cameras. He got sent to jail for about a year the same jail as his brother, it was good to see him again but it wasn't the most ideal situation. one year later Joe was released leaving his brother behind, he still had a few years left to serve. He quickly got back into his style, stealing cars, food, and whatever else wasn't tied down. Eventually he made enough money to buy out his favorite bar and the apartment above it which is where he is currently living.

Alright dude, if you need an idea on a type of character, we're going to need a few memebers of the McManus gang, not actual brothers like mine and Mummer's characters, but people who live nearby or are friends with them. That goes for anyone else signing up to, althouth if you all want to do your own thing thats fine too!
