Persona: Long before the two packs formed as one, Hound led the Faro as Alpha against the Neala for territory and control of the hunting grounds. Among the ferocious Faro, Hound stood out neither for his prowess nor leadership but for his cold, calculated savagery. Slaughter was expected of every young Faro seeking to prove themselves, secrets raids on the Neala's home to eradicate their offspring and thus their next generation of fighters.
Not much is known of Hound's life before joining the Faro, just that he grew impatient with the previous Alpha's lack of a substantial foothold in the Neala's hunting grounds. Too long did Faro suffer while Neala grow fat and happy. Eventually, slaying the former Alpha, his first act was to rename himself simply 'Hound', stating that personal glory was nil compared to that of the pack.
Rather than be subservient to the Neala Alpha, Hound gathered a small number of unproven Faro and pups and staked his claim some distance from the Traitors' camp. A posh tone and civilized demeanour belie a fanatical affection for those he deems worthy, his old age only amplifying this fact as Hound seeks a successor to lead the True Faro.
Summarizing Quote: "How quick my brothers and sisters let die the name of Faro for their own safety. Let those still true to their blood join me once again and the rest suffer alongside their Neala kin."
