    Doctor Who stuff.

You know, I really didn’t think I’d get used to Tennant as the new Doctor, but he’s really starting to grow on me. He’s got to be my favorite so far; I really don’t think Matt Smith is going to change that. As for Martha… I think Rose has her beat.

I also wanted to know which specials are worth watching, if any.

Yeah, Matt Smith is horrible compared to Tennant. I watched the first season of Smith and was like

Interesting. I don’t think he could be so bad that I’d just stop watching the show entirely. It may be a different actor, but he’s still the Doctor.

It is still the Doctor but... I don't even know how to explain it. He just felt so weak. He wasn't horrible, but I didn't like him. I guess it was also my fault for constantly comparing him to Tennant and Eccelston, but it felt like there was nothing there. The highlights had to be Amy and Rory though.

Tennant suffers from Davies's poor writing, while Smith benefits from the strength of Moffat's. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

Amy and Rory beats Rose. Rose was davies wank off object and not that strong of an actor yet got insane amount of focus dedicated to her. I didnt care for rose and got PISSED at the extent davies went to when tried to give her evertything ever. Martha had the potential to be great, but I felt davies gave not a single fuck about her. Donna was fantastic due to being the kind of companion who had SASS, and who really matched the Doctors personality instead of acting like a obsessed fangirl (see; Rose.)

Smits a great Doctor is that he is a ambivalent monster. He acts happy and quirkier then both Tennant and Christopher but he trows tantrums like a child. And that is terryfing if you consider the power he represesents. That and he is a vengefull S.O.B who throws his rep around like a bludgeo and acts a tad more selfish then Tennant.

Tennants a great doctor in that he was a more collected (albeit typically quirky) Doctor who slowly began to properly assimilate the information and figure out who and what he was. He suffered from Davids something fierce.

Christopher was the War vet. Had they kept him I am sure he would have been a great, albeit depressing Doctor.

made by the ever charming and talented Lillian Thorne.

Ah, I had thought that they were written by the same two guys, albiet mixed up with others every now and again. I didn't realize that each of the doctor's had a... distinct (?) writer to them.

They don't, actually. It's just that Moffat's took over the position of lead writer and showrunner between seasons four and five, when Matt Smith began his stint as the Doctor.
