Nicholas could feel his brain spinning from the class. Chemistry obviously wasn't his strongest subject. Lucky for him, the bell rang and snapped him awake. Before he had any time to react, Echo had already bolted out of the room. As he stood up, he gave a quick peace sign to Destiny, "Have fun in your next class."

Once he had wandered out of the room, Nick took a look at his schedule. English was next for him. That should be somewhat easier for him, after all he already spoke the language. That's what English class was all about right? He walked at a brisk pace down the hall to his next class.

Upon entering the classroom, he had found that he had managed to be the first student in the room. How did this keep happening to him? If he was going to be showing up first to all his classes, people were going to think he was a nerd or something. "Well I guess that I should get a drink," Nick dropped his bag in a chair in the middle of the bag and went into the hall. There was a water fountain somewhere around here. Remembering the general direction of it, he wandered to where it was.

Sitting in her favorite spot within the highest tree out back it took Ivy'Rose only five or so minutes to down her entire plate of food, an after using a vine from her dress to throw her tray into a trash can several yards away Ivy would lay back on the tree branch she was sitting on and stare up at the morning sky. Within only moments she'd dose off.......

"Gosh this breeze....it's so cool." Ivy'Rose would groggily whisper to herself as she opened her eyes. It took just a second or two for her to realize she had fallen asleep.
"Oh no! What time is it!" she'd yell out as she quickly sat up and began to dig through her messenger bag for her phone - which had the time.
After reading it she nearly fell out the tree as she went to stand up. "I missed first period! I actually missed first period! I can't believe I dosed off like that, you've got to be kidding me!!"

Ivy would beat herself up the entire way down the tree and all through the halls as she ran to her second period class, which according to the schedule she had copied down on her hand with permanent marker, was Math.

As she noticed the numbers on the other classroom doors getting close to her Math classes room number Ivy'Rose went from running to walking at a slow and steady pace, the color of skin though still remained a light green from the frantic state she had worked herself up into.
Her mind couldn't help but wander back to the girl named Echo - her new roommate, who she had left hanging in a sense.
"Some escort I am.....I just hope she found her first period class okay. I guess I'll find out later when she-" Ivys thoughts would come to halt when she walked into her 2nd period classroom, and there stood Echo.
"Oh boy am I glad to see you!" she let out as she walked in the door, before taking a deep breath followed by a gulp. "I mean, I'm glad to see I'm not the last one here, and that you found your way about. Sorry about earlier, I fell asleep up in that tree I told you about earlier."
Ivy would walk towards a seat directly against the wall of floor-length windows and throw her messenger bag on top the desk in front of it. "Guess I was more tired than I thought. So, how are you liking Bedlam so far? Meet any freaks worthy of your time?" she'd joke, before flopping down in her seat.

Echo had been exploring her math book, looking just as confused as she did in chemistry. Finally she closed it and began doodling and scribbling on a piece of notebook paper, when she heard Ivy speaking. She looked up excitedly and when the girl took her seat, Echo ran over to give her a hug and moved her things to the seat next to hers before sitting down.

"Ivy'Rose! I'm so glad you're in my class! Oh I'm having a lovely time so far. I wish we had eaten breakfast together, though! But it's alright. My first class was Chemistry.. so confusing! But I made TWO new friends! We're supposed to hang out after classes." Echo gasped suddenly. "YOU SHOULD COME HANG OUT WITH US! Please?!"

Echo looked at the girl hopefully. So far she had met 3 new people that seemed so friendly, plus an odd little creature that seemed to get a kick out of pulling her hair. And one of the friendly ones was her own room mate. It would be just perfect if they could all hang out together. And there was nearly an entire day left of classes to meet more people.
"I wanna love you but I can't let go." <3 Bad Books

Desireé stayed in her seat as the other students filed out. They all moved the same way- none too desperate to leave but eager for the next class. Des was in no hurry- she had to talk to the teacher here, and history was not really her forté. Her eyes-having fallen to a dark shade of boredom-watched Alice and her conversation. She was only about two yards away, so she could hear it perfectly. Nothing too out-of-the-ordinary, just another special kid trying to pretend she was normal. As if they didn't all know her IQ was larger than all the teacher's IQ's added and multiplied by ten. But it wasn't like anyone would ever dare to say a thing to her. Not when they were all trying to do the exact same thing. And Des wasn't about to call her out either- it wasn't a big deal, it was her choice if she wanted to learn new things or not...and, of course, with Alice in her class she had someone to teach her everything she missed when she skipped or was too busy glaring daggers at the teacher, sleeping, and staring at the clock.

The room almost empty now, she went up to the desk and held out her hand. She received her detention slip and started to leave. Hearing her name, she stopped short but didn't turn. "What?" she asked sharply. A pause. From behind her, an exasperated whisper told her, "Nevermind." Throwing the door open, she stomped out. The morning was bad enough without her time being wasted. And now she got to go to History, and pray they would not be continuing the discussion on vampires. It was bad enough most of the kids knew the name of the guy who turned her, they didn't need to learn about where he came from and how he was one of the first ones of his kind. Not to mention all the 'plagues' and serial killings that were the fault of her kind...AND she was the only vampire in that class...It was just so awkward and embarrassing. It was about the only thing that was awkward and embarrassing for her, too. It just all around sucked. She could skip, of course. But she was sure the teacher would wait until she did show up to continue the discussion, so it was better sooner than later.

Reaching the room before the bell she slipped in and to the back, shadowed corner. Desireé slid down in one of the desks, her hand over her eyes and a prayer to go unnoticed on her lips.

Orren got his history book and headed off to class. He saw a few other students he knew and gave them a smile and a wave as walked towards his next class. Most of Orren's friends were his fellow sea dwellers, as they had something in common from the start. He'd made a decent amount of acquaintances during his time at the school, however. As he walked into the history class, a few familiar faces caught his eyes. He nodded to them with a quick smile before plopping down in a middle row.

Orren hadn't notice, however, the vampire chick sulking in the back. If he had, he might have felt a little bad for her. Sure, she kind of scared him, but he didn't want to be an asshole.

Alice let Des be alone with herself. She knew Des wanted to be alone. Her body language seemed to be saying so anyway. Alice looked over to Orren who suprisingly was sitting right next to her once she turned her attention away from Des. "Oh hey Orren, I guess we have two classes together. So uhm I guess whats up" Alice asked shrugging slightly. No one was in the room accept the three so why not start a conversation. Des obviously wasn't in the mood ,so Orren seemed be a great person to talk to. She wanted to become friends with him anyway.

    Need a clue?

"Ivy'Rose! I'm so glad you're in my class! Oh I'm having a lovely time so far. I wish we had eaten breakfast together, though! But it's alright. My first class was Chemistry.. so confusing! But I made TWO new friends! We're supposed to hang out after classes." Echo would let out in a flurry of excitement - causing Ivy to smile softly, but before she could respond Echo would again speak. "YOU SHOULD COME HANG OUT WITH US! Please?!"
At this point Ivy'Rose couldn't help but chuckle at the girls excitement. "You're quite the hyper one aren't ya? No worries though, I think it's cute, and sure I'll come with you....if you don't think your new friends would mind."

As soon as she ended her response to Echo in walked the teacher, and within only a couple of minutes the room would be full as the second period bell went off.
Math was an extremely easy core subject for her, so when Mrs. Parker* mentioned todays class would be spent taking a hefty quiz to asset what level everyone was at, Ivy didn't really care.

"Hopefully this won't be like last year, and we won't have to spend half the year reviewing the previous years coursework. Now-"
Ivy would giggle to herself as her teacher continued on for a few more minutes, before finally handing out the quiz....which she knew she'd finish in record time.

*I'm not sure if a name had been established for the Math teacher in the OOC, but it's so massive that I just assumed there wasn't a name made. If there is however, ignore my "Mrs. Parker" =P
