[Legend of Zelda] The People's Army OOC

Okay so here’s the idea, Link has been missing for half a year now and with more monsters appearing, mercenary groups are forming to run errands between towns and generally kill the monsters. Many have given up pondering the whereabouts of the great hero and instead believe him to have been slain in battle. Some Hylians have been developing their skills to attempt to replace the hero or make do until his possible return but no one dares to search for him. Magic users have been showing themselves although as they lack the natural skill of full blown wizards they have to work harder and shape the magic to achieve the right spells. It will be set in roughly the Twilight Princess version of Hyrule where a new mercenary group is forming in Telma’s Bar with some very interesting members (us). Characters and/or items from other storylines are allowed within reason. I will hope to include just about all the races (I myself will be a Zoran) so feel free to go with whatever so long as you can weave it in somehow. CS will be added soon.

Race: Kokiri

Appearance: Looks like your standard Kokiri, just a little taller with pitch black hair and slate gray eyes.

Bio: He grew up as one of Link's childhood friends. The two would always run around together, and secretly competed for Saria's affections (Brutus will unashamedly admit that Link probably won that). When Link left, monsters began to start showing up after the death of the Great Deku Tree. Brutus then began to train himself in archery, eventually leaving Kokiri Village himself. While out on his journey, he heard of Link's disappearance, and decided to help in any way he could. He wishes to find Link, but knows that he can't do it alone.

Equipment: He has a bow made of refined, specially treated ash. The wood is sturdier than the standard bow and is able to be used as a blunt club when there are no arrows to be shot. The bow is also able of being underwater for long periods of time. His arrows are specially made by himself, and have twisted heads, making them accurate and surprisingly effective underwater. He also carries as short sword and a long knife, but is not very adept at using them, hoping to get better, but prefers ranged combat with his bow and arrows. He also has inherited the Kokiri Ocarina, and keeps it as a valued treasure of his dear friend Link.

Strengths: Brutus is a peerless marksman, to the point that he is starting to become famous for his accuracy. Out of the thousands of targets he has set his sights on, he has only missed fewer than 30. Brutus is also very agile with a good sense of balance, capable of advanced acrobatic manuevers, and can even run along fences or narrow ledges. His sense of timing is impeccable as well, as he can easily jump from surface to surface with a minimal amount of akwardness.

Weaknesses: Brutus is a little aloof at times. He can also be stubborn and hard headed. His stamina is lower than normal as well, but he is working on increasing that.

OOC: I realize that I have overstepped the game play line of Zelda in this Bio but I have played Zelda for a long long time and I have been dieing to play a character such as this. If you decline it then that's cool but my reasoning for this Bio is because I love Ganondorf and I really wanted to play a character that was sort of the opposite of him, but still conflicted because of him. Anyways if you have any questions feel free to PM happy reading.

Bio:
Ganondrake is the official blood line heir to Ganondorf the evil Gerudo King. Unknown to most, back when destiny was being formed, when Ganondorf was first born the mother of that child gave birth to twins. Ganondorf was born only mere minutes before his twin brother Ganondorn. From a young age the brothers were resentful towards each other, hating each other, like all Gerudo a time would come when a Gerudo King would take his place at the top of the Gerudo. But this alone was conflicted in reality for there were two brothers one who desired peace for his people and the other who was filled with discontent and power hungry. After a rather large dispute as is always the case, greed over came the peace. Ganondorf was proclaimed the Gerudo King and in doing he banished his brother to the desert where he would stay until he died. As events unfolded and the showdown between Link an his brother, Ganondorn who had taken refuge for several years in the Desert Temple returned to his people to take the throne an to find a peace with his people. After his brother was defeated and sealed in the endless void, things were reverse and Ganondorn became the Gerudo King. In the years to come Ganondorn took a wife and in doing so he had a son named Ganondrake who in turn became the next King of Gerudo.

Ganondrake is the current King of the Gerudo, and in turn is well aware of the evil that has begun to wash across the world once again. Knowing his Fathers story and his Uncle he has sought to form a peace with the many races of Hyrule including the Zora, the Hylians, the Gorons, and the Kokiri. But in these times the young son of the late Ganondorn who's life was taken by the desert, knows that peace or no peace and ancient evil is washing the lands and causing destruction. The young Gerudo King has taken up arms, and travels to join the alliance to help vanquish evil and return the land to peace for his race and the others caught in the gamble.

Equipment:

Ganondrake carries a long sword that has long since the beginning of the Gerudo, been passed down from line to line. It is the sword of Kings claimed back after the battle between Link and Ganondorf in the castle tower.

Ganondrake also wears the armor of the Kings newly forged by the Gerudo black smiths. It is a special armor that is enchanted and imbued with the power of his people. The armor is black in look and embroidered with gold of white and red jewels.


Strengths:
Like many of his line Ganondrake was born with the powers of his ancestors like his father before him and his uncle. Like most young Gerudo males he was taught from a young age to harness this power. Ganondrake is what would be consider a warrior mage for in his training he also was trained to hold and use the sword of kings in battle. The training being grueling and much of it spent toughening the young Gerudo male to be King with even hand to hand combat, Ganondrake is quite strong and very stout. Being of a taller sort his is rather intimidating to some and his appearance being very much like his Uncles any who remember his Uncle mistake him for him.

Weaknesses:
If Ganondrake had any weakness it would be the fact that he refuses to take the life of another unless there is no other choice. Ganondrake knows of the line he came from and how evil his Uncle was, an he fears becoming like Ganondorf. Ganondrake is also weak when it comes to his people, to the point where those who are his enemies could use it against him, he would die for his people a well known fact. Ganondrake is also prone to act of anger, he is pretty much a patient man but he can not stand when people or anyone condemns him for his Uncles mistake or his people. He is very short fuse when it comes to this and he can be pushed over the edge rather easy and will make mistakes.
