The world of Krene is populated by many. It has Centaurs, Forest Elves, Snow Elves, Dwarves, Grey Elves, Lycans, Goblins, Humans, and Demons. There are many different nations with various cultures so intricately woven in their own details. The technology of each continent, and the advancement of each race of people are quite different as well. This world is a highly rich fantasy world with steam punk, to air ships, to vampires and , multiple gods and goddesses that are directly involved in the lives of their people, and so much more. To summarize this world into a few sentences would be impossible, but the major focus of the story idea I am presenting to you would be surrounding the demons.
The demons live in a large island nation that would logically be about the size of Australia called Inferikhane Kumarzione. The demons are under rule by the son of Satan himself, who is the "Dark Lord," or also known as the "Father of Darkness and Chaos" in the world of Krene, Sama 'El. Sama 'El has three Warlord generals that preside over different nations within their large demon continent, and each of them watch over the various sub-races that populate the demon island as a whole. Each of the different sub-races represent one of the seven deadly sins. There is a hierarchy in these races, which, the power of those who are at the top of the list supercede those who are ranked at the bottom. The races of demons in explanation in itself would be left vague, however, because it gives more room for the partner I am looking for to be able to craft their own demon into the world of Inferikhane.
One of the nations within Inferikhane Kumarzione is a dark forest that never hits sunlight whatsoever. It's dead, nothing ever grows, and there never any leaves on the trees. The forest is ruled by the Warlord Endrenalmuss, and he is a master of Illusion magic. An ancient legend about this forest is said that there is a strong curse over the lands which causes the nightmares of the those who enter to play out on the world around them. The forest is packed with different races of demons, and the reason it is so populated despite being a mental torment site is because of rumors about a blade called Dragon's Breath. It is said that Dragon's Breath holds the power to change the lands, to make them beautiful again, and to break the curse. It is said that the sword, Dragon's Breath, was crafted out of lava from one of the three large ever flowing volcanoes in the middle royal city of Dulanca, Inferikhane Kumarzione, by the best demon blacksmith in the entire continent. It was given as a gift to Lord Endrenalmuss who infused the blade with all of his magical ability. This blade has the ability to take a mage of low skill and turn them into one of the most powerful illusionists in the world, but as it is demonic magic however, and because of the curse upon the lands that it has originated from--there is so much of a consequence for those who would ever be able to even just touch the blade without being able to properly use it.
In the center of the large, cursed forest, lies a eerie and forgotten castle where the Warlord Endrenalmuss lives. Due to the strong hallucinations, and the deadly beasts that stalk the night there, none have ever been witnessed to ever find it. The blade itself is so powerful that it is said to have a mind of it's own, and many reports throughout history of Krene with legendary heroes who have sought out looking for the blade have been shown after a short while of it disappearing and returning back to it's original master. If those that are brave enough to test the wits of the mental struggles, which may take beyond months even to do, can find their way to the castle and defeat the Warlord--the blade could possibly be theirs for life. If the Walord is defeated, all of his power will remain with the blade called Dragon's Breath, and that person would never have to lose it. Since the blade is said to have a mind of it's own, and it chooses the strongest of warriors who seek for it's attention, then they would come into place with that magnificent weapon that the Warlord was to it in the beginning.
This adventure would be a long term, full in depth and detailed fantasy roleplay that surrounds the demons of Inferikhane Kumarzione. It is a world that I came up with on my own with some friends, but for the sake of roleplaying I have adapted to focus around just one specific area. If I were to try and explain the entire world as a whole it would take way too much time and be way too overwhelming. We have pages and pages of lore on this stuff, but I want to focus around the area with the demons I contributed the most in the world and know the most about. For the sake of bringing this story to a new site, I want to leave the ideas and story presentation I have given to completely open minded. There is no specific way things have to be followed, be as creative as you want, and put forth whatever ideas you can come up with. I am looking forward to seeing the different viewpoints and creatives ideas that other minds can come up with, and I hope that what I have written seems like a good idea to bring forth into an advanced roleplay.

Well, I will gladly have you. Hopefully one or more people become interested as well because it would be more interesting as a story to see it developed with competition for the sword.

If not, I am more than fine with a one on one. I find them a lot easier to keep up with. Overall, I don't want anymore than four people.
I've got some interest. Is there going to be more of a story than just "go here and get this thing," ala a D&D module, or will there be some more things to do than just kill monsters? I like some stories with my worldbuilding.
Character development, yes. It's not all about killing things, I mean, it would be also different strangers getting to know one another and while they are competing to eventually have the sword for themselves, because only one of them can, they will have to work together to fight off the illusions. It's a forest where your mind is exploited by the curse, and everything that you fear, your insecurities, or whatever negative influence inside of you that others don't know takes form in front of you. While it may not be physical, the hallucinations are so strong that you swear it's real and cannot escape the fact that you are only interacting with a mirage essentially. So that part of the hunt for the sword will provide for great story details, don't you think?

I have not roleplayed yet on the site, but have elsewhere and think I am ready for the advanced category. In ny case, I would be wildly interested in being the fourth in your plot
I enjoy the way you speak about it. I'll be really happy with the depth, and especially cozy with the breathing/creative space you seem to allow us. I was thinking something along the lines of a demon character. I am FASCINATED with the anti-hero concept and would love being that chaotic-neutral or neutral-neutral (sorry for the DD reference, but it gets a point across) that offers twists and extra elements to the story. Also, I have absolutely no problem with receiving suggestions from yourself. So if ever you would want me to lure or point protagonists in a specific direction, I would gladly do so. Actually, I had an interesting idea for my character, though it might become a sub-punch line, so if you are interested, I could send you a private message about it.
