Pm me, i have a vague plot in the Victoria Era which involves a woman who doesn't like the fact that men can do everything while women can't.
I definitely like the Steampunk elements, but instead of just focussing on the actual setting, why not build a world around "Cause and Effect"?
Like this Trading Company, it makes the nation wealthy, at the cost of labour exploitation. It brings in new technology, but it divides the classes and those in power. It expands the border of the nations, but creates cultural conflict with those wishing to remain independent and retain their identity.
I think that, whatever we create or do, should have some sort of effect on the world. This way, it definitely adds new life to it. Opens up story plots. This is a dynamic world.
What do you guys think?

When life gives you lemons, you the eat the lemons raw, barf on life and then proceed to smack it around like the cruel idiot it is
All baked goods entering these premises will immediately be poisoned. Survivors will be eaten.
"I think that everyone has one. A little piece of their heart that makes them interesting. A little button that says: 'Do not push.'"

Excellent! Which means you get the lovely choice of either creating two separate RPs or having one with three people (:

I don't have time for two more rp so it'll have to be one gigantic one! Let's get plotting! I'll start the OOC.
