Genopolis Testing Company is a top secret underground testing facility, that houses genetically altered beings, normal animals and even the odd creature once thought to be mythological. It's a research facility when often the scientists are creating genetically altered beings, just because they can, and even finding about how already existing creatures function. State of the art technology and tools are used to enable things can be done quickly and proficiently. The top floor houses offices, a staff room and storage. What appears to be the ground floor is subsidised staff quarters, for those who choose to stay on site. Underground is the main laboratory and specimen accommodation. Armed guards roam the place and are at every entrance to ensure no mischief or escapes are an option.
But what happens when the test subjects want out? What do you choose? Fight, or flight?

Each staff member is given a room should they need it. Fully furnished with an en-suite, the only thing it lacks is a kitchen, but all cooking can be done in the communal staff room.

A basic, locked cell is provided for all test subjects.

You may play as either a scientist (you may be good or bad), an experiment (there are no limits on what you may be) or even both. Multiple characters per person is allowed, and encouraged. While I don't mind what you do for your character bios, I do have a couple of rules regarding other things.
*No Godmoding. If you want a powerful character, no probs, but this isn't a battle rp and so we don't want people just going around killing each other
*Keep it in your pants or in PM. Nothing wrong with a bit of innuendo here and there, but if every post is sex related it can defeat the point of the rp
*If you want to edit your character's abilities and whatnot, go ahead, but please let me know. I'm pretty cruisy, but it's hard roleplaying with others when they keep adding random powers and abilities as it suits them.

I will be playing 3 characters (Though not always all at once- whew! Though it makes it easy to interact with others). A scientist, the lab's manager, an experiment and a security guard.

Name: Dallas Bretts
Age: 53
Scientist/Experiment: Scientist. He's the lab manager

Bio:
A nasty piece of work scientist in his late forties. He lives to watch others' pain. Let's just say compassion isn't really his strong point. Quite often, his experiements aren't to prove or debunk a theory, but more "how much pain will they feel if..." not that he cares. He doesn't have a lot of time for scientists who do things humanely. Dallas grew up in South Africa, to abusive parents, which I guess explains the way he is a bit. He equated abuse to power, and doesn't understand that sometimes, all you need to do is ask nicely. Growing up, he was always the kid zapping ants with the magnifying glass, that sort of thing. No point in doing what he was doing, but he did it anyway. He left South Africa in the early 90's as it was getting too dangerous.

Bio: Dean throws most of his energy into his work. A man of science, he accepts that sometimes there's no pain, no gain. That said, he doesn't believe in harming something just to see it flinch. He tends to use the staff accommodation as an excuse not to deal with his girlfriend, Casie, who has him wrapped around her little finger. Manipulative and vindictive, he'd rather spend time at work than with her. Growing up, he was one of those popular, jocky type everybody loves to hate. After one of the students he bullied seemingly committed suicide (she disappeared after several state search and rescue teams were deployed, she was presumed dead), he vowed never to bully another person again.

Bio: Mia grew up as the introverted geeky girl at school, getting harassed by the jocks, and usually having her nose buried in a book. Due to her generally popping a tail when wet, she got through this when she was younger by feigning a serious phobia of water, which her classmates found hilarious. Luckily, any incidents were narrowly avoided. Eventually, she tired of her classmates' taunting, and simply swum off, heading noth to New York City where she was soon snapped up for the role of Alphaba in the musical Wicked. This was shortlived, however, as she was soon caught in a net during one of her sneaky midnight swims. She never even got to tell her parents goodbye, though sometimes thinks this might be a good thing, as she doesn't want any harm coming to them. Her tail is deep blue. She has a scar on her right eyebrow/cheek, after refusing to co-operate with Dallas, the lab's manager. He got upset and smashed her head into the edge of the tank.

Name: Morgan "Frankie" Key

Bio: Morgan had been tormented, from the age of sixteen, by his brother and his brother’s friends for liking boys. Claiming Morgan’s sexuality to be abnormal, his brother and friends constantly physically and verbally abused him for four years. This led to Morgan finally snapping, and, on Halloween, the teenager sought out his bloody vengeance. He violently murdered his own brother and his brother’s friends, their cries of pain and for help arousing suspicion in the neighbours, who then called the police. The latter discovered Morgan, covered in blood and dressed as Frankenstein’s mosnter (from there the nickname “Frankie”), surrounded by the mutilated corpses who were once his brother and his friends. They arrested him, but, due to their discovery of his ill state of mind (he kept insisting that he needed to “get rid of vermin”), the police decided to send Morgan to a mental institution. But instead, he was shipped to Genopolis as a test subject where his own DNA were spliced with those of wolves.

Morgan is timid, quiet, and yet enjoys the company of at least one person, even if they don’t speak when together. He likes to read comic books and play guitar- a skill which he has developed throughout the years. Sometimes one may catch him talking to the voices in his head, but most simply assume he’s talking to himself. He is convinced the shadowy voices are his friends and allies, and will flare up whenever anyone contradicts this belief of his.

Name: Charlotte "Chilly" Frost

Bio: Charlotte is the daughter of a Yuki-onna named Nagita, and a human named Marc Frost. Charlotte has many of her mothers powers, though some she is still learning to control. As a half Yuki-onna or Snow Woman, Charlotte will inherit all of her mothers power, however she will remain mortal until she turns 18. Since she is able to warm her self and appear human, her childhood was fairly easy. Her mother left when she was a baby, but watches over her from time to time. When she was 12 years old, she was in a car accident which killed her father and severely injured both of her legs, leading to them both being amputated below the knee. Because her powers had not yet fully manifested, she was not able to heal her injuries as she can now. Charlotte currently has three pair of prosthetic legs, for different uses. Charlotte was brought to the facility at the age of 13 when her foster parents started to realize she wasn't normal. For the most part Charlotte is accepting when she's treated right, she's often allowed out of her cell to help around the facility, though there are some employees that think she should be caged like an animal 24/7. Charlotte is usually not a danger, but has been shown to be extremely dangerous when provoked enough, one one occasion even giving a scientist severe frostbite when they slapped her. Charlotte is a fairly typical teenage girl, though a bit mature for her age. Although she can appear as a white haired human, she rarely bothers unless asked, letting her natural appearance be her normal. After 4 years, the Scientists assigned to her, have still not learned the extent of her power or its potential, but have learned that enough heat can keep her under control, for the most part. and on top of it all, there is always a white Christmas, at least in her cell.
