Plot
You're either a freak or extremely talented. Either way, Jorge Faire wants you in his show. Not just any show, Cirque Berserk, one of the most famous circuses in North America. Cirque Berserk travels with the Big Top Fair, which includes several rides, stalls, vendors, games, roller coasters, and a Ferris Wheel. When you're not working, the fair is all yours! Sounds like fun, right? Who wouldn't want to run away and join the circus? Romance, action, and a killer show all wait for you at Cirque Berserk!

It wouldn't be fun without a twist though, right?

Once you hop on this caravan, there's no getting off. You know that anklet you're required to wear? Yeah, not only does it have a tracking device and is virtually indestructible, it's also a mind control device. Jorge Faire may seem like a guy for family fun, but he's in it for the fame and riches and without his little pets he's got nothing. So get comfortable and put on a good show. You won't like the consequences if Mr. Faire has to make you.

Ranks
Talents are people who have extrodinary skills. Some examples are acrobats, contortionists, fire-breathers, and clowns. They perform in Cirque Berserk at night for large audiences. Talents each get one act, or they can partner up with another talent for an even better experience.

Freaks are people who have something special about them that makes them unique. Anything from the bearded lady to a kid with cat ears can be found here. The freaks perform in Cirque Berserk during the day once in the morning and once in the afternoon. They are stationed around the ring to showcase their individual oddities, giving the crowd a chance to go from freak to freak at whatever pace they choose.

Age: Eleven. Turns twelve during the RP

Talent or Freak: She's got white cat ears, and is super flexible, so I guess contortion. She does amazing flips and such.

Act/Showcase: She does multiple flips and such, twists her body in ways you couldn't imagine, and does lethal jumps and throws herself high in the air without help of others.

Personality:Alaska can be quite fierce, and very defiant. She is brave, and stands for what she believes in. At the same time, she's sweet and shy, and rarely ever talks. She is very elegant and graceful, as well as quite childish. Whenever she enters a room, she seems to brighten the mood.

Bio: As a young child, she lived with her faternal parents. After they got divorced and her mother got remarried to a very abusive man, she ran away. She lived on the streets, preforming her talent to earn money. That's where Jorge found her. She's the newest to the circus.

Show Name: The Grim Reaper, The Angel of Death

Act/Showcase: During the day Alex performs in Cirque Berserk as a freak with his wings. He lets people touch them and flies around outside the tent before show time. At night Alex is the Grim Reaper, complete with a scythe and cloak. His partner is Alaska. He's the main attraction at Cirque Berserk.

Personality: Alex is sarcastic and friendly at best, rude and brutally honest at worst. Overall he's calm and speaks his mind. He's not afraid to tease people. He's very defensive and slightly arrogant. He's a flirt with everybody. He loves interacting with the crowd and scaring children. He has a good sense of humor, though its slightly twisted.

Bio: Alex was bought by Jorge Faire from a research and testing facility when he was three. At that facility they tortured Alex with painful and invasive tests and experiments, so Jorge was his guardian angel. He grew up in the show and has become much like Jorge's son. In many ways, they are each others downfall. Alex sees no wrong in anything Jorge does and Jorge could never hurt Alex.

Act/Showcase: Peter is equipped with the ears, tail, and heightened senses of a wolf. He's an attraction in Cirque Berserk's freak show and is often mistaken for a werewolf.

Personality: Peter hates above anything being underetimated for his age. He's very childish in many ways though. He finds nearly everything funny and gets distracted easily. He tries to be mature but fails miserably most of the time. He's very defensive and can go off unexpectedly, but he's not one for fighting. He prefers to give the silent treatment. He's a very loyal and protective friend.

Bio: Peter was rescued by Jorge from the same research and testing facility as Alex. Peter barely remembered the facility and Jorge was too busy with Alex's act to give him much attention, so he never grew close to the man. Instead, Alex became like an older brother to him. Alex is the only person Peter lets treat him like a little kid.

She managed to convince her parents it was better for them all that she leave them at such a young age, she ended up with a group of arial performers who trained her in the talent she now preforms. She has been apart of this certian show for the past 3 years and recieved her show name Pixie from a woman who trained her.

Act/Showcase: Lion taming in the circus, showcases her ability to communicate with animals by standing in a pit of poisonous snakes and controlling their movements, remaining unharmed.
Personality: Ariadne is timid and extremely quiet. She only speaks when someone is addressing her, but only talks enough to answer the question and has to be prompted for details. She becomes livelier and more talkative when with animals, but not by much; she is also more confident and assertive when with them. She is also very eager to please and scared of Jorge.
Bio: Ariadne grew up in a cold and rather dysfunctional home. Her father was having an affair and did not care much about his marriage, and her mother was resentful towards him and neglected Ariadne. She had an affinity for animals and could communicate with them from a young age. When she was nine, she ran away to join the circus and attracted Jorge's attention after she was menaced by a growling dog and (to him) controlled it to calm down. He offered her a ride back to his circus in his caravan where he tested her ability by setting her in front of an angry lion. She managed to calm it and Jorge decided that her ability would be useful as a freak showcase and in his circus.

Bio:
Growing up in a rather poor family from the start it was hard for Dallas as it got older, other kids that he knew from his school all got the good things for christmas and birthdays but he was lucky to get even two presents for each of these speical occasions. His grandfather was also a flame act in the circus when Dallas was around 5, he was always mesmorised by his acts and skills and he wanted to be just like him one day. When reaching the age of nine, his grandfather thought he was old enough to learn this skill before his grandfather became to old to teach Dallas how to do this skill. After hours and hours every day, learning the skill through sweat and determination, he got the skill mastered. Soon after his grandfather passed away leaving Dallas with the only person in his family to actually have accomplished this flame skill.

Act/Showcase: Magic shows, escape artistry, card tricks, other endeavours a magician would involve himself with
Personality: Allen's an odd one, to say the least. He has this dramatic flair to everything he does, making him a rather good performer, but he's terrible socially - odd eye-contact, odd speech patterns, a brief psychoanalysis of your person, attention deficiency not present during his usual routine, amongst other things, will usually follow after an encounter with the magician. He also tends to unintentionally insult people via large amounts of deadpan snarking.
Bio: Allen had always been fascinated with the logistics of magic, slips of the hand, and circus life. He had trained almost his entire life with the skills of his trade, but apart from that, lived a fairly regular life. His parents weren't abusive or only cared about his sister, and he wasn't really bullied at school. However, when the Cirque Berserk passed through his town when he was 9, he knew he had to see it. After watching the mesmerizing show with his friends, he knew he had to get a piece of the action. Thus, making his way backstage and 'unintentionally' getting caught... after they had moved past his town to some other town a few states over.

Act/Showcase: Artemis is trapped in almost un-escapable places and is able to find amazing ways out of there. The act he specialises in is a certain one where he is trapped in a metal container filled with water and he somehow escapes and appears behind the audience.
Personality: Artemis is mysterious and has a habit of talking circles around people to toy with them. Although when he's not messing with peoples' minds he is a very loyal and kind person with a very forgiving nature.
Bio: Artemis joined the circus recently and so is still a little unfamiliar with the acts. He watches the shows when he can, fascinated by the array of different people here, both talented performers and crazy freaks of nature. He discovered his amazing talent one day when he was still at school. Some of the bullies in school told him they had put some answers to a history test coming up in a dumpster behind school. Artemis had trouble learning see... He needed those answers if he wanted to get a good grade and impress his mum. So after school, he went to the dumpster to find a couple of the boys from the group there. They told him that some more rubbish had been put in since they hid the answers there this morning and that if he wanted them he had to go and get them. He went into the dumpster and while he searched through the rubbish for something that wasn't even in there, they went behind the dumpster and closed the lid. No light remained and there was thought to be no other way out of the dumpster. The kids walked off, laughing at Artemis' stupidity to trust them. They looked back at the dumpster, laughing as one of them took the answers out of his pocket. Artemis appeared out of nowhere in front of them, snatching the answers from the boy's hand and looking at them sternly. The lid of the dumpster had not been opened and the kids stared at him in amazement before running away in terror. When Artemis came home, his mum had already found out about his talent and she demanded how he did it. He didn't really know himself to be fair... And he still doesn't know today. The next day, when his mum had gone to work he got up for school. When he left to go catch the bus, he found a note on his doorstep from a girl who lived across the street. She had heard about him and left a flyer for John Faire's circus, or Cirque Beserk as most knew it. He left for it immediately, writing on the back of the note to tell his mother that he had left to share his talent with the world.

9:00 - Fair grounds open to the public. Everyone is free to wander the grounds and interact with the crowd. Performers are on their own for breakfast. All the vendors are to give the performers free food whenever they want.

10:00 - Cirque Berserk's morning show begins. It features Alex as "The Angel of Death", Alaska displaying her cat-like features and flexibility, Peter as Wolf Boy, and Ariadne in the snake pit.

12:00 - All performers are to meet in the performer's tent for lunch. Jorge Faire may choose this time to make announcements.

4:00 - Cirque Berserk's afternoon show begins. It features Alex as "The Angel of Death", Alaska displaying her cat-like features and flexibility, Peter as Wolf Boy, and Ariadne in the snake pit.

6:00 - All performers are to meet in the performer's tent for dinner. Jorge Faire may choose this time to make announcements.

8:30 - Cirque Berserk's night show begins. It features Alex and Alaska in the Grim Reaper act, Tipsy Tina, Pixie, The Beast Princess, Allenkazam, The Escape Artemis, and Cruz Control.

Act/Showcase: Curses, charms, spells, tarot readings, crystal veiwing, dream interpretation, she does it all
Personality: mysterious, creepy, cryptic... even her smile sends chills down people's spines. She enjoys speaking in riddles and scaring people. Many have begged for her favor, but she merely laughs at their pleas. She also laughs when people call her heartless (the why is explained in the history). Her small living quarters is a place even her colleagues do not want to go. She likes her privacy and gets very offended when someone invades it. And trust me, you do not want to offend a gypsy because her vengance is worse than death. Those that pass by her living quarters often hear her chanting in Romany and burning strange sweet smelling incense.
Bio: Young Esmeralda was born to a violin player and a dancer in a gypsy caravan. She was only four when the oldest gypsy woman in their group saw that Esme (as she was then called) had 'the sight'. The whole caraven began calling her 'Vadona' or "the knowing one". She was able to look at the people who came to their caravan and instantly tell what kind of person they were and what fortune would soon befall them.
But this gift turned into a curse one horrid night. Esme was nine years old when the son of a wealthy land owner came to their caravan to buy some charms and have his fortune told as a joke. Esme looked at him and said 'goodbye'. When asked why she told him that, she responded 'because he will die today'. Flustered, the man left and not an hour later his horse threw him and he struck his head on a rock, breaking his neck and killing him instantly. The landowner blamed the gypsies. That night he came with a group of men and burned all of their belongings and killed everyone. Esme cried and pleaded for mercy. The man laughed and raised his gun to shoot her. 'You are wicked' young Esme said 'may your evil heart be struck by the innocent souls you have taken this night.' Instantly the man's heart stopped and he fell over dead.
After finding another caravan Esme adopted the name 'Vadona' and made money telling fortunes and making charms for people that actually worked. But trouble came again, this time in the form of a handsome young man who romanced Esme and then broke her heart by dumping her for a rich society woman. Angered by his betrayel, Esme cursed him. His rich girlfriend no longer loved him and he was doomed to forever chase young women, only to never stir the heart of any.
The last caravan she was in one of the young men fell in love with her. The leader of the caravan killed the man she loved in a fight over Esme. She cursed the leader with the inability to became aroused ever again.
