The Seven Kingdoms and Beyond (Graceling) [OOC]

Graceling is a book that I absolutely love! If you don't know what it's about, don't worry, I'll tell you.

Graceling is about children who have special abilities the happen around birth. Soon after birth, one of the babies eyes change to a different color. E.i. green eye and blue eye, grey eye and red eye, etc.(no eye color can be the same!) These abilities could be useless or useful. E.i. Survival, hand-fighting(hand to hand combat), etc. These children are called Gracelings. These children are handed over to the kings of the kingdom they live in.

There are eight kingdoms in the Known World.

Nander is the Northern kingdom. It has many rivers, lakes and much flatland. It faces the ocean at two sides and that means there are some port cities in Nander. The capital of Nander is Isaac City.

Wester boarders with Nander and Midlunds. Like its neighbors it has much flat land but it has much less rivers and lakes. Also Wester faces the ocean at one side. The capital of Wester is King City.

Midlunds lies in the middle of everything and boearders with; Nander, Wester, Estil and Sunder. There are many likes, streams and rivers here as well. And flatland... Flatland everywhere. The capital of Midlunds is Norman City.

Sunder is full of forests. Forest everywhere and flat land at some places. Also Sunder faces the ocean and it boarders with Wester, Mislunds, Estil and Monsea. The capital of Sunder is Felicia City.

Estill consists of flatland, hills and even mountains. There is also forest scattered across the lower parts of it. It boarders with Nander, Midlunds and Monsea. The capital of Estill is George City.

Lienid is an island and therefor the farest away from the other Kingdoms. It has a very changing landscape with beachs, hills, mountains, flatland, forest and so on... The capital of Lienid is Po City.

Monsea is the most isolated Kingdom after Lienid. It is full with flat land and mountains. Many, high mountains. It borders with Sunder and Estile and faces the sea as well. The capital of Monsea is Bitterblue City.

There is another area called the Dells that no one goes to since no one knows what lives there.

Most everyone lives in peace and harmony. Except for Monsea. Monsea has been under the spell of a madman who was a Graceling that had the ability of persuasion. Now Queen Bitterblue, daughter of the madman known as the assassinated King Leck, tries to make it right. Everyone else lives peacefully.

Now this is where you come in. You are a Graceling living in the castle of the kingdom you live in. You have a special ability and you socialize with the knights, servants, and other people that live in the castle.

Note that Graceling abilities are not like what you see in comics. There is no invisibility, super speed, flying, or anything like that. They are skills of survival. Thing you will need.

Anyway, like I was saying, you are a Graceling. And you work for your king, sometimes for gold coins, other times for free. No one can have the same Grace.

The graced are generally feared/hated in six of the seven kingdoms and people tend to avoid them. The only kingdom where the gracelings don't belong to the king and are respected is the Lienid Kingdom.

The main idea of this would be there would be gracelings and humans. There will be several quests and lots of the things I like (ex. Adventure, Romance, Medieval Era stuff, etc). Everyone of them would play a major role in something dreadful that, if they didn't stop it, all the kingdoms would fall.

• So there isn't any one-on-one's or the story doesn't advance too quickly, I would recommend you waiting for some minutes for you to think about what to write, details, etc, etc. (I'm really impatient and write fast, so I will most likely to write a little bit faster but still will wait)
• I know this is on Free, but please don't post one liners, I think we are mature and creative enough to post more, right? (At least three sentences please and don't make them short.)
•Use time-skips or plot twists when needed, they keep the RP going. Just PM me first and ask me if you can.

Anabelle's mother and father died when she was very young, before her eyes had even settled: her mother died from a fever, the same one who took Katsa's aunt, and her father was killed in a Westeran raid on a Nanderan village he had volunteered to defend. Both her parents were gone before she even spoke a single word.

When she was born, both her eyes were blue. After a while, one of her eyes changed a light grey, barely indistinguishable. Which is what set her apart, her eye colors looked similar unless you really looked close and saw that they were different, so nobody really thought she was graced unless they came close enough to her.

She was raised in the castle, with little supervision. She found companionship with just herself, and she would sneak through the castle's hidden passageways. She had always been interested on the outside. She didn't need to sleep as much, she was never sick, she got hardly any injuries (never really had a broken bone or anything as grave) or eat as much. She enjoyed her childhood until the King took that freedom from her. Her childhood effectively ended when she was eight years old, when her Grace revealed itself.

When Anabelle was eight, a distant cousin of hers visited the court. Anabelle hadn't liked him; he treated women badly, leering and touching them. He began to pay attention to Anabelle, and once, as he pondered the nature of her Grace, he stroked her thigh. Anabelle spun around and smashed him in the face so hard that he died instantly from having the bones of his nose shoved into his brain.
Instead of banishing her, the King punished her with three weeks of solitude in her chambers, realizing that her Gracel could be useful.

Anabelle began training soon after. She trained with the castle lead guard, Oll. He started her training first with dummies, filled with grain, and with prisoners Oll brought to her, "men whose deaths were already decreed.'' She learned her own speed and her explosive force. She learned the angle, position, and intensity of a killing blow versus a maiming blow. She learned how to disarm a man and how to break his leg, and how to twist his arm so severely that he would stop struggling and beg for release. She learned to fight with a sword and with knives and daggers. She was so fast and focused, so creative, she could find a way to beat a man senseless with both arms tied to her sides. Such was her Grace.

Eventually, her skill grew so drastically, the art of her own body so perfected, that she began to practice on eight or ten soldiers at a time, all in full body armour, without even so much as a knife to defend herself. She would take them down one by one, in hand-to-hand combat. Eventually, the King grew satisfied with her progress, and decided to put Anabelle to use.

All over the six kingdoms, she is feared, though the people from Lienid praise her fighting and Grace. Above all the other Graced, she is said to be the worst to go after you, since she can use various weapons and techniques to kill or threaten someone. She doesn't have many friends, a few from the castle and outside. She doesn't make friends easily, but when she does, she shows her true self to them.

Personality: with the people she trusts and/or knows she is adventurous, bright, book and street smart, careful, gentle, kind, creative, decisive, stubborn, determined, elegant, enchanting, sometimes emotional, energetic, enthusiastic, faithful, friendly, generous, graceful, honest, imaginative, independent, intelligent, intuitive, loving, protective, optimistic, passionate, persistent, can be patient when she wants, reliable, is a sucker for romance and is a definte romanticist(though she'll never admit it), sensible, straight forward, sympathetic, warm-hearted, protective, sometimes sarcastic. Serious, professional, sometimes polite depending who you are and cold to the people that she doesn't trust.

Genius-level Intellect: Gweyn possesses a genius intellect and perception with almost no equal; capable of devising an elaborate master plan at a moment's notice. Personality: Considered one of the most talented Knight in the world, Gweyn is benevolent and eccentric, an archetypal good knight. He almost constantly gave off an aura of calmness and composure, rarely displaying intense emotions of anger or fear; instead he appeared content and whimsical throughout. Yet despite his benign nature, it is said that Gweyn was the only Knight truly feared by Wester.

As a supremely talented Knight, Gweyn shows numerous examples of extraordinary abilities. His abilities as a knight were combined with a kind of cunning and subtlety of mind that allowed him to comprehend human nature and turn the better aspects of humanity (trust, love, and friendship) to a disadvantage for some. Yet despite his many talents and accomplishments, Gweyn was never in the least arrogant, self-important or pompous and in this he stands above the other great Knight of his day. Despite this fact, however, Gweyn is quite aware of the fact that his abilities are grand and would not hesitate to remind others of this fact, if the situation demanded it. However, in the end, Gweyn is a man of peace.

He lives believing that the art of battle was meant, not to defeat an opponent, nor to protect one's self, not even to cut away one's weaknesses, but to protect one's soul. Subsequently, he means to protect one's own soul; their pride, their morals, and their beliefs; to never yield to another's will. But most of all, to protect the fragments of one's soul, passed on to those that one would form bonds of friendship with.

As stated by his older brother, Gweyn's most remarkable ability is his will to succeed, pushing himself beyond his limitations, and never giving up even when the odds are stacked against him. Gweyn, for the most part, only fights to win, and usually will spare his opponents, despite initially claiming that he'd kill them. In contrast to this, he appears not to bear much regret to when his opponent has died, whether by Gweyn's own hand or because of other reasons. His staggering power is simultaneously reigned in and enhanced by his fierce unshakeable conscience and indomitable spirit. Gweyn seems to be proud of his own power, but unlike his best friend, he seemingly possesses no physical signs of arrogance or overconfidence. This great strength appears to have a hand in his interest in facing powerful opponents, subsequently contributing to an inability to turn down challenges, especially when it concerns a powerful opponent; although regardless, deep down, he is a man of peace, a trait that was influenced by that of his teacher. Although he is a fearsome fighter, Gweyn will typically use the guise of a coward most of the time to avoid needless bloodshed. However, in complete contrast, he is in fact willing to risk his life for almost anyone.

He was trained in with sword and ax, bow and knife, how to hunt the wild life and his enemies. He played rough games with his piers which more often than not left some kids with broken bones and bleeding.

He believes in skill and hard work and rather the honest living of wilds rather than inherent abilities.

Almost at the same time when he turned 24, his father's brother turned on the clan, betraying it for a rival clan.

Bane was the only survivor of the attack.

He has traveled and wears a blood crimson scarf around his neck that is said to have been soaked in his enemies' blood.

Personality: Tempermental, Honorable when it comes to combat. Does not like to be told what to do.

He's very kind and pacifist-like, always coming up with new songs to use to charm an animal.
