Bump.
Hello.
I am going to go ahead and jump completely out of my usual roleplaying character. I have enough advanced 1X1's going on right now that I am looking for a free to casual one on one simply to unwind. So, all my normal requirements for roleplaying partners are just going right out the window. I don't care if you are only capable of giving one-liners, so long as I can understand what you are writing, and it is proper English (no txt tlk plz!!!!) we are probably good to go. The only thing that I really do care about is that you are comfortable roleplaying via thread. I have issues with roleplaying via PM's, and only if you are one of the notable people mentioned at the very bottom of this post would I really be willing to consider it.
However, I am looking for something rather specific in my roleplay story. Basically, what it boils down to, is I want to play a character that is badass above all levels of badassery. I want a character who could get hit by a nuke and kind of just be "yeah, whatever" about it.
Yes, I do understand that having such a character probably means that this story won't last very long. In fact, I'm kind of expecting it. That isn't to say that I don't believe myself and my partner could come up with a story where such character(s) have challenges to face and ways to evolve. I totally do! In fact, I've done it. However, as I've been typing this, I've acknowledged that what I am looking for in this story is a little bit of stress relief. I want to kick some ass in any setting, be it post apocalyptic, space theme, angel and demon wars, modern day military, high medieval fantasy, anything. Just so long as it gives the chance for some serious ass whuping.
I am sure that, somewhere in the 36,000 members of this guild there is a high-level roleplayer who loves having those kinds of characters as much as I do, and wants to set up a deeply thought out and brilliantly powermodded story. If you are such a person, please, PM ME!! I'd be desperate to meet you. Yet, I need this kind of story enough that I am not willing to wait for you to turn up right now. Later I'll go on such a hunt, but for now I just want a quick fix. Therefore, this is a call for one and all. If you know that you are in the mood for such a story either PM me, or reply here and then PM me.
So, yeah. That is all I've got. I'm only really looking for one or two people for this, but I don't know if this is going to have any sort of popularity whatsoever, so you can probably assume that as long as it is up I'm still looking. Can't wait to hear from you!
Well I'm a sucker for fine Cuban cigars, The problem is I can't afford 'em, But last year I went and got myself a whole box, And just to be safe I insured 'em
I took out a policy against fire and theft, And then I hurried home, With a fifty-cent lighter I sat on my back steps, And I smoked 'em one by one
Two weeks later I went to see that insurance man, And I handed in my claim, With a straight face I told him that through a series of small fires, They'd all gone up in flames
They reviewed my case and they had no choice, But to pay me for what I'd done, And I took that check and bought a whole new box, And I smoked 'em one by one
Two weeks later this detective shows up, Tells me that company's pressin' charges, One speedy trial later they locked me up, On twenty-four separate counts of arson
And now I sit and I stare at a blank brick wall, Lookin' back on what I've done, To pass the time I've got some ten-cent cigars, And I smoke 'em one by one
Bump.

Well, that fell through wonderfully. Bump.

Hey, I'm interested. I don't know if I can keep up with advanced standards, but I can usually write a few paragraphs per post. Just so I know, what's the power scale for this? Are we talking characters that can flick their finger and destroy the milky way or like someone who can power up to his max and and maybe blow up the moon?
A few paragraphs is fine. That is all many of my "advanced" 1X1's wind up being anyways.
The power scale would be proportional to the scope of the universe we created. If our universe crosses multiple galaxies (there are many of them, after all) then, yes, they probably could blow up a whole galaxy, although it might take more than a flick of the finger. If, however, we limit our setting to Earth, then destroying the moon at full power sounds about reasonable. Not that they would have any reason to blow up the moon, we would hope.
So, I hope that clarifies, and I hope to hear from you again soon.

Hey there! I see that you have already seen some interest. In the event you need another partner for a laid back roleplay, please do not hesitate to contact me. That is exactly what I am looking for right now! Thank you!
It's who you are, baby girl.
You see the beauty in everything and everyone no matter where you go.
Roleplay with me.
Several month later bump. Anyone else need some similar stress relief?
-------- Update ----------
Few minute hold: Until I figure out if this new partnership has potential.
