kalin stood in the main hall of a mansion. his most recent target lay dead at his feet. kalin turned and left the building heading south back towards his base. as he walk he though about the mission he had just completed. it had taken longer than he had liked due to the new security guard rotations he had to work around to get into the house.

[Eruraina]

The assassination had been incredibly easy for Azazeal. He had timed it just right so that his target was on a hunting trip. He had lured away his target from the rest of group by setting up strategically placed tracks, and calling out in a way that sounded like the animal the man was hunting. When they were out of sight from the group, Azazeal attacked, with his hooked blades quickly killing the man, mutilating him so bad it looked like an animal had did it. He took the man's ring, the sign that he had killed him, and made off, not leading a single track behind that looked human. This had been an extremely easy kill from this assassin.

kalin sighed as he got back to his base and sat down in his chair. "this is the last time i take week old security information." he looked at the painting of a man on the wall and smiled. he then picked up the piece of paper in front of him. he quickly reads it over and sighs. " just great the job was canceled today damn it now i have to kill the coward who gave me the job so that i get some money out of this." he stood up and then dashed back out of his base heading west.

Azazeal went straight to the meeting point, a dark alley, where he met with the man who hired him. He gave the man the ring, and in turn was given money. Before Azazeal could leave, the man grabbed his arm.
"Wait, I have another task for you," he said, glancing around, then back at the assassin. "I have another I need you to kill. His name is Kalin."
Azazeal had heard the name before.
"You want me to assassinate an assassin?"
"Yes. I'll give you any amount of money that you want."
Azazeal considered it for a long moment, then nodded, and departed.

kalin jumped down from the window as the guards broke down the door to the house. "damn it all why did i have to take the job that this man gave me." he shrugged and then dashed into an ally and climbed a wooden fence and was gone into the night.

Azazeal moved through the streets with silence, finding his destination quickly. His temporary base, which right now was a room at a small Inn. He had payed off the patrons to keep his stay hushed, telling no one of the man in the room at the end of the hall of rooms. Or even the fact that someone was staying in that room. To make it even more careful that no one knew his locations, he didn't even go through any of the doors, but krept in through a window, more careful than necessary to make sure he wasn't seen entering.

He plotted on how to go about his mission. Though he knew, his first objective would be to gather information and figure out the whereabouts of this assassin.

kalin ran back into the base he had set up and he lit the fuses on all of the oil fires. he gathered his gear and left the base as it started to burn. he laughed lets see them find me now that i'm on the move and i won't stay in one place for more than one day.

As day came, Azazeal slept, a light sleep with one eye open as was habit. When night fell, he woke up, packed his few belongings and left the Inn, paying off his tab and disappearing into the night. He met with several contacts, people who helped him find other people. People who might know where his next target was. He heard rumor that this other assassin had taken residence in a small shack on the edge of town, an area where there had been a big fire during the course of the day. Rumor had it that whoever had lived in the house that burned down had died in the fire. Azazeal didn't like this rumor, wondering if there was a connection there, and decided he should look into it.

kalin had gone to his secondary base and then left his armor in his base. he dressed in his civilian clothes and he then rode his horse the 12 miles back to the city. he went into the local tavern and then ordered a drink. as he looked around a voice from the shadow's whispered in his ear kalin i have a new mission for you. a man slid a piece of paper in front of kalin and then left. kalin quickly read the mission and then sighed he was to kill another assassin who would be in the city soon looking for him. he didn't question how the man knew he was a target but he didn't care about that he just wanted to get paid this time.

Azazeal quickly found where the building had been. A crowd had gathered around, and authorities were looking into it. He listened to the whisperings of the crowd, people who were neighbors. Said some strange man lived in the house, always hooded. None of them knew who he was, because he kept to himself or was gone most of the time. Though the description matched the man he was after. Rumors whispered that he had died in the fire, and that's what the authorities were thinking too. But Azazeal didn't believe it. A good assassin would not have made such a stupid mistake. When people cleared out and night fell, he went through the ashes and found no trace of body or even gear or a blade. No, the fire was a cover up. This assassin was long gone from here. It was time to go back to stage one, gathering more information.
