    Jobsite peeves

Another night waiting tables inspired me to make this thread. What is the one thing at your job, whatever it may be, that gets under your skin? Big or small, it's the one thing that you simply can't stand. Think of this as a rant thread if you will :3

Personally, as a waiter, people that sit at a dirty table with clean ones blatantly available to them is just mind-numbingly obnoxious.

I hate how I don't get paid. Could be because I'm unemployed, but oh well.

I like my job, but I wish I was paid more.

@ Guster That is a minor problem. Plenty of jobs believe it or not, just quite a few of them, around here anyways are... Less than ideal.

Being a dishwasher who spends 4+ hours in a 7 hour shift doing food prep.
And then getting scolded for not being able to finish the dishes.

    Unemployed.

I have a feeling, though, that if/when I do get a job, my biggest problem is going to be idiots mispronouncing my name because they only know English name variations and can't be bothered to learn.

I would hope not, though mispronounciation isn't always their fault. Try my original issue. My last name is Italian, yet I was mistaken for Spanish/Mexican for the longest time because of it.

@ Herzinth Welcome to my life for two years prior to this job. Do you at least have a wash/sanitizing machine there to use?

Hell yeah. It's actually a pretty easy job. That's the only thing that bugs me at the entire place.

@ Herzinth When I did dishes, it was in three sinks, elbow deep in grimy water with a barely functional sanitizer -.- To top it off I was the prep cook as well, yay for cleanliness!
