    Crede Quod Habes, et Habes

To keep me motivated throughout January I am going to make an abstract signature a day, and I might as well put them here.
They will either suck or be good, we'll see. I'll just put a ⍻ or x to it, on whether it was a success or failure. I get the feeling they will all be x's. This is going to end up being a total shit fest.
I'm not one for large drawn out introductions, so let's go.

    Day 1: X

    Day 2: X

I don't see why you felt the first two were failures. Honestly, i've always been a fan of abstract / expressionist art, and i think the logic which goes behind making those kinds of pieces is much different than the logic behind creating say photo-realism. You kinda of have to be more imaginative when it comes to abstract, to create something you don't see. So i'll reiterate: I don't see why you labeled the first two as failures.

Personally however, i prefer the second image, because i like the bigger geometric designs contrasting the smaller ones, whereas the first is simply a large collection of smaller designs. Not to say the method you used for the first one couldn't create an appealing piece, but i think a grey scale image doesn't do it justice. I would've liked to see you experiment with colors and different designs, such as splatter effects and such. Contrary to what some people think, creating an aesthetically appealing, abstract piece with colors is actually pretty difficult.

Anyway, you closed your thread, so no point in rambling. I just didn't think your sigs were failures at all, hah.

[12:59:28 AM] Soapy: Paul sounds like a nice guy.
[12:59:39 AM] Soapy: He has a gentle voice. Like an ocean wave gently breaking on the sand, or a chorus of angels singing sweet, angelic melodies into your ears.
