    ∞SpaceZero∞

The feet of at lest three, maybe four people pound the slick wet pavement. Silhouettes, because the night held the blackest sky possible. They ran as fast as they could, to nowhere. They knew it to; they are trapped in a timeless and never ending space. You’re watching this on a wide screen built into the wall. Soon the screen fizzes out into total blackness. That was the last footage of the 'missing'.

The room you where in was simple. The north wall held the main elevators and a few doors you knew you would not be opening. The white walls bright in contrast to the blue of the sky that was easily viewed through the east, south, and west wall, being almost all glass. In fact most the outer building was glass, but you would being working in room -20, a.k.a the basement, so you would be missing out on what the weather was for the next week or so. Shorter if you're lucky. The rest of the room was very bland, two couches across each other, and a glass table between them. Plus the T.V. you were just viewing. But this wasn't an importent room.

Your manager one of them, out of the five you had, the one women. In her solemn black suit, her dark brown hair pulled back in a bun, outlining her pale face, and on her small green eyes a black pair of square rimmed glasses, began to speak.

“This was footage from the test of a new machine; the name was not given to the public or to anyone really, in fact most of the people have no idea of the very tests running under their feet. I can tell you the name since you have volunteered to find the ‘missings’ in question. The name is simple it’s SpaceZero, simple but efficient,” her voice was strong yet calming at the same time. She had this odd power to get people to see everything how it is. How she saw it. ”I’ll continue with the story. The ‘missing’, were some of the first test subjects on SpaceZero when they found a horrible glitch in the system, a technological creature that created itself at the core of the system, SubBugs is there name. The SubBugs are very human in appearance, we assume they took the figures of the test subjects tried to duplicate it and glitched. SubBugs are shorter then an average human, and they have a light grey sheet of skin. We aren't sure why the SubBugs are attacking the subjects but they are. The ‘missing’ are still in the SpaceZero machines, but we can't remove them properly, and if they get killed by the SubBugs there minds will disappear forever. We would rewrite the code, but we can only make the new code active by rebooting the system. However we can submit you into the system with the tools you'll need. You will get to the core of the system delete the SubBugs and rescue the ‘missing’ are you ready for this?”

The last question was said weirdly, not as serious as it should be. It almost mimicked the voice that would be used to ask a little kid if they wanted ice cream, or something of that manor. It makes you irritated, lives are on the line, but the look on her face... The look in her face told the story and she wasn't messing around.

So you volunteer for a rescue mission, but you had no idea it would be anything like this.

    ****Importent notes****

    **Kelly's Bio- Founder of SpaceZero**
--Kelly always liked tinkering with technology, and geting new 'toys' to mess with and improve. She is very good at that kind of thing. Since she was a little girl Kelly wanted to be an inventor, she drew up plans and improved anything she could find. As she grew up she had less and less friends, not because she didn't want them only because she got to busy with her hobby to have close friends. Throughout school she aced everything with ease and was lucky enough to get a good scholarship. By age 25 she was funded to start her project, SpaceZero. The goal of SpaceZero was to use the subconscious to find forgotten dreams and reanimate them. Later when the project was on it's first wave of testing, she decided she wanted to go. During the first few runs it went well, and after awhile they noticed the SubBugs. They were no problem for awhile, so they were left alone, the testers thinking it was apart of their dreams. Soon it was noted several people had the same creatures in their dreams. Though it was too late, a group of people were sent in at the same time to test how much control the outside had over the dreams, to check there was no false results in past run throughs. The SubBus had blocked the area of 'land' the Testers used to exit SpaceZero. Thus making Kelly and her colleges stuck.

    **SpaceZero**
--SpaceZero was made to mimic forgotten dream, for studying the mind

--The group of missing went in with limited suplies, and now mostly run through void to avoid SubBugs, but occasionally meet with one of their past dreams. Collecting as many supplies as they can.
----Even through they run through dreams be reasonable about supplies you have

--The volunteers will be set up with supplies, such as food, water, and basic weapons. But not much will be supplied for fear of worsening the system.

--The subconscious brain thinks everything is real, you need to eat, and sleep, and all the other normal functions of a human

--There are only four 'missing', or test subjects

    **SubBugs**
--SubBugs where created from a glitch
----They look humanoid, with murky grey skin, piercing eyes (various colors*), and short straight hair (various color*). They don't become much taller then 4' 6", varies realistically.
    ------ * = Would realistically be on a human.

--SubBugs have no known motive for attacking
----SubBugs use weapons* for attaching, but are by in no way clever
------ Weapons are not made by them, leftover weapons found in dreams

    **Dreams**
--There dreams that are crossed through, these are known as 'dream terranes'. These are not found often as a result of glitches, and the weakened minds of the test subjects.

--The newer the dream the more realistic it is to the body
(I will be in control of the Dream Terranes, if you have a request I will consider it. If I make you an admin, it will be an automatic yes, but if in some cases I decide to stop it, I will)

Probably because no one can make sense of it. Is it a dream? Is it a computer? Who are the missing? ETC. If you reply to this i will reply in the morning when i'm not asleep.

    ...
    I don't understand. I explain everything.
SpaceZero is a machine that recreates dreams, a glitch in a the system created a problem and now they can get the people out. So to try and help they're sending people in to either fix the core of the system from within to get rid of the glitch and get everyone out safe.

I don't know how I can say it any other way.

Sorry when I get things in my head they're so clear. I'm not sure what to add to make this better.

Why would anyone spend time to make a machine that recreates dreams....what would that accomplish...

You could stay that with many things humans have done

    Why would you make;
    Video games
    The internet
    Go to the moon
    Most toys
    Amusement Parks

Because we're bored and it's fun.

Besides it does have a function, for phycologists, and neurologists to better study the brain.
