Yeah I'm with Syntax, are we sticking to what has been going on so far or just post after you whenever?

Well there was never a set rotation to begin with, but it seems like we fell into one anyways so lets keep with it since it worked out naturally

Okay guys, something we need to discuss, can we at least try to pick up the post rate to one post per day from everyone? If not, I'd at least like everyone to say how often they are able to post for the rp so I can at least get an idea of when people are going to post. This is casual, so huge walls of text aren't needed every few days, more like a decent sized post once a day is enough to keep this alive.

Sure thing, I can post at least once a day on week days and maybe once a day on the weekends but sometimes I will only be able to post once over Saturday and Sunday.

also, addressing syntax's post, don't auto hitting/god modding. I did that with my posts to set the stage for the encounters, but I saw a fair amount of it from Syntax, especially with Greed being "defeated." Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to ignore a huge chunk of that because I'm not letting auto hits happen. of course she won't dodge everything, just that the way that Syntax told it in his post is completely wrong due to his auto hitting portions.

also you notice that I'm not doing significant damage to you guys when I do my auto hits. It's to progress the story and provide new challenges, but I'm having second thoughts about the rp. It's not the auto hitting either, it's just that we've been at this for almost two week, and we don't even have a full 1.5 pages yet. I mean, this is just moving to slowly. I don't mind once a day posts, but with posts rounds that span for several days at a time that aren't even long, that's annoying.
This is casual, a post takes maybe a few hours to write up, and most people can post a few times a day, even with work and stuff, I know I can, even during finals I was rping on an old forum for a few hours at a time, several times a day.
Point I'm making is, it takes to long to post for pay off that isn't that great in the end, so if it continues at this rate, I might just drop it, sorry.

I can post at least once a day if not more, mainly I usually wait to give everyone a chance to post up what their character is doing. I'd definitely like to see this continue but I understand if you decide to drop it.

Dude this is roleplayerguild, that's just how things end up working out. To be honest actually you're pretty lucky that this has lasted two weeks and hasn't died. Usually a good thread gets started up and everyone's real excited, start posting like crazy and are real talkative all over the OOC. They get through a good 3 page or 4 page mound of IC posts within a week and then people start falling off for sickness or family probs or whatever reason they make up, or they just lose interest and it's dead within that week.
Yea it's casual, but casual doesn't mean a post shouldn't be thought out, my 'godmodding being a case in point where it wasn't thought out. It also doesn't mean it shouldn't be written well. Sometimes to write well ya have to add a little more description. It gives ya somethin good and entertaining. Stimulates your brain and let's loose creative sparks. The sparks, they're contagious ya see? Good writing just breeds more good writing and makes for an overall better RP experience. In this case, I think we're all doing really well. Everyone's had solid posts that have made sense and progressed a little in developing their characters and the kind of relationships the crew's gonna have.
So yea, sorry bout havin to fix all that there, I always thought god modding was when you took control of someone else's character. Didn't realize all the enemies we'd be fighting were directly controlled by you. Heeeneways, I didn't expect her to be defeated at all. I knew your post was coming next and you'd likely have Greed counterattack. In fights, it's common for a character to think they've won before they realize the fight's only begun. Few badguys are ever beaten without having a secret move or somethin or the other up their sleeve.. But yea, I'll be good from now on. Promise
