Jackson was always my favourite. Mainly because of his profession in history.

Yah, I was surprised when I found out Michael Shanks didn't play Daniel in the Stargate movie, I coulda swore it was the same person. XD He was so geeky at first, I pitied him.

I know he was replaced by Matt Smith, I've seen the show.

I also agree, the Ninth Doctor was my favourite.

    More common ground attempt:

    Star Trek?

A little. Enough to root for Picard over Kirk. And I will probably see Into Darkness when it hits theatres.

Don't bother with that Abramsverse rubbish. It's not Star Trek.

I'd suggest The Next Generation as a starting point into the franchise. It's the best.

Indeed. But, thinking TNG-era, he's in the command division.

    I think you'd be looking for gold-shirts.

Eh, sorry, it looks pretty good. And I'll consider it.

Looking good does not equal quality.

I went into the first Abrams film wanting to like it. I left feeling 'Eh' and rather divided on it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that fucking good, either.
