True Blood: A New Generation

Following the creation of synthetic blood (Tru Blood), vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. There are some humans that except the vampire community and are willing to coincide with them while others despise them and feel their kind should not have equal rights the same as humans. There have been several groups formed to eradicate the vampire population and to get others to hate them for example, the Fellowship of the Sun. This story takes place in Bon Temps, Louisiana where series of events are set to happen. Other creatures exist as well but keep their profiles on the down low, feeling vampires made a mistake of releasing their existence into the world. For the most part, humans have taking a liking to vampires and some even sleep with them, known as “fangbangers.” Other humans like vampire blood and use it to consume for their own high. Vampire blood also known as “V” is a registered illegal drug. Temporary V symptoms include hallucinations, heightened sex drive and sense, and enhance strength. Drinking too much can cause severe effects. The entire vampire rights campaign is similar to the gay community trying to get their rights if you need better understanding. This is of course a Free RP with a storyline that will progress over time. Several plots and subplots will be created. This is based off the show, and not the books. There are no canon characters so you will be making your own. (The only canon in the RP will be Sam and he will be an NPC).

Rules:
Since this is a free RP, I will be lenient on the rules. Just don’t do the obvious like Godmod and control other people’s characters. Try to be respectful of other RPers and if you have a disagreement, hash it out civilly or do it in mails. I’m not gonna be a babysitter. Try to have at least some knowledge about the show. I don’t feel like explaining every season about what happened. I do expect romance and sexual tension because c’mon…It’s True Blood, an HBO show. Just keep the sex in mails please. Bio:
Seth was born from a Faerie mother and a human dad. In hopes of spreading the fae line in the human realm, his mother fell in love with his dad, in which they mated and she was pregnant with a child. After the baby's birth, Seth's mom told his dad what she was and that she could not stay on the human plane, leaving his dad to raise the son alone. Growing up, Seth had a tough childhood due to his telepathy ability developing early. He could hear every thought, secret, and desire of any person he wanted. He always thought it was normal, his dad never telling him about his Faerie mother and the other powers he could potentially have. Now a full grown adult, Seth works at a diner called Merlotte's. Seth was one of few locals that actually like vampires and hopes to meet a real one, unbeknownst to him that his fae blood is like crack to vampires and other supernatural creatures.
Personality:
Seth has always been a shy person, but not afraid to speak his mind. He is known to be a bit of a prude, never have had sex or even uttered a curse word (which will all change later). Due to his telepathy power, it is hard for him to trust anyone because he could always tell if they are lying or not. He's generally friendly and it's easy for him to make friends. Sometimes it is hard for Seth to distinguish someone's thoughts from what they actually said, almost getting him in trouble. Seth can also come off as a bit naive. People always feel the need to protect him, even though he gets highly annoyed and tells people he's a grown man. Due to him being half fae, he is stunningly attractive and gets looks from both men and women. But with being handsome, he's never been with a guy sexually or even kissed one. He has been on several dates, which have lead to disaster because he could read what their real intentions were. Seth now has a mindset that he will never find the one for him and he is "cursed" forever.
