Levail High School. Until today, this school was nothing special. Its student body was quite varied and there was indiscipline across all levels, but no more than at any other school in a similar neighborhood. As seniors at that school, the time has come for the "Throne Speech", that is, the speech the principal delivers at the beginning of the year. One extravagant promise after another was made to the ~350 seniors that were still left to down from about ~450 when they entered Levail as freshmen.

"Today, I am proud to announce that we will offer a complete refund of all testing fees and application fees to all students who get into a first-tier university among this year's senior class. However, we need a complete listing of all testing fees and application fees to be delivered at my office by May 1st or else you won't get the money that was so promised" Principal Velasquez announced in front of all seniors that attended the school this day. "Thus, the goal is to land as many kids as we can to the best colleges around the world.
