"The wards seem to be the optimal choice, unless you want to return to my old room here. Although... I would rather not" Autumn says
Al nods in response "Wards it is, then..." He says in a neutral tone of voice.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you, for I have no idea!" Autumn says, Al chuckling through his nose, smiling.
He simply remains smiling as she bumps into Raz, knowing it wasn't likely to annoy him
He shakes his head at her question "No." He says in a casual tone, turning to look at him
"What's your name?" He asks happily, smiling.

[Frettzo]

Raz gasped in surprise as a filly bumped into him, then fell onto his side, quickly scrambling onto his hooves as he looked around, startled. Calming down as he saw they were friendly, or at least, that's what he thought, he smiled a bit "Oh, um. I'm Raz Spirit. What are your names? And it's okay, it was an accident, and if it wasn't, it was fun." He said with a chuckle.

Of course, it was fun to him to fall to the ground, as he often had rough games with his brother, but he didn't know if they knew about his family. They were a trading family, so they had traveled at least once through many of Equestria's cities and towns. But just as many other trading families, the names are forgotten by common ponies quite fast.

She smiled back, sighing in relief. He wasn't somepony that she knew after all. He hadn't berated her for it.
"Good morning. My name is Autumn Gold and this is my friend, Alyarin. Are you new here? If so, may I request that you exercise caut- That you.. be careful around the other stude-children. They have a habit of being quite nasty ones, to put it lightly. Also, yes, I would never shove somepony on purpose unless it were a game. And I wouldn't have done it without warning... I'm rambling." She came abruptly to a stop. "So.. Raz Spirit, was it? Is it.. fun here? Do you have friends? Would you like some? I would be more than happy to make your aquainta-be your friend, if that's..." She laughed nervously, blushing. Why wouldn't her brain work? The ponies here weren't like the ones she used to live with. Nopony even said "Thou" here. They were, what her father would have called, 'common folk' here. "If.. that is your wish. It gets lonely here with no friends..."

He smiles back at him as Autumn does.

He opens his mouth to say his name but quickly pauses and closes it again as Autumn speaks, listening throughout with a neutral expression, nodding slowly at her comment of the habits of most of the students... He nods as she ends her speech, ignoring her nervous laugh. "As would I. You need friends here... Lots of the other ponies can be cruel, as she said..." He says, making eye contact with him, smiling gently.

Raz chuckled a bit as Autumn Gold went on rambling, but still paid attention to her... Apparently there were a couple nasty foals around. He'd have to watch out for them- It's not like he couldn't defend himself from them, either. He then smiled as Autumn offered to be his friend, and nodded. "Yes, I'm new here, just moved in a couple months ago, actually. I wouldn't know if it's fun in the school... First time coming here, as for friends, well... I have my Big Brother, but sure, I can be your friend too!"

Listening as Alyarin put emphasis on needing friends, he couldn't help but a bit of nervousness creep in on him- Were ponies really that bad? They couldn't be...

"Well, I'll start by asking, do you like dogs?" He asked, grinning. The reason for the strange question was quite simple, really. His brother had a pet dog, and it was a really playful animal, so he'd always liked dogs.
