Today was a quiet one, at least, as quiet as it could be in a forge. Myles hammered away on a new sword with his trusty hammer Earthshatter, which doubled as a weapon and tool. The blueprints for such an item were given to him by none other than Hephaestus himself, his father. It was a celestial bronze hammer with a pointed tip opposite the blunt side. It was perfectly balanced for Myles and nobody but him. It contained an enchantment within it that made it so he could hammer and hammer and hammer, and it would be perfectly fine after a long days work. Myles took his free hand and picked up the completed sword. He submerged it in a nearby bucket of water. To any camper not born from Hephaestus, the steam produced from the hot metal contacting water would be enough to burn their arm. Myles held the sword up to the light and admired his work. The camper to use this would be in good hands. Of course, any weapon Myles made was in tip-top condition. Having being done with his work, Myles placed the sword with the 100 others he had made that day (he does not waste time when crafting weapons) and left the forge, locking it behind me. He walked through the rest of the Armory and noticed many other campers training their abilities. It was a common sight in this part of the camp. Myles left the Armory and looked up at the sky. It was late afternoon. He looked at his watch and noticed it was around 5 pm. "Almost time for dinner..." he said to himself. He made his way over to the cabins and where the bonfire would later take place.
