(This case was filed by various agents of the University of Southern California Medical Center, Meta-Human Division)
Name: Joseph Jacob Stackhouse
Alias: Some of the members of our staff have dubbed him "Primate" and "Sun Wukong", though most within the wastelands, who have yet to see the full capabilities of his gene, have taken to calling him such things as "Monkey", "Silverback", and "Lemur".
Gender: Male
Age: 18
- Birthdate: 6/09/96
Status: From what we've seen of him, we would classify him as a "Survivor"
"Superpower" (Yeah, this sucks compared to the one I wrote earlier): In a nutshell, "Primate" is able to shift his body into any animal belonging to the order Primates, and is even able to morph into more than one animal at the same time, entering a sort of "Hybrid" form.
In a detailed nutshell, after numerous tests run on the subject's blood after his mandatory medical analysis, it was discovered that said subject's Meta-Gene was altered by his childhood exposure to primate DNA, and if it were not for the exposure, Joe could most likely transform into any animal he wished, as long as it had existed at some time. However, due to the genes absorption of the foreign DNA signature when Joe was a child, he has been restricted to shifting into animals of the order Primates, albeit, at the cost of far less energy and focus if he were to be an all around "shapeshifter", and the primates he transforms into are far stronger and faster than the normal mammal, so, his restriction can also be called a benefit. However, the longer he spends in "full" animal form, the easier he is to tire and loose energy, although, if he were to only gain a monkey's tail and a lemur's eyes, he has been shown to be able to use them for an extended period of time.
It is also noteworthy that Joe's most common and easiest to perform transformation is that of a monkey, as it is the monkey's DNA that altered his meta-gene, the larger the primate, the harder it is for him to transform into, escalating from almost instantaneously to a maximum of fifteen seconds.
Personality: Joe has drastically changed since his childhood, after sprouting tails and being torn from his family, where Joe used to be megalomanically arrogant, he has now become reclusive and introverted, however, this is not to say he is a coward, as a matter of fact, it can be said he is the opposite, constantly getting into altercations with various other meta-humans (In which the opposing party has never escaped without at least two broken bones) within the wastelands, although most would call these "meaningless fights" it can be believed Joe does such things in order to assert his status amongst the metas, and to ensure he is not targeted by the more aggressive of the bunch, variably ensuring his own survival, something he has been unsure of ever since that fateful day in California.
Although it can be said Joe has become a generally cold person after being torn from his family, signs of the former person still exist, for example, he has taken on a childish hobby of transforming into a monkey or other relatively small primate and exploring the rooftops of the wasteland, and an even more often pastime: stealing various food items from other meta's while in animal form, although one would wonder why he would do such a thing when he constantly finds himself the target for fireballs due to it....perhaps he is just an extremely independent thrill-seeker?

Biography
(As filed by Dr. Harold Fitzgerald after numerous interviews with and research into the subject and his parents.): Joseph Jacob Stackhouse was born in Davis, California to a pair of zoologists specializing in the research of primates, who were employed at the
California National Primate Research Center. Expectantly, Joe's mother Wylla resigned from her position in order to raise the child, while the boy's father continued working in order to support the family.
During his childhood years, Joe excelled at things such as kindergarten and elementary school, seeming to be the proverbial "perfect child", intelligent, physically adept, and well-mannered. However, his father Jason brought him to the research center on the boy's seventh birthday, and it was here that the boy was exposed to monkey DNA by being bit by an aggressive specimen directly on the arm, the saliva of said specimen entering Joe's bloodstream, and eventually, coming in contact with the "Meta-Gene", astonishingly, the gene apparently accepted the signature without even a dispatch of white blood cells or anything, a rare anomaly indeed.
After his exposure to Primate, and more specifically, Monkey DNA, Joe's demeanor changed, although he still excelled at school and was athletically unmatched, he became something of a loner, pushing away those he used to call friends (which weren't many considering his lifestyle) with his almost god-like arrogance and self-confidence. He also became fiercely independent from his parents, something which the two scientists dismissed as a "teenage rebellious streak".
During his sophomore year in High School, Joe and the rest of his classmates were playing a heated game of dodgeball during physical education, and during the match, an unknown student hit Joe square in the face, driving the adolescent meta to the ground. Curiously, Joe almost immediately jumped back up to his feet with rage, and yelled out in a stereotypically monkey fashion, and his teeth began to enlarge, and of course, Joe ran out of the classroom in terror, thankfully, he found his way out of the school before he sprouted a tail.
After telling his parents of the incident, they feared for their son's safety, as there would no doubt be an investigation into the matter, and their colleagues at the university would no doubt become aware of the situation. The family hastily made it's way to New York, some months before the "Donnie Explosion", which they excused as a genetic phenomenon, and continued to keep their child's supernatural nature a secret (He had been spontaneously growing tails, enlarged fangs, and occasionally, fur.) although they were nearly arrested after they attempted to keep their son from complying with the June 1st mandatory medical exams.
Coinciding with his medical examination, Joe was torn from his family and placed within New York's "Meta wasteland" where he has found refuge in an apartment complex's luxury suite, which he has claimed for his own, only coming outside in order to gather necessities from the federal supply line, and all too often, to prosecute trespassers on his land, and ever so rarely, to playfully explore the wasteland in his animal form, causing mischief wherever he goes.
Curiously, his parents have accepted a tenure at a New York research center in order to complete research of the Meta-Gene's affect on animals, being some of the best zoologists in the world, they were two of the first contacted by the government.
