It's (mostly) an arena based PVP game, with a quasi-futuristic setting. Games are 1-on-1, team based, with teams ranging from 6 man teams to 24 man teams, or large scale "every one for their self" battles.
As said, the game is controlled via a person's body, via a specialized headset which lets a person's thought control their character, in a way that is as natural as moving.
World Next is an online PVP game, with a quasi-futuristic setting. AS said before, the game is controlled using a person's own body. This is done via a special headset, allowing a person to move their character's body like they would move thier own. There are 3 modes of play in World next
1 vs. 1
A simple person against person match, often with a number of people watching a fight. By far the most popular game mode
Team Battle
Same as above, but with fr more people. Team size ranges from 6 man team, to 24 man team
War
A large scale battle, ever man for himself. Up to 100 players can enter at once, and by far the game's bggest source of action.
Scanning
Another notable fact of the game was it's ability to "scan" objects, and use it as the basis of in game weapons and armor.
A bit more of an explanation on this, using an example.
A person can scan up to 3 threes, one for armor, for a main weapon, and one for a sub weapon.
For example, let's say someone scanned a ring with a ruby in it. That person's armor would be golden, with ruby details. How EXACTLY it would look, would be up to the owner, of course.
If a person scanned a sword of somekind, even if it was a real one somehow, or a cheap toy one, that would get a sword in the game. Or, if they scanned, say a pen...they would get a pen. Now, just what exactly that pen or sword did, would be up to the owner.
Now, the game does autobalance objects. So if a person scanned, say, a manga panel with some sort of earth destroying weapon, they would get something that acted like it did...but nowhere near as strong
