I feel like...this is why I come to Spam.

1x1 Roleplays: Search through threads, 99.9% of the time it's people saying "Ohai, well I like to RP, so PM me" with no plots, no ideas- nothing. The last 15 threads I've done were my ideas, I created everything for them and people just coasted through. For f--k's sake I'd like to just let my brain rest for a minute and have someone else call the shots but everyone is so f--king passive on this damn site.

Search through Advanced: I see my own roleplay being recycled for like the umpteenth time. I see a promising thread, but then the GM says "Oh I won't be opening the IC for about another week" ....wtf? Why even post an Int check? Everything that looks good is already established *headdesk*

Casual is filled with stupid shit.

I may as well just go into free, that's probably the only RPing I'm going to find.

This is why I stopped RPing goddamnit. That and I warn my 1x1 partners that I post a LOT 9-12 paragraphs. They start a thread with me, tell me they can't keep up and disappear. 'lofj'esifgask;lgj'lsafkjdg;lksjng;lksj;lgkj;lkjga

Seriously, a lot o f the Spam members know each other pretty well, and it looks like a lot of us want to get back into roleplaying. You guys could all come here, PM each other, whatever, and create your own idea for a roleplay between yourselves, people who you come to see regularly, you know pretty well, and pretty much want the same things you do. Make your roleplay, you can roleplay with all the people you like from Spam whom you respect, and even if there's no one who takes to the idea in Advanced or anything, you have enough people to do it yourselves. You all see each other all the time on the internet, so if it starts to die, you can talk to them and pick it up again like it's nothing.

The solution is literally right in front of us.

... yes, well, that might be the reason I never have trouble finding a roleplay to join. I rarely do it these days so checking at irregular intervals means there's always at least one thing. I'm going to roleplay now though! I made a good character and everything. Go find it in the Advanced interest check section, it's... got posts of me in it and stuff.
