My fellow male role players (both guys and those who play male characters), I have a question.

Is it just me, or does every other interest check these days seem to be desperate female who wants someone to play a dominant male character opposite to their 'pretty but shy, friendly but tempermental' female character. It's always the same kind of genres, too: they want a kidnapping role play but they won't play the kidnapper. They want a good x bad role play but they'll only play the shy girl. And they demand excellence from us, and then go on to send poorly written posts full of them controlling our characters?

I know I am a little jaded, but is anyone else seeing this?

I had no idea I was bothering people by posting these sorts of 1x1 RPs. I'll try and pull it back some in future.. Or I'll just take a turn being the kidnapper.
