    Trophy Hunt [Huntress and DSM]

"As the world looks up and says "Please help us" I look down and say with a calm voice "No" and watch it burn"

    Name: Corvo Kintobor
    Age: 32
    Appearance:
In addition, he has a substantial amount of scars on his body and back. He is also missing his ring and pinkie fingers on his left hand. The full pinkie finger is gone while only half of the ring finger is missing.

History: He makes it his business to keep his life nonexistent as he has had his fair share of betrayals. Nobody but Anna knows what his past is, but even then, she knows very little. They are not "Best friends" as some would make it out to be. He treats her as an equal, nothing more. During their travels, she asked him many questions of his past, only mentioning that he was a master tracker trained in Russia and that he was once a Cossack for the Czar, but left. He didn't explain why as they were attacked by bandits where he once again demonstrated what a Russian Officer's longsword could do. Just the condition of his face and body tells a tale of hardship and fighting. Many of the scars have a deep rooted history, especially the one running down the length of his back. His ring and pinkie fingers missing on his left hand is a subject that he says was "One of a mythical nature" when he speaks to anybody else who asks. Beven knows the truth about is however.

He is relatively quiet, his mind often on the next kill. He is far from a family man and bears a hatred for the unusual and men claiming to be "Super Natural". He is a supporter of the church and prays regularly.

Equipment: Along with his Russian Officer's Longsword, he has a pair of Russian made flintlock pistols, bullets, under armor, salves, and repair kit. All of these items are in his satchel. He also wears a stainless steel necklace with an Amethyst wolf tooth attached to it. He treasures it quite much and never takes it off. On his left hand, on the the stub of a ring finger, he wears a pure silver ring with the holy cross on it. It stays snugly on the stub.

    ___________

He and Anna stood, glued to dark gray column walls inside an old cathedral built by the church just outside of Cannock maryland. Bullets danced around them as members of a bandit gang shot at them with their seemingly endless supply of cone shaped bullets. He poked out between shots and fired his own gun, hitting a man standing behind a pew and falling from a shot to his neck. Corvo barely had time to get back into cover before part of the column broke from a bullet. He looked across the room to Anna, still hunkered down, and motioned for her to move up when he drew their attention.

He got out of cover and shot with his pistol again, drawing much of the attention of the shooters. Their target was in the back in the bishop's office, cowering as a bandit leader often does. He was a small man known to be a cunning thief and a dastardly bastard without moral. He's killed many people just for the gold in their pockets.

He drew the fire over to the right side of the cathedral and took down a few of them with his fast reloading pistols, clearing the way for Anna to move up, many tried to move up, only to meet Corvo's blade behind a corner. The corner he took lead to the bishop's personal bedroom. An excellent way to trap the bandits should they run for him. He waited for Anna to move up so they could hit the office together.

They had known each other for a long while, originally meeting on a mission in the klondike to hunt an...unusual...beast, they were both sent to kill the same beast. It was the same kind of beast that had took his fingers. It was as big as a bear and fought like a wolf. It died like any other freak however, with his sword in it's head. It had fallen through a weak patch of ice they stood on, falling deep beneath the lake waters they fought on. It nearly took them with it, but the two escaped easily. They decided to work together in the future, choosing to reap the rewards of easier killing.

The fact that they kept away from each other when it came to his past, though she was inquisitive at times, has frayed their relationship a bit. Corvo's past, especially when he was among the cossacks of Russia, was one that was far from happy. His motions, how he moved, how he spoke, how he fought. It said he had a huge amount of regret and anger. His particular hatred for the supernatural suggested something happened to him involving something supernatural.

“To protect you from the evils of this world. Scumpa mea Anna”

    Name: Anna Silvasi

    Age: 26

    Appearance: http://kbeckinsale.net/gallery/album...stills/003.jpg
    http://iiwallpapers.com/images/big/k...-wallpaper.jpg (Outfit)

Additional Notes: Anna has many scars that adorn her body. A series of claw marks run down her back. A large bite mark adorns her right shoulder. She has a few severe burn marks on her right hand. Some blade marks are scattered around her body, most distinctly, across her left thigh and down her right bicep, a couple of small slashes on her left forearm, top side; finally a small blade mark goes down diagonally from the top of her right cheekbone down to her jawline.

    Weaponry:

Primary: Silver Rapier. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...e-Morges-2.jpg (Black Handle)
Secondary: Silver throwing knives (4) http://www.hill-interiors.com/images/giant/S5526.jpg
Firearm(s): http://img.world-of-western.com/zoom/z56589.jpg (All metal parts are pure silver)

History/Background: Originally from the city of Transylvania located in the central, mountainous region of Romania; Anna was born to a family of Gypsies. She wanted to prove that she could be a ‘man’ and hunt on her own. To show that a female could continue the family tradition. She was the oldest of three daughters. Her father actually teaching her, even though he did not believe she would continue with it. Her father had gifted her with a silver rapier and a set of finely crafted, silver knives.

It was on her third job, just as she had left her family that she failed, and her life was changed for eternity. Infected with the disease or curse as some called it she began to suffer the symptoms that she knew too well. But soon she came to enjoy certain aspects of these, changes; her strength increased, her speed and stamina had become greater, her senses heightened. Abilities she could use while she hunted others.

Then her first change approached, by the end of the night she had unleashed the monster’s full potential by shedding human blood. She had become just like the people she hunted, a murderer. Something she hated and that scared her. Everything didn’t seem as grand anymore, when she changed and didn’t know what was happening or what she was doing, when she had no control. She has tried and will continue to keep the beast at bay, although shedding unnecessary amounts of blood is something she secretly has come to recently enjoy, even in the slightest.

    Scumpa mea= My sweet

    ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
Following the orders given to her Anna moved up, pistol drawn and ready to fire. She preferred the stealthier approach but sometimes the gun fights were enjoyable. Her shot was practiced, making sure she did not miss and always went for the kill. Unlike some of the gun toting idiots they fought against. The tall woman glanced over her shoulder making sure her partner was safe. Waiting within the hall to enter the bishop’s office.

With her back against the wall she moved down towards the entrance of the hall. Seeing the men shooting at her partner she raised her weapon, the silver, intricately engraved weapon shimmering in the setting sunlight. Three of the six rounds were fired. Two killing one severely injuring, a wound that would lead to death quickly. She motioned for the large Russian man to move up. Making her way to the door she kicked it in, sending the thick wooden door off it’s hinges. Gun trained on the target as she stepped into the room. Her senses opened up as she focused on the area surrounding them, sounds and smells. The man sat in his chair hands raised as he looked at her.

The sound was subtle but it gave away a lot. Turning around she fired three quick shots as three men fell from the balcony. She smirked putting her gun away since it was empty. Unsheathing the silver rapier Anna smirked as the shimmering blade was placed under the target’s chin. The man’s skin sizzled, Anna grinning at the sound. “Mmm...what do we have here...” She chuckled and moved closer, her accent thick, showing that she had only recently arrived to this part of the world.

The man winced at the burning pain. “Not a traitor to their own kind...” He spoke with pain in his voice.

“But I am not a traitor...You are a wanted man and I am simply here to collect.” The smile remained on her features. “Tell your man to—” The gun clicked and fired as the dark haired woman barely made it out of the way. The bullet grazing her shoulder and landing in the werewolf’s heart. Turning around she growled and looked for a way up, hearing him run through the cathedral she sheathed her sword and followed the sound of his footsteps. Shoving passed Corvo on her way out. Picking up the speed she glanced over her shoulder, making sure her partner wasn’t watching. stepping onto one of the church pew’s she launched herself up and onto the second floor with ease. Her timing was slightly off as the man hadn’t reached her yet.

Unsheathing her sword she walked towards the human who was fumbling with his weapon. Moving faster the fit female impaled the man as he fell onto her. Her lip twisted into a snarl as her eyes shimmered to a wolfish amber, a low growl coming from her. Pulling out the sword she let the body fall to the ground. Blood pouring out from the man’s wound. Looking down at the expanding pool of blood she swallowed hard and clenched her jaw. By the time she reached the bottom of the stairs her eyes had faded back to their natural hazel/green colour. Looking for Corvo she called out. “Are we gathering any of the other men? They’re each worth an extra 500$.” She asked as she finished cleaning off her sword, making her way back towards the Bishop’s office.

A loud banging noise from within the office indicated that they weren't going to get that extra five hundred dollars. He came out of the office, his boots covered in blood from the three others that had stormed into the office room when Anna left. He used his sword to rip off a piece of cloth from a dead body and using it to clean the same sword. There were some spots of blood on his face, he didn't bother cleaning it as it was already dirty from the fight outside. He also had the necklace that the target wore as proof of the target's death. The cathedral was quiet as he sheathed his sword and came up to the podium and placed his hands on either side of it.

Saying his piece, he dusted off the podium a little bit and stepped down. He walked passed his partner, not asking if she was "okay" or "injured" in any way. He didn't care. If she was injured, he hoped she was competent enough to patch herself up if not...well, it'll be a damn shame.

He walked outside and into the gathering rain. Bodies lay strewn across the cathedral courtyard, pinned on stones, stabbed onto crosses, splattered onto gravestones. It was a good cleanup and a good make. Another day in paradise it seemed. He went out the cathedral gate and mounted his horse. He patted her on her neck and scratched her behind her ear. She was a beautiful palomino horse named "Lily". Her front right leg was mechanical in nature due to a nasty accident caused while chasing after a target. She started to get restless as Anna walked out. The rain began to come down from the smog filled gray sky. "Come on, "Princess". Quit basking in the rain. The war wolves will smell the blood soon."

He loved calling her princess. He knew it got on her nerves.

    "
My mighty and vicious lord almighty, forgive me for I have sinned by slaughtering these traitorous men in the way I did. For as I stomped their skulls to where they caved in and pounded their organs to ash, I used your name in vain and I apologize for acting in such a trivial manner."

With no response from her partner Anna shrugged and walked out but not before looking over her shoulder and smirking at the mess they had left behind. Noticing the rain she made a face. This wouldn’t go well with her. Stepping out of the church she moved to her horse quickly and mounted it. The rain would only cause her skin to begin giving off a rather, unattractive scent. That of a wet dog. Glancing at the russian she nodded in the direction of the nearest town. “Quickly, before the rain gets any worse.” She kicked the horse slightly and started off towards the town. “We could have been making at least an extra two-thousand dollars.” She complained.

The ride to the town of Cannock wasn’t too long, a few hours at most. Unfortunately by the time they arrived they were drenched. The scent had started coming off Anna just as they entered the town. They could turn in their bounty and sleep in a comfortable bed. It had been a while since she’d slept comfortably. Slowing down at the entrance of the city they trotted in. Anna had never seen a place like this before. The city seemed unreal to her. Large structures and buildings adorned the streets, bright lights coming from signs and street lamps. She had been used to living with candle light and the light of a fire. She knew about electricity but had never seen it used, especially not like this.

“Have you ever seen a place like this?” The well toned woman asked the large Russian man. “I wonder if all American cities are like this.” She muttered and looked at Corvo’s horse, Lily as he called her. Anna met the eyes of the animal but quickly looked away as the horse made a few sounds of fear. “All we need to do is find the Marshall and then some comfortable sleep. Perhaps a drink before that.” She kicked the horse as the trot picked up and turned into a slow gallop. It was sad to see so many people on the streets begging. Carriages riding through the streets as Anna spotted out sign’s which lead to the Sheriff and Marshall’s office.

"There are cities all over the republic like this. Since the invention of the Lighting Storehouse a year ago, towns have transformed into giants. It is even spreading across Europe and Damascus due to the Lightning Storehouse's efficiency."

The city was but one of many, using the planet's resources to make living better. Using lightning rods and electric reservoirs to capture and redirect energy to the storehouses where the lightning is stored within special devices that keep the lightning "Charged" so that the wealthy and the businesses could create their weapons, food, medicine, and their "pleasures". The Republic of America was known for one thing and one thing only when it came to war, bolt weapons. The weapons soldiers use to both attack and defend use a more advanced form of "bottled lightning" to charge powerful weaponry that shoots lightning at their targets. Extremely robust, substantially powerful, and horrifically illegal to own, their bolt guns are the reason why the republic is unchallenged in the world.

They strode up to the marshal's office and Corvo went inside to deliver the necklace and to ask of any other jobs. The marshal told him of a job over in Langsberry that had come up. Some crazy bastard named Leopold had killed six dozen or so citizens over the last few years and there have been confirmed sightings of both Leopold and mangled bodies. The reward was a cool three thousand dead, two thousand alive. They wanted this man dead, not captured.

Accepting the offer, Corvo walked out of the marshal's office and told Anna of the job while they trotted over to the inn a few blocks down.

Hitching the horses in the stable next to the in, they went inside the inn to find it relatively empty besides seven or so patrons and a bartender. The bartender had a defining dark gray mustache that covered his upper lip and jowls. His hair was the same color as his mustache and wasn't remarkable. Wearing a plain white shirt and apron, his left arm was mechanical. He sat at the counter cleaning glasses, waiting for the next customer. Behind him, on the wall, were several bottles of different sodas, the most popular was a "Chuckola Cola" which was a fizzy drink concocted in the forests in Firaxis. Chocolate and cherries blended together with several other secret ingredients made a healthy and borderline addictive drink. "What can I get you" he said "We have plenty of rooms available for you and your..." He cleared his throat, noticing Anna and her tight clothing "Lady friend" Even though there have been many protests and rallies to promote women equality, and in fact laws have passed to grant women equal rights, many of them were still treated as less than equal by a high amount of the male populace. It was a subject of heated debate to say the least. Corvo figured he would let princess handle this one.

Anna chuckled as she gave the bartender a look. “It’s far from what you’re thinking.” She spoke simply and ordered a beer. “We need two rooms. Preferably not close.” She said as the bartender handed her a beer. Anna nodded in thanks and took a drink. There wasn’t much conversation going on. After a few drinks the two paid and went to their separate rooms. Amelia removed all her weaponry and placed it all on the table. Taking off a few layers of clothing she sat at the table and reloaded the revolver. Her skin sizzled as she touched the gun, every singly time she placed a bullet in. It was irritating yes, but it was something she was used to.

Placing the gun in it’s holster she rubbed the back of her neck, the claw marks and bite mark beginning to burn. The woman was starting to sweat, the heat becoming uncomfortable. Walking to the window she opened it, the cool breeze coming in and somewhat cooling her off. Anna shook her head as she leaned against the window sill. She looked up at the clearing sky, the nearly full moon shining above. She clenched her jaw and made a face of disgust as she looked up at the silver orb in the sky. Her eyes shimmered to their alternative wolfish-amber before she tore her glance away from the moon.

Leaving the window open her skin was still uncomfortably hot. To anyone else it would seem like she was suffering from a very high fever, but the process was something she was used to. It was highly irritating. Sitting back down at the table she unsheathed the rapier her father had given her. Although she had quickly wiped it while they were at the cathedral she still needed to give it a proper cleaning. Doing so she sheathed the weapon and left it where it was. Removing the rest of her clothing, her undergarments being the only thing still on she laid in the bed, stretching her body out as she smiled. She hadn’t been this comfortable in a while. Maybe she could bathe before they left. That was a thought that made her happy.

Exhaling sharply she closed her eyes, the moon’s light burning against her bare skin as she attempted to fall asleep. Tomorrow night she would change. Hopefully she’d be able to get away from Corvo. She’d have to figure something out. But for now she just wished to rest comfortably and she did. Her plotting would begin tomorrow.

Splitting up from Princess, he went into his own room and winded down himself. The room was small and had a lamp sitting in a corner along with a bed next to it and a dresser. There was barely anything other than that and the window on the other side of the room. He turned on the light and found a small bucket of water on the dresser. He cleaned the mud and dried dirt off of his skin before taking his satchel and putting it on the bed and opening it up. There was an array of various tools of death along with a small, yet elegant, ornamental metal sphere. He grabbed the sphere and held it out in front of him, clicking a small button on the side and tossing it in the air a bit. A small propeller popped out and it floated there. He took a small wire that he had in his bag, plugged it into a small socket on little thing and into a socket that was in the wall where the lamp was plugged in. A female voice emenated from it, powered by a snippet of lightning energy. "Hello Corvo. There will be a lightning storm in the MORNING that will continue through for THREE days. The MAYBERRY locomotive will be heading out of town at TEN...A...M...please acquire your tickets within the hour or you may not be able to catch a ride on the train. Do you wish for me to contact the TRAIN...OFFICE to schedule a DELIVERY...BOY to deliver the tickets to THE...DRUNKEN...RAT?"

Responding with a simple yes, he took off his coat and set it onto the bed and went to the window. Rain pitter pattered against the window, he opened it up and smelled the atmosphere. The smog in the sky had cleared up for the night because the refineries were disabled at night to conserve power. He looked around the empty street, seeing into other windows. A father reading a bed time story to his son, a woman undressing, a murder taking place, a woman being raped, the preparations for a riot. So much happening within such a small distance. Corvo had been here in this shithole of a state for a month now, being directed to idiots and freaks hiding out. Getting out of the city would do him good.

A half hour later, he would be given a ticket by a delivery boy, as would Anna. He went to bed soon after, using the socket to charge up Sklavos during the night so that she would fly with him on the train. His scars began to hurt a little bit.

He wasn't going to sleep that night.

Anna found herself waking up early to another dull day. Her mood already ruined meant she wouldn’t be having a good day. Even with the moon not shining she would be on edge, easy to anger, easy to trigger a change. Hopefully Corvo wouldn’t get to her. Sighing she got out of bed and stretched. Thankfully she was able to bathe. Getting dressed she headed downstairs and decided to eat something. The train left at ten and it was currently eight-thirty. Eating her breakfast with a quick cup of coffee she headed out to the horses. Lilly reacted strongly to her presence and Anna found herself glaring at the horse as she reared. “Shut up you stupid animal...” She muttered and mounted her own horse.

It was raining again and Anna sighed in annoyance. It wasn’t as heavy as last night, but it was enough to frustrate her. Sitting on her horse she waited for Corvo to come out so they could leave. The train station was about a fifteen minute ride. By the time they checked in and settled in the train would be leaving. Turning in the direction of the station she waited as she patted her horse gently. He was getting restless with her but wasn’t reacting as bad as Lilly. “Shh...don’t worry. I know you’re scared but you should know better than that.” She whispered in the animal’s ear as the horse snorted and shook his head. Still very worried and nervous the horse would glance at her. Anna continued to pet him with reassurance. Her patience began to grow thinner as she waited for the Russian.

Corvo came out of the bar with Sklavos in tow, floating gingerly next to his shoulder. He mounted his skiddish horse and patted her on the neck, calming her down. "I swear on the Christ's grave, Princess, if you don't stop torturing my horse while I'm trying to wake up, I'll stop apologizing to the lord for your heinous actions when you fight." He spurred Lilly and galloped down the road towards the train office, not bothering to wait up for princess while she caught up. Sklavos kept up with Corvo's horse with ease, showing that it could easily surpass the horse's gallop speed if it needed to.

He arrived at the station ahead of her and got off, heading inside the station. He commanded Sklavos to watch the horse and keep anybody from stealing her. They were in a bad part of town.

Walking in, he went straight to the counter and showed the ticket and mentioned his horse was waiting out front and that he would be bringing her along in the horse car. When he finished talking to the secretary he walked back outside and went to where his horse was. He took her by the reigns and lead her around the side of the building. He saw Princess stride up with her horse finally, but he just flipped her off and kept going, Sklavos at his side. He took the horse to one of the train cars and lead her on, hitching her next to a mound of hay so she could eat. It would take around three hours for them to reach langsberry, heading through the meadows outside of town and no doubt running over some war wolves on the way. He patted her on the head and went to his room. The Locomotive was rather high class, each passenger got their own room. Though he and Anna were sharing a room because they had the same ticket. He walked into his room and found the red velvet seat that was next to the window. He stretched out and planted his feet on where Anna would no doubt try to sit.

He grabbed Sklavos out of the air and hit her power button. She retracted her propeller and rested at his side. He then slid his sword and guns underneath the seat along with his satchel. He planned for a long nap.

    _____________

An hour later, he was still fucking awake. Couldn't sleep a wink. Anna was across from him, having shoved his legs off, smelling like she just got done playing with a bunch of dogs. He was tinkering with Sklavos, attaching little legs so she could walk around when he commanded her to instead of fly. It would be less of a strain on her power.

Suddenly, the train lurched forward and came to a halt. Screaming outside of the door of robbers on the train said that the ballerina troop was trying to pawn their wares or something. Their door opened to a scruffy man, his leg mechanical, in a dark brown getup with a bandana on. A click and a bang from Corvo's pistol caused him to fly back and hit the wall, sliding down to a stop. "Go ahead Princess. You take the earnings from clearing the train. I'll be here, tinkering." A second one tried to run in only for this brains to splatter on the wall outside the door due to Corvo's second pistol. He set aside Sklavos and reloaded them, calmly and quietly. His lips were slightly pursed as he went back to work on Sklavos, his mind completely focused on the little helper.

Anna shrugged as the two men dropped like nothing. Getting more comfortable she glanced at Corvo then to their door. “You seem to be doing fine. I don’t really think I am needed.” She laid down and watched as people ran through the car. Looking at Corvo again she noticed that he wasn’t really paying attention. Pulling out the revolver she held the gun at the door incase anyone else decided to attempt to kill the two. Unfortunately more did decide to show up. Shooting from her laid down position Anna killed the next two, four bodies piled in the small hall as people who ran through tripped and only caused more of a ruckus. Panicked civilians screamed as gunshots echoed through the train. “I hope they didn’t kill the conductor and operators. Cause I am really not willing to ride out to the town.” She spoke simply and sat up. “We are two for two; how about you do some shooting?” She raised an eyebrow and looked at the Russian.

After a few moments of silence between the two Anna sighed as she got up “I don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated by someone and I only know you for two weeks. That says a lot about you.” She spoke bluntly before moving towards the door. Hearing a gun click she stepped back as a bullet whizzed passed her face. The man who fired ran towards her. Unsheathing a blade Anna was able to grab his arm as her knee hit the man’s stomach hard. He coughed and wheezed in pain; twisting the man’s arm bones cracked, a loud scream of immense pain coming from his lungs. She winced at the loudness and kicked the man who flew through the cart. Ducking as a bullet barely missed her Anna turned around and fired at the man who had just shot at her. With a bullet between the eyes the man dropped dead.

She began moving up the cars hoping that the operators weren’t harmed. She truly did not want to ride to Langsberry. Hearing footsteps from behind she turned just in time, her bullet piercing the attackers heart. Opening the cylinder to the revolver she pressed her finger against the last bullet and unloaded the rest. Slowly reloading the weapon as she walked up to the front. Flicking the cylinder closed she entered the main operating room only to see bodies everywhere. “Dumnezeu să o dracului...” She muttered.

A sound caught her ear and she followed it. There was still two more operators alive. Rushing up to them they looked at her in fear. She shook her head. “No, don’t worry, I am here to help. Most of the bandits are dead.” She heard footsteps approach as a gun was fired. The bullet nicked her leg as she leaned out and killed the man. “All of the bandits are dead.” She continued. “Can you two still work the train?” She asked and looked the men in the eyes, hope glimmering in hers. The two men looked at each other and nodded as they met Anna’s eyes.

“Although we do need a-a driver...” One of the men said and looked at the woman in fear.

“Dracu! The driver is dead?” The one that hadn’t spoken nodded. Anna sighed. “Stay back here, I will return. Stay alive!” She demanded. Walking back to her and Corvo’s room Anna slid the door open. “Can you drive a train?” She asked eyebrow raised.

Whether you like it or not, you're in the middle of a war that has been raging for the better part of a thousand years. A blood feud between vampires and lycans. Werewolves.

Little girl, this seems to say, never stop upon your way, never trust a stranger friend, no-one knows how it will end! As you’re pretty, so be wise! Wolves may lurk in every guise! Now, as then, it’s simple truth, sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth!
