Imperial Guard only works if we get tanks. Or if we're on Cain levels of awesome. Otherwise, we're just a bunch of guys with flashlights and t-shirts.

well, why not just Imperium based? the Space Marines and Imperial Guard do work with each other a lot, along with the Sisters of Battle and Daemon Hunters.
