    and also

    *clears throat*

There is only one thing the Imperial Guardsmen are better at than The Space Marines

    dying
not really, the Guard have proven time and again to be able to perform just as well as the Space Marines, the only difference is that the Space Marines are 10 foot tall, heavily armoured Super Soldiers. the tough guys seem less tough when the weak guys can do everything the tough guys can.

my country, a fine country, a country that i would give my life to protect.

Not in my experience with the Table Top, maybe its simply because my flamers and multimeltas ass rape every idiot guard player I've ever fought

And also from my knowledge of the mythology, The Tyranids say otherwise to your statement

Though I am tired of the constant use of The Ultramarines, Their Primarch wrote the Codex, I know, so what, Vulkan wrote the Tome of Fire, which is actually a collection of hundreds of grimiores, with his own blood

Space Marines don't need have a member of their unit killed by their commanders to get them to follow orders, additionally, They know no fear

    1. Guard only succeeds with assloads of tanks, at least in tabletop.

    2. Ultramarines suck because Matt Ward wrote their last codex, which wanked them to hell. This is why I like Black Templars, they give the Codex Astartes the finger and don't resort to be space furries to do it.

*cough*Necrons*Cough* Yeah Marines have no fear what so ever.

Bleh, those were Ultramarines, I don't count them, I hate them

I'm a Salamanders player, but I will tip my hat to the Necrons, they were tough in 5th edition

XD They are still marines even if they were botched. And I do accept that Marines would fear Necrons because of Night Bringer, everyone one else is screwed.

I field a group of Thousand Sons as well as Dark Angels. I personally would be interested as well.
