Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles RP

So, some ideas have been jostling around my head, for a sort of alternate timeline Final Fantasy RP. It will more than likely take place in a world sort of like the Crystal Chronicles one, which is why I named it this. Although, you can be any race from practically any Final Fantasy game. Although you can't be any of the main, or supporting characters from the games. (This is an alternate timeline of course.)
It's going to focus more on groups and such, and a dark underlying plot. The regular monsters will all be there, but in no way will this be turn based, or anything of the like. It's up to you and your group on if you get hurt or not, although I hate over-powered character. There can be a leveling system, if you guys really want one. So here's the plot so far.

Plot

The world is just coming out of a great war between the selkies, and the lilties. Both tribes were ravaged, and the selkies managed to win with very little surviving soldiers. They took the control of the country from the Lilties, and gave control to the Clavat, who have now built a new Capitol. The Selkies and Clavat have now sworn allegiance, and will protect each others tribes no matter what. Though the Lilties are now scattered about in various camps and cities, they have formed allies as well with the Yukes. the Yukes gladly took the offer for more defense, and bodyguards. Rumors are going around that the Yukes and Lilties, might just be planning an attack on the capital city of Lionhold.
Strange creatures have been seen roaming around the countrysides, and various cities. They have been claimed to attack, and sometimes kill civilians, and will most of the time attack in groups of two to six. The strange creatures have been acknowledged by the council of the Clavat, and are hiring citizens that are willing to take these creatures down, for a handsome pay of course, and can solve several mysteries revolving around the ancient ruins to the east. Some say that the ruins are of a lost tribe, that greatly ruled the lands before. Some even say that great crystals have been found in these ruins, to those adventurers who seek fortune and fame. Caravans traveling the roads are not even safe, and will get bombarded by these creatures, and will often hire bodyguards to protect their goods.

That's all it is so far. I'm definitely going to be getting rid of, and adding new parts much later.

The Setting

The Capitol lies in the very middle of this land called Atisnum. It is full of various shops, groups, districts, and many races.
To the East, lies what is left of the Lilty tribe, and the Yuke city. Farther than that, are the ancient ruins, said to hold great power and treasure. Historians, adventurers, and monster hunters will come here often to find themselves fortune, and fame. It is also said to be the origins of these monsters.
To the North, is the great valley of Mythsir. It is home to many wild animals, and most of the farmland. This is where you will find many Clavat, and monsters roaming the roads.
In the southern lands, is a great forest, known as the forest of the great. Many Yukes, and Lilties have a ritual, or rite of passage, that one must travel through the entirety of the forest, and back within the following week. They usually go in with nothing, and come out a warrior.
To the west is a great ocean, and various hot springs that jolt out of the ground. This is the home of the Selkies, with their massive Oceanside, pirate paradise. The city is entirely constructed out of various broken ships, and wood. The Selkies love water, and beaches, so expect to see them everywhere in this warm climate.

Alright, that about does it. I will start the OOC, once we get around six to ten people that are interested. I'm hoping to have fun, and I want you guys to help build the world up, and the various districts in the cities. Since this is Finak Fantasy though, there will be random encounters with monsters if you are in a non-safe zone, meaning that as soon as you go out of any city, you have a chance of being attacked. This will be more focused on groups though. The minimum size of a group can be just two, and the maximum will be six. I will allow two groups to merge, if the situation calls for it. Like say a boss fight, or a huge battle. You guys are in charge of taking over NPC's whenever you want something. The plot is going to be heavily focused on the ruins to the east, and the uprising of the Yukes, and Lilties.

I don't know if you'd want to spoil this, potentially, but...Like Crystal Chronicles, is there going to be any threat from Miasma, any need for Crystal Caravans?

Yeah, and it would force groups to stay together regardless of character emotions. Wanna leave the group and go solo? Hope you like dying of poison.
