The Darkness Reigns OOC

The time has come. Many have died, few remain. The government was ambushed and overthrown by a group known only as "The Darkness". They now attempt to rule the world. But there are the few that remain unattached, known widely as "Rays of Light". Some travel solo, others are in small groups, but they all have the same goal; Survive another day, kill off the Dark Ones. The Darkness' goal is to rid the world of any weak people, so that only strong ones can procreate in hope of creating a New World of elite offspring.

Now, You can either join as a Ray or a Dark One.
We are in a run down city. There is no law enforcement, no structure.

Dark One characteristics:
Rich, clean, well-fed, mean, powerful

Name: Cadence Jade
Age: 19
Group (Ray or Dark One): Rays Of Light
Description (or pic): 5' 2", skinny but curvy, dark burgundy curls that fall loosely down to her waist, icey blue eyes with long dark lashes, small pointed nose and full lips
Wearing: Black camisole, black skinny jeans, black boots that lace up to her knees
Personality: sweet, funny, motherly to some, wise, vengeful
Likes: pizza, boots, boys
Dislikes: Dark Ones, stupidity, death
Background (if the character wants to give it out): Nobody knowns much except she lost her entire family to the Darkness and she is out for blood.
Quirks (tattoos, piercings, special objects, etc.): Nose and belly button pierced, ears stretched to a 8mm,Tattoos- Black Angel wings fill her back, "Love" and "revenge" in elvish on her wrists, "I refuse to sink" and an anchor across her right collar bone.
Special Ability: Swift, stealthy, can move in shadows completely undetected, sight and aim increases 100% at night as well as stealth.

Name: Neyanne
Age: 21
Group: Her past is unknown. She now works for whoever offers her money, but never takes jobs that take much time.
Description: Straight black hair, red eyes that sometimes look sad, but otherwise show no emotions at all. She's beautiful, but usually gives off vibes that tell people to stay away.
Wearing: She wears a simple dress/tunic, that is chosen to match her agile movements. Around her waist is a belt, on which several kunai (knives that could also be used to throw) are fastened.
Personality: Neyanne doesnt talk. Whether she can't, or simply won't, she doesn't. She doesn't seem to care for people around her all that much, but she is not cruel. She simply wishes to carry out her job as fast and professional as possible. Pay her to kill a person and she will, but she will not harm innocent bystanders.
Likes: Cats, worthy opponents, worthy allies
Dislikes: Groveling people, liars and beggars
Background: Unknown
Quirks: A burn scar on her back that looks like a Chinese Dragon
Special Ability: She is able to control peoples emotions and memories

Note: I like it when a rpg is interactive. That's why I don't mind if you use Neyanne in a post of one of your characters. Just keep in mind her personality (she wont speak without my consent, but you can talk to her, and write how she reacts, as long as she keeps up a rather cold composure), and don't go kill her off of course. It's okay to start fights with her (she is way too professional to keep grudges, and actually you might win her respect by standing up to her), or tell that you guys met long ago (good or bad memory, whatever you want).

Personality: Non-judgmental most of the time, open minded, conspiracy theorist, intelligent though she doesn’t lord it over people, caring, passionate

Likes: her fellow rays, fasting, meditating

Dislikes: the dark ones, the government, immaturity

Background: Lira’s parents were both government workers killed in the take over by the Dark Ones. She was young when it happened, but spent the rest of her life vowing to avenge their memory. She is an only child and has had to grow up on the streets, an orphan though she finds a home with the rays.

Quirks: A cross tattoo on the back of her neck, ‘human’ on the side of her right arm and ‘being’ on the side of her left forearm, snowflake design over the top of her bellybutton

Special Ability: Jujitsu

Name: Donny Kain
Age: 23
Group (Ray or Dark One): Dark One, but only through colaberation
Description (or pic):
Personality: A consummate liar and generally a self-serving person, he doesn't see himself as a leader type, but he's fine with just giving orders and making sure things work out for him. He can be nice, but unless it brings him something (or if he just feels like it), don't expect him to do so. Still, he's not the worse of the Dark Ones, and barely see's himself as one of them. They're simply his better customers.
Likes: Loyalty, People who pay their dues, guns, Explosions
Dislikes: Traitors, snobbish people, people who want things for free.
Background (if the character wants to give it out): Donny Kain wasn't born into the society of the Dark Ones; he and his family were clumped together with the "Ray of Light" faction, but the problem there was that, unlike some, not everyone was a total badass; Donny and his family were just normal people, and even though that had their talents, it wouldn't be enough to do something like face off a gang of thugs. So, while growing up, Donny and his family learned the arts of Weapon Crafting; with all the violence happening these days, someone's got to provide the bullets to fuel the war. Donny and his family soon brew to become rather prestigious in the wastelands, and earn a seat within the counsel of the Dark Ones. Donny himself leads a small branch of the family business, selling to anyone who has the money or can provide service. He doesn't really like the Dark One's and their Social Darwinist views, but if they money on the table and keeps him alive for another day, he's got nothing to say against them. Currently looking for some "Tax Collectors" to find some people who have been late for their dues and/or stolen from him or his family.
Quirks (tattoos, piercings, special objects, etc.): Missing his left eye after a a case of "Shot in the face". He also has a rather detailed tattoo on his back, with very little history behind it. At least, any history anyone else knows about it.
Special Ability: Has the innate knowledge to craft weapons from just about anything he can get his hands on, and has Photographic Reflexes and usually the physique to follow with it.
Weapon of choice: Explosives
