Long story short: you missed a shitstorm that went on for like the past 2-3 hours since no one was online to ban the guy responsible. Since the thread just got deleted, people are still buzzing about the incident itself, and some are rather upset that it was deleted, and some think Guru went over the line, and then of course talk comes back up about those mod promotions that haven't happened yet, hence the reasoning behind this thread.

I for one am amazed there wasn't a bit more gratefulness for Guru ending it. >>
