Biography: “Behind every great man there's a woman” and in no way is this more obvious than with the history of the one who now calls herself Sarah. Born at a turbulent time for the Roman Empire to one of the richest nobles she was married off to another who would increase their standing. As fortune, or misfortune depending on what way you look at it, would have it she had been married to one of the Ventrue clan who was also looking to expand his power and he turned her allowing her to join the rank of the fifth generation of vampires. She stayed with her sire for three hundred years but eventually he succumbed to torpor and could do nothing but lie far beneath the ground in the tomb she made him and so she left.

The time she spent with her sire was some of the best she was taught about their superior bloodline and their rightful place as ruler of all vampires. She took this to heart but spurned the way her sire took power as she thought it far too risky and decided instead to always be the wife, the one who was overlooked and despite the fact that mortals were of no consequence to her she was a little weary of the power even then. Her motto was always better safe than sorry. She spent centuries perfecting her abilities to control all around her especially those she chose to marry, many of the their names are well known in history as reaching great heights before falling Charlemagne is perhaps one of her best known conquests. She helped him reach unify all of Europe before disappearing upon his death.

Much of the one and a half thousand years of her history is unknown to all save her but some information has always floated up through history and these are but some of the activities she has engaged in. She was there during the renaissance stirring the Medici family to greater and greater heights using their power and their blood until it became her power and her blood. Several of her children were from this family as they always did amuse her greatly. She never did find much interest in the little power struggles between the two sects as she believes them to be uninteresting at best and boring at worst.

Eventually though she began to grow bored of all that went on around her. The plots and powers were no longer as interesting as they once had been and an idea began to form in her mind. Start a new life. She still remains in charge of her numerous spies, children, corporations and even governments but she has challenged herself to start anew and again work her way up using little of her vampiric powers and even less of her political and economic might She changed her face and moved to Paris and has lived there with those around her thinking her a newly changed vampire.

Also, @tech - if your character is a Keeper of Elysium, I think that they stop being independant and start being Camarilla, since that's a pretty senior Camarilla "thing"?

I will work on my character today or tomorrow. But a few questions, what editions are we playing by, as in are we playing with the meta plot of the revised edition, are thee Gangrel still in the Camarilla? And so on or are we using first or second edition or perhaps the new V20? Also for appearance can I describe my character? As I really do not like to steal art to describe him or her.

Name: Salazar Bloodson
Age: 1503 (Turned 509 AD, 6th Gen)
Sex: Male
Clan: Lasombra

Sect: Sabbat

Location: Paris, France

Appearance: Not one to be trifled with, Salazar exemplifies what was expected of from the elite soldiers of his time. Muscular, but not so bulky as others of his kind, he is both strong and lithe. He is tall (for his time), standing 6'1", and uses his total stature as a weapon of intimidation. His face is rough; square-jawed, with a lethal ruggedness, and oddly dark purple eyes that seem to glint with a demonic light. He attributes this to his sire, a vampire he claims is dead now, but did not quite fit into any of the sects that existed now; a unique independent. His hair is black, short, and straight, and his mouth is often a hard line.
In terms of dress, he often wears a silk suit with a red undershirt and a black tie, often all under a black trench coat. Oddly enough, he wears black combat boots at all times.

Personality: If there's a word to describe Salazar, it's Elitist. The combination of his Roman heritage- the most powerful empire in the old world, his age and power, and his position as a Lasombra have given him such a supreme belief in his superiority that he believes it is divine. He practically hates fledgling and young vampires simply for existing, and offers no pity to then. Humans are merely tools and slaves in his view, and he uses them as such. Despite Salazar's hate for most of the younger generations, he holds his elders at equal status to his own, and some of the younger vampires, deemed his "favorites" by others, are exempt of his prejudice.*

Combat: When fighting, Salazar uses all of the weapons at his disposal, even his inability to appear in images and mirrors (It serves as an excellent stalking tool). His powers of darkness are terrifying due to his age, and he has some experience dabbling in the other disciplines, proving him a versatile threat. One of his favorite techniques is to use blood to increase his speed and power only in the instant of contact, preserving much of the energy he would waste if he was idling. As for weapons, he carries a black spear he calls "Heartless."

Biography: Born into a wealthy noble family, Salazar Aquarius was an example of Roman aspiration; strong, quick-witted, independent, and loyal. He took a position in the military and quickly rose ranks until he became one of King Lucius Tarquinius' personal guard. He likes to brag that when the King Fell, he killed 100 armed rebels before he was overwhelmed and fatally wounded. As the king died, and he himself lay dying on the cold marble steps to the palace, a black-robed man walked up to him and stopped. "Look like the slaughter. You will make a good servant of the Lasombra," the man said, turning him on the spot and creating the monster. Still naive in the ways of the Kindred, once Salazar learned of his new identity, he changed his name to Salazar Bloodson, and began an ambitious quest to learn the ways of the ones the man referred to as the Lasombra. A mirror image of his military career, he quickly became prominent, and then settled into a routine of slaughter and constant power-struggles. About five centuries after his incarnation, he chanced upon his previously unknown sire, but he does not speak of that frequently. After what was apparently a trying and perilous episode with said sire, Salazar says that he died, but has not given a reason. This was when Heartless appeared. Following that stint, Salazar resumed his previous lifestyle, and eventually relocated to Paris in the year 1901, where he still resides today.
