    {AkiBlue & Thinker} Death Threats

"This is the fourth one this month! We can't keep pushing these off like nothing is wrong!" A hazel-eyed, and brown haired male looked up at another male pacing back an forth in a kitchen. "Would you relax Andrew...the notes are just from people that want attention." He crumbled up another sheet of paper. On the paper, in a colorful font a death threat was written. Similar to the last three that appeared on his door step.

"Look, Tyler. Unlike you, I actually care about your safety. And we'll be going on tour soon." Andrew continued to pace back and forth as Tyler sipped a cup of hot chocolate. "You're going to kill yourself with all the stressing." He spoke in a nonchalant tone. Andrew narrowed his eyes and took a breath. "You're right....that's why I hired you a personal bodyguard." Tyler only raised an eyebrow as his manager spoke. "Your bodyguard will be here soon enough."

Kent stood in jeans that hugged his well shaped legs and thin waist in all the right places, the pant legs were a little to long and covered his thick soled boots brushing on the ground. His broad shoulders were straight causing his the full six foot and two inch height to be shown. The black shirt was slightly stretched around his chest which had 'quiturbitchen' scrolled across the front.

He brushed some of his damp coffee brown hair out of his grey eyes before he shifted his weight on his left foot. A smile spread over his lips as one of the storyteller was getting to the climax of his story, the two others were laughing and shaking their heads. Clearly not believing a word of it, several were sipping at coffee that was sitting on the usual table near the doorway into the room. Phones rang on someone desk somewhere to Kent's left. "So, I am thinking she wants to get a little loving, so I get undress and open the door. Boom," the speaker laughed. "Everyone yells surprise with the birthday cake and candles the whole nine yards. I am standing there with only the birthday suit on. My granny faints and eyes are being covered."

"I don't believe a word of it," Rick said. "I know your granny she would have been running after you with her cane." The group burst into laughter and Rick received a high five.

"What about you, Kent? Got any embarrassing stories?"

"Gossip time is over," Randell yelled waving the files in her hand over her head. "Get back to work, you guys are on my time. Rain," she called waving him over.

"Got a job for you," she gave him a slip of paper. Kent eyed the name and small detail of information. "What don't recognize the name?" Kent peered at her clueless. "Go to the address and get working. The manager, Andrew, will give you the details."

Kent nodded and left the small agency, he slipped into the dark blue Titan pickup and drove home to change. This was not in the plans for today, he had only gone there to pick up his check.

Dressed in a suit with a dark tie, Kent parked near the address and let out a sigh. "Here we go," he whispered walking toward the front door. He was escorted in and soon found himself face to face with his client.

"Sir. You have a visitor." A butler watched Andrew chase Austin around with a broomstick. It was something that happened all the time. Tyler did something, and Andrew yelled at him. The butler cleared his throat and Andrew stopped and straightened out his button up shirt and tie. "Thank you." He walked over to see the bodyguard. "Ah, great you are-" Andrew raised an eyebrow. Paranoia. "How can I be sure I can trust you?"

Tyler walked behind his manager- practically older brother, and fixxed his plain red shirt. "You got my hair all mess- oh who's the big guy?" Tyler pushed his hair out of his face and looked up at him. "Hi I'm Tyler. This is my uptight manager, Andrew." Tyler leaned against him, until he was pushed off. "This is your client...but excuse his idiocy." Tyler frowned, but walked off to the kitchen. It was a business talk. Something boring.

He had forgotten about his earlier question and looked up at male. "I'll get you caught up. Tyler over there has been getting death threats-" He paused and handed him a few of the papers. "He thinks it's no big deal, but I've Ben getting worried." He further explained and then waited for the man'd response.

    Thank you Lillian!

The broomstick chasing was something he had not run into, he frowned slightly at the display. Clearly, these two were in a love/hate relationship. He glanced at the older male playing butler who was clearly a little frustrated with the scene they had walked into.

Paranoia rein supreme when someones life was being threatened. Kent was expecting this, he opened the leather folder and eased the sheet of references. They had a few minor celebrities on it, mostly actors from television, who had an obsessed fan. He handed another with the agencies logo on the letter head with the written closed lipped policies and promises each guard had been had background and drug checks. "I can be trusted," he said plainly snapping the folder shut.

Kent's grey eyes flipped to Tyler as the red shirt was being straightened. "Kent Rain," he said, he rose an eyebrow at the level of comfort the pair seemed to have. Andrew was a little more uptight. Possible lovers. It would be interesting to see how things panned out.

The idiocy comment seemed to have upset Tyler who left shortly thereafter. He would be surprised if these two were not currently or have had been lovers at one times. Some history anyway.

Kent took the crumbled up paper and read it. The client never wanted to think their lives were actually in danger, that would break their little bubble. "Any attempts?"

Andrew shook his head as Tyler walked away an then looked at the folder. "Ah, wonderful!" He led the man to a the living room. "Have a seat." He paused and thought back, about Kent's question. "There was one, but it was more like crazed fan girls overpowering the guards." Love struck girls were pretty powerful.

Tyler chuckled to himself in the kitchen as he snacked on Oreos. "Haha, Kent. Like the Barbie..." His butler, whom Tyler only knew as Sir cleaned off the table. "You should be nice to him. He is protecting you now." Tyler only smiled and nodded. He decided to return to his mean friend, and mysterious looking bodyguard.

Andrew sat down in a chair and looked at Kent, but then got up and handed him a small notepad. "This is Tyler's schedule. Morning to Night. This is this month's schedule. Each day he has a routine to follow, in order to keep him safe, and healthy too." Tyler walked in and instantly grimaced. "It's not like I follow that stupid thing...besides concert times.-" "Speaking of concerts, you have one tonight." Which was basically another way of telling Tyler to get out and get ready. "..." Tyler walked upstairs to his room, changing into another shirt. It wasn't much he needed to change into...there was no dress code.

Kent followed Andrew deeper into the plush house, the rooms were sickenly elegant and well put together. Some interior decorator's wet dream. The sitting room was arranged like it was ready for pictures in some magazine not to be lived in comfortably. Kent unbuttoned his suit jacket and sat the edge of the sofa. "I don't know much about love struck girls, I am sure they are very forceful in their own right." He didn't much like the female gender and only dealt with them when he had to.

The bodyguard took the schedule going through it, he turned the page in the notebook to find the month one. It seemed pretty self explanatory, pretty usual for someone of his fame. Personal trainers, cooks and practice times. His eyes flipped to Tyler who walked in with a confident swagger, Kent lowered the notepad, his eyebrow arched inquisitively. He straightened slightly more at the mention of a concert that evening. "What sort of security measures are you taking for this event?"

Tyler had plopped onto a couch, not caring about the neatness of the room. "Well there are the normal guards that are there for security purposes- protecting the crowd. I don't have anyone really "body guarding" me. I'm usually surrounded by people anyway- all staff or such." He shrugged. He didn't see the big deal in the situation. He had never gotten hurt before, so why would it happen now? Andrew ignored him and looked over at Kent. "Hence your job. I need someone personally watching Tyler, not just for the sake of the concert or anything." He started to speak on more subjects that the guard probably had common sense about, but his phone rang. "Excuse me." He stood and walked out the room.

Tyler blinked and looked over at Kent, not knowing what else to say. Maybe he would say something to start a conversation. "Um, so- will you be those types of bodyguards that don't speak? If so, that's pretty suckish..." One of the things Tyler wasn't afraid to do, and that was speak his mind. "Sir, could you get me a Sprite? -uh want anything...Kent?" He looked at his butler, then to his new found bodyguard.

Kent wasn't surprised about Tyler's nonchalant attitude, it wasn't going to be anything big until something happened to ingrain this threat was indeed real. His gray eyes flickered to Andrew who pointed out the obvious. He didn't think he was here to perform a ballet dance. Which would be good because he had been practicing his shooting skills not his leaps. "I understand," he stated, biting his tongue to keep the rest trapped inside.

After Andrew left, Kent shifted and straightened his back. His muscles were getting a little tense, his gaze landed on the client. "No, I speak. A lot. I have had a client who actually made me sign a paper to keep my 'fool mouth shut' while she was around." A hint of a grin kicked the sides of his mouth, he surprised the need to laugh or explain.

Kent shook his head at the offer of refreshments. "Thank you, no."

"Well that's great. I'll have someone to talk to besides everyone wanting to talk about business." He placed his feet onto the couch only to get them pushed off by Sir and then handed a drink. Tyler stuck his tongue at his childhood butler and took the drink. "Thanks." He looked over at Kent and laughed lightly. "Don't worry I won't make you sign anything that'll make you 'shut up.'" Andrew came back in and looked at the two. Business mode. "I was informed that the concert is fully packed and the front exits are too packed- you'll have to take the back exits. Which means Kent here has to take you to the concert, without being noticed." With that Andrew went on his way, planning though with a little weight lifted off his shoulders knowing that he didn't have to take him himself.

"Well dude, that sounds like our queue to leave." He sighed and walked to the door. Honestly, he didn't even want to go to the concert. How'd he become a singer anyway? Oh that's right. Random videos online and he got "discovered", he accepted it on impulse but realized he didn't really like it. Though he wouldn't tell anyone such thing like that. People would be devastated. Tyler opened the door and looked at the truck that was parked. "Cool. Let's take your car." He smiled and walked outside casually, not seeing anyone around.

    Thank you Lillian!

The orders were given and Kent rose to his feet a little shocked at the curtness of how it ended. "But," he said, all his questions about the position were still not answered. He had no idea if this was a full detail or just during the day. If it was during the day what time he was to be expected. He glanced at his well worn watch and sighed.

Kent dropped his hand and blinked at Tyler and followed the other out. Kent grumbled under his breath and found his keys to unlock the doors before they reached it. His eyes darted about the small parking lot seeing little or not danger at the time. He opened the door to the back seat removed the two duffle bags that were sitting neatly on the back seat and lifted the bench, he unlocked a box that was bolted to the floor in the compartment. He peeled off his jacket and slung on a holster before opening the smaller box. He lifted the gun and slapped a clip and chambered a bullet before flipping on the safety stuffing it in the holster. Wiggling the jacket on he grabbed another clip and shut the box and locked. Bench down and the bags were on top of the seat once again.

Kent slipped behind the wheel and started the truck, he dropped his phone in the cradle near the radio. He poked a few buttons and a call was made. "Hello," a feminine voice said trying to sound very deep and man like. "Darling, are you coming home?"

"Client in the truck," he said putting his hand behind the seat and backed the truck out of the parking space.

"Oh," the voice giggled clearly a young teenager. "Hello, Mr. Client."

"I won't be making it for dinner," he informed her and navigated out of the parking lot onto the street to head to the concert hall.

"But you promised," she whined. "I am making your favorite, pepperoni pizza."

    "Sis, I have work."

"I don't like you anymore," she sang. "Call me later." Kent cleared his throat as the phone screen blacked out.
