Tyler curiously watched Kent take a gun and put it at his side. He said nothing of it, and leaned back in his seat. He looked out the window, but listened to the sound of a woman's voice on the other end.
"Hi lady!" He called back and laughed lightly before turning his attention to the window. He yawned lightly and looked over out the window again.

"So Kent~ anything else you need to know before we continue this journey of ours?" He spoke, continuing to look out the window as though in thought. Tyler's phone rang, but he silenced it. They would automatically call Andrew afterwards.
"And uh sorry about keeping you from your dinner...?"

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent tugged the seatbelt hugging his chest, glancing at speed gauge as Tyler spoke. "A lot of things," he answered, stopping the truck at a red light. His gaze flickered to the phone in Tyler's hand as he ended the call. This fellow seemed so very uninterested in life, he foresaw being bored to tears.

"Don't worry about it," Kent said, when the light turned green the truck moved forward keeping pace with the traffic around it. "My little sister understands that I have to work, we will eat pizza another night."

His mind went back to the business at hand. He was assuming it was just a day job, but he had been surprised before. "I need to know if this is a full detail or not," he glanced at his client. "Do I stay at your house during the night, I mean."

Tyler tapped his fingers on his pants, making a small rhythm. "Well as long as she knows. Though it is still a shame she has to eat alone." He sighed and nodded.
The next question was a bit difficult to answer- seeing he was sure himself. "No, no. I'm sure you have right to your own home when night comes." Having a bodyguard day in and out sound so tiresome. For the bodyguard that is. He was sure the man had a life of his own and didn't want to waste it away.
Then again, his guess was normally wrong. Anything he'd pick, Andrew would pick the opposite, sometimes it seemed on purpose. "Yeah, I'm sure of it. You don't have to stay all night." He nodded, reassuring himself.

Now it was just the matter of waiting to get to the concert. To get in~ and then head out. Nothing more, nothing less. All the talk of death threats and protection only made him annoyed, so he tried not to think about it.

    Thank you Lillian!

"She doesn't eat alone, she has our parents," Kent corrected, his sister was far to young to be on her own. He turned down the last stretch of road before the concert hall which was inching slowly due to the many people trying to pack into the place. He was sure the parking garage was already packed and any other parking space, legal or otherwise was taking for miles around.

"Okay, it is a little odd, you guys must feel your house security will protect well enough then," he glanced at the bags he had packed just in case. "I'll do a walk through to make sure nothing is hidden before I leave then." He stated with a nod, it would make him feel better at least. He finally was able to inch to the off shoot that would take them to the back of the hall, he drove nearly fifty feet before he was waved to be stopped.

He pulled the pickup to a stop and a security guard walked to the driver side door. "Sorry bub," the man said when the window rolled down. "Just staff and VIP guests go back here."

Kent thumbed to Tyler with a smile. "VIP." His name was taken and they were waved through. The truck was parked and he slipped out walked around to meet Tyler to follow him into the craziness of the concert world.

    Exclamation

"Oh." Was his only response to the statement at hand. His attention turned to the nearing concert. The screams of fans already audible. "Oh joy." He said sarcastically and got out of the pickup truck when it came to a stop.

Tyler waved when Kent pointed to him. They walked in, and the craziness only seemed to get louder. He turned to Kent to give his thanks, but was instantly swept away by people, preparing him for his performance. The only thing he could manage was a yelp, before disappearing with the crowd.

Andrew stared at a clipboard and again paced backstage. Not paying attention to where he was going, he bumped into the man. "Oh Kent hi- oh Kent! You're here! Good, where's Tyler? Was the trip here okay? He didn't give you any problems did he?" Andrew bursted with questions. Did he ever calm down? By the way he was going, that was probably a no.

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent quickened his pace to follow the horde surrounding Tyler. He watched the man being bombarded by people fixing his hair, finding the perfect outfit for him to wear and talking to him over the general noise of the rest of the chaos that was streaming about the backstage.

Most of these people seemed to be out of the realm of reality in their hair and clothing styles. This line of business apparently allowed for strange and wacky to be the norm. The sound check was happening on stage an undertone of the screaming crowd. Kent was glad he wasn't not going out on the stage, he was a guy for crowds unless it was tucking a client to safety.

He was able to wiggle close enough to be protective as a bodyguard if anything was to happen. He felt something bump into him, he glanced over to Andrew who seemed to be pulling himself out of stupor. He pointed to the signer nearby. "It was a five minute drive," he said with a frown. "Hey, is this a full detail? Do you need me at the house during the night?"

Andrew blinked at his question and then quickly shook his head. "No! I-I mean, no of course not...you have a family to get to. I'm sure you don't want to stay all night with the kid." He bit his lip nervously, but quickly turned his attention away from the bodyguard. Obviously hiding something.

Above the noise, Tyler's voice could be heard yelling at a wardrobe person only to be heard. "I refuse to wear that. It's hideous." He shook his head at anything with frills, fur, or of the sorts. He was called by the stage director. "You're on in five!" He made his way toward the stage, in a normal attire. Like he wanted to. Nothing crazy.

He looked back, seeing his bodyguard never too far behind. Tyler only nodded an smiled at him, before turning away to be greeted by screaming fans. And the concert began.

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent's eyes narrowed at the strange answer he received. "I am single," he said slowly trying to figure out what Andrew was getting at. "I have had details that lasted months without going home once. It isn't." His sentence was cut off by Tyler's shouting, he stepped forward to muscle in and force the wardrobe manager to back off.

Kent returned the nod and smile. Someone handed him earplugs on their way by as Tyler started entertaining the crowd, Kent stuffed the objects in his ears and was suddenly grateful to whomever invented them. Without the blaring noise and constant scream of the crowd he was able to concentrate on the surroundings. He was getting use to the faces of the ever shifting staff as they worked to give the best show possible behind the scenes. He was surprised so much went on in the backstage.

He stood like a statue waiting and watching for any hint of danger that would threaten the life of his client.

The performance lasted for at least an hour or so. There were a few others performing, fortunately, so he didn't have to stay for the full however long the concert was. Most of his songs were pretty upbeat, and the "traditional" love songs that made the fan girls go crazy. Other songs were more fun and just something to dance to.

When the performance was over he waved a goodbye to the audience as he walked off stage. All of the loud sounds made him loose hearing for a quick second, but it soon came back. A water bottle was given to him and he gratefully took it.

He dodged and weaved through the crowd, nodding at the congratulations and other praise. He walked over to Kent and grabbed his arm, pulling him along toward the exit. Home free.
It wasn't until the noise had been muffled did he stop and look at Kent. "And how was your first day on the job?" He smirked lightly.

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent was not use to be manhandled, he allowed it when the singer bee lined to the exit. The door banged behind them, he pulled the earplugs out and rubbed them. He was about to reply when a familiar bang was heard and a bullet hit the painted brick wall behind them five inches from Tyler's head.

Instincts kicked in, first get client to safety. Kent grabbed the singer around the waist and shoved him toward the half brick wall around the dumpsters. The nearest object that would be safe to hide behind and wouldn't trap them with no place to retreat if the gunner changed positions. Two more bullets slammed into the wall of the concert hall following their path of escape. Shooting moving targets was harder, Kent knew that from experience. The shooter wasn't well trained in the weapon he had or they both would have been dropped. A plus for them.

Kent released Tyler and turned freeing his weapon before slamming his back against the wall. His free hand moved out and rested on Tyler's body to keep him from moving. "Three," he whispered. "Hopefully, he doesn't have another clip." He peeked around the corner to the space that the shooter was concealed.
