Kent enjoyed every bite of his food and pushed his plate away from him as he leaned back on the booth. "That was so good," he announced, glad he couldn't cook that well or he would be a marshmallow. He didn't finish his beer, he was going to be driving and thought it best not to be doing more than he should. He planned to maybe peek at Tyler's view, see if he wanted to talk anymore. If not he would go home and find something to do.

His hand rubbed his healed wound out of habit, he waited for Tyler to finish as he sipped at some water. The waiter returned picking up empty dishes. "Can I tempt you with some pie or ice cream for dessert?"

Tyler finished and smiled, pushing his empty plate away from him. "I do agree. I should come here again some time." Tyler started to ask something, that is until the waiter appeared. He frowned a little, but looked at the waiter. "Ah, no I'm full, no dessert for me.." He looked over at Kent shyly and ignored the waiter for the moment. "But I was wondering...if you'd want to come over...maybe, if you have spare time, and take a walk on the beach? Or, I could make cookies..." Tyler tapped his chin in thought, wondering which would be better. Being inside would give them a chance to be closer together...but going out meant they could see the sun setting- if they made it there in time. "But if you have to get back to work- maybe another day?"

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent declined the offer of dessert, the check was left on the table. He pulled his wallet out and stuffed a card inside and put it on the end of the table. He had forgotten to grab some cash, not that it mattered, he had plenty on the card. "I would like to see your view," he said. "I am not sure if I am up for a walk on the beach tonight. I would think your fancy place as a balcony of sorts we could enjoy tonight." That would just be weird if a new building like the condos didn't have balconies. He hadn't paid attention to that much of Tyler's place. It might be one of those odd ones that didn't have them.

"I don't have to be back until Monday so, if you are planning to kidnap me then I might have to be a willing victim in this ruse."

The waiter swung by and disappeared for a few minutes before returning, Kent signed the ticket and left a nice tip for the waiter. He stuffed the card in his wallet and smiled at Tyler. "Ready?"

Tyler smiled happily and nodded. "What kind of condo doesn't have a balcony?" Tyler giggled lightly and then scooted in his seat. "I so happen to have one with a really good view." He said proudly and then laughed again. "Sure. I'll kidnap you for an hour more or however long you'd prefer to stay. In happy either way." Tyler said and then slid out of his seat after Kent paid. This time, Tyler was leading Kent back to the car in quite a hurry. When they stepped outside, there was a cool breeze making Tyler shiver some. "Yeah I wouldn't have wanted to stay outside anyway." He shook his head and then headed to the truck.

    Thank you Lillian!

"Right," Kent stated with a chuckle, he moved out of the restaurant wondering why Tyler was in such a hurry. He kept up the pace as he slipped his wallet in his pocket. The cold raced over his flesh and he unlocked the truck and slipped inside the cab and started the engine. Once Tyler was in and the door shut, he pulled out of the parking space and headed for the condo building. The same space stood open in the visitor section, he parked the truck and grinned at Tyler.

He was eager to see this spectacular view. "Lead the way," he said wiggling his eyebrows at Tyler before slipping out of the truck.

Tyler grinned and tapped on his lap as he waited for the car to stop. Why was he so eager? Tyler didn't even know, but when the car stopped he jumped out the car and walked over to Kent to pull him along again. "Let's go then!" He felt like a hyper active little kid for a second, which cause him to slow down. Tyler led him up the stairs and into his condo. It wasn't much. The house was decorated in a white, black, and red style. All of it seemed untouched, or perfectly clean. Tyler ran a hand through his hair and looked around. "Ah...my place." He paused to give Kent time to catch up.

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent's hand was taken and he was escorted with the delight he had only seen once in Tyler. He was just as eager to see the sights as Tyler was to show. The place was spotless, the black, white and reds were blended well. Whoever decorated had a good eye. It was a stark contrast to his own apartment, which had well used furniture beige carpet and blinding white walls. He had gotten a few pictures to disrupt the walls when he was healing because he grew tired of wearing sunglasses inside.

He kicked off his shoes out of habit, his mother would not tolerate shoes in the house. "It is nice," he walked deeper into the abode taking in the sites. His eyes brushed over possible hiding places and other things he automatically noticed when he entered a new place. His job had completely ruined him in that way. He stood halfway to the balcony door and turned to Tyler. "You really found yourself a nice place."

"It's not much. Just something manageable." Having a guest in the house made everything seem...less then perfect. Everything was dirty now, and it wasn't suitable for living. Tyler bit his lip and looked around. "Ah, yeah..." He wasn't so sure about showing him anything now. "Well...I'll show you the balcony." Tyler slipped out if his shoes, sitting them to the side.

He walked outside to the balcony and pointed out to the view. They were just in time too. The sun was in the midst of setting, the reflection if the orange an pink hues shining on the water.

    Thank you Lillian!

Kent followed Tyler to the balcony, the salt heavy air and constant breeze played against his thin cotton shirt and hair. He rested his forearms on the railing and took in natures color display. "Wow," he said, he could see for miles of the endless waves. The crashing of the surf was instantly relaxing. The seagulls appeared to be hanging in the air as they worked the wind searching for food. Other birds were milling about the sands near the lapping water. It was a way better view then his, the back of another building.

He licked his lips tasting the salt, he grinned with contentment. "Wow, this is completely amazing." He couldn't really bring words together that would sum up this moment. It was like a scene from a movie or something, he forgot how breath taking the ocean was. Living so close to it he didn't get out to see it as much. That he wanted to correct in the future. The mountains were his heart was completely, the ocean was a nice second. "You are one lucky fellow, Tyler. This is amazing."

Tyler let Kent take in the view and he leaned against the rail. "It is pretty nice." He smiled and looked over at Kent. It only made him smile more to see the awe stricken face Kent held. "It's even better when you get to see the dolphins...but I'm not sure they'll be out tonight." He sat up and stared at the endless ocean. It was kind of funny seeing Kent speechless, maybe now be understood how Tyler felt at times.

Tyler shrugged at the lucky comment. It might have been nice, but it was still pretty quiet. And occasionally became a routine. Tyler tapped the rail and shivered lightly again when another cold breeze passed. "I'm glad you like it." He straightened up and looked over at Kent again. Why was he so...different from everyone else? How was it that Kent was able to make him laugh, smile, and talk so much? And yet being the naive person he was, Tyler didn't know the word for it. "I'm going to make lemonade. Want some?" He asked, yet didn't seem to wait for an answer. "Feel free to stay out there." Tyler said and walked off to the kitchen.
