Victoria began working on the name plate for Flash. When she finished, the beautiful calligraphy stood out. She exited her room, grabbing her keys and jacket. She pulled her jacket on and ran out to the stables. She spotted Felix, petting Flash. She grabbed the fod bag, and filled his pan. "Hey." She offered a smile to Felix and checked the water. Flash whinnied, and she slowly placed the name plate in its spot. She entered the stall, motioning for Felix to enter as well. "I'm Victoria, ths is Flash." she introduced.

Felix turned when she heard another girl speak. "Hi. I'm Felix, and that white mare over there is Lady Godiva, my horse. Flash is very pretty," she answered, giving a small, polite smile. Though she declined the offer to enter the stall, she continued, "Are you a first year, too?" This would be a good way to make friends. After checking the time on her phone, she noticed that it was 5:59 PM. As the numbers changed into 6:00, Miss Elizabeth's voice came over the loudspeakers. "It's dinner time. Today we will have a campfire social for everyone to meet. Please head over to the cafeteria."
Felix looked at the other girl and said,"C'mon, then. I guess that's our cue to go. We can talk more at the cafeteria."

Flash whinnied in thanks, nudging her softly. She smiled slightly and patted Flash's nose. "No, I'm a second year. But I've got no friends." She shuddered and looked down, listening to Lady Elizabeth's speech. "Yeah I guess so." She slowly ushered Felix out of the stall, and closed it behind her, locking it and pulling her lanard on over her long blue hair. "I'll be back boy." she murmured, kissing his forehead and following Felix out of the stable silently.

Felix smiled and walked towards the cafeteria, just in front of the stables. She slowed her pace slightly so that she could fall into step with the other girl. "So how come you haven't got any friends yet?" she asked. Rude or not, it was a question burning in her mind that had to be asked. Shielding her eyes with her hand, she glanced up and saw that only a few students had made their way over to the cafeteria line.

Victoria flinches at the sudden question if the girl she had just met only minutes ago. "Well....People think I'm too....'loud' if you get what I mean. My hair is to insane, and I'm kinda a bit gothic you could say. And before you ask, I was born with blue hair. Amazingly rare? I know." She went silent, her eyes trailing over the few students in the cafeteria.

Felix pursed her lips in consideration, then shrugged. "I don't know you well enough to judge. But hey, wanna eat dinner with me?" she asked. Heading over to the line, she grabbed a tray and started scooping spoonfuls of aromatic food into her plate.

"Sure." she mumbled, grabbing a plate and spooning the foods on. She wasn't really hungry, but might as well force some food down. She made her way to a table, setting her stuff down and sitting down herself. She stared blankly down at her food.

Felix sat down across from the other girl and started eating. She tried to eat as quickly as possible so she could get back to the stables, then thought better of it and slowed her pace when she realized that there were still quite a few hours until curfew. "I'm going to ride around the woods after dinner. Want to come with me?" she asked Victoria.

Victoria bit her lip, prodding at the food with her fork. "How about I meet you there? I'm not really hungry and...." she shrugged slightly, and stood up. "I'll see you at the stables ok?" She dropped the food in the trash and left, running to Flash's stall. She hugged Flash's neck when she arrived. "What do I do Flash? I'm not good around others...."

(Oh god.. I'm really sorry. My mom blocked access to this site on my laptop and I barely ever get to use the desktop..)

Felix nodded and quickly finished eating her dinner. She threw the disposable dinnerware away and placed the tray on top of the trashcan, then ran to the stables as fast as she could. Once she reached Godiva's stall, she called out a greeting to Victoria and grabbed the mare's halter and lead rope. Felix entered the stall and put the halter on the horse, then led her out to the cross-ties. Once Godiva had been secured in the ties, the girl headed to the tack room to grab her supplies.
