I need to get out of here. Roy thought as he left his current job as a janitor at a big corporation downtown. It paid well, but it was also quite labourous as well, despite having the blood of a wolf going through his veins. In all honesty, he wanted to do nothing but run through the sureounding forest and feel the wind flow through his gray fur. Despite this fact, it was something that he didn't enjoy by himself. I could really use some coffee right now... Up ahead, he spotted the very popular and always busy Corner Store Cafe. He used to come here more often but it got hard to do after working for nearly ten hours straight and only wanting to go back to his apartment after that. Finally, though, he'd have a chance to buy his favorite type of drink from here again: coffee filled with a ton of sugar and creme.
As soon as he walked inside, though, the distinctive smell of a half human, half wolf like himself filled his nose. The scent trailed off to somewhere near the back of.the room and he eyed it wearily. He could be a friend or foe. After glancing one more time in that direction, Roy walked off and took a seat at an empty table then caught the attention of one of the waiters. "Yes, may I have some coffee please?" The woman nodded and scribbled it down on her notepad before walking away. Now, I just have to locate this other wolf-- the boy was startled oht of his thoughts as there was a loud thud behind him. Turning around, he noticed that it was him. The wolf. Everyone was staring at him, so he decided to help one of his own kind. "Hey, buddy! You're still as clumsy as ever." Roy said with a grin as he walked over to the guy and helped him to his feet. "How you been? I haven't see you since middle school. Come. I have a seat over here." By that time, people had returned to doing whatever they were doing before.
