@Scarlet: I think, as far as Rachel and Silus's relationship, she'd know of him just because everyone does (he's sort of hard to miss), but he probably wouldn't know her because she isn't all that flashy and doesn't draw much attention to herself. They probably wouldn't have ever formally met. Unless Silus is the sort of guy who likes to know absolutely everyone; then they'd probably have met and talked before but never became best friends or anything, because Rachel is friendly and all but not super outgoing.
