Dear Diary,
Today feels different. It's like something is gonna happen. Though, wether it's good or bad, I'm not sure. Though, it's Monday, the day of new beginings.

Olivia closed her diary looking out the window. Today, is a new day. She looked up to the sky. I love you mom, dad. She thought silently to heaven. Olivia sighed putting her diary down in a loose floor noard before getting up and heading to the bathroom to get dressed before Elena throws a fit.

Stefan Salvatore arrives in mystic falls. His place of birth, his home. Somewhere he hasn't seen in a while. Too long. It was good to be back. He arrived at his old home. It was a place of memories. Some good, some bad. He knocked a few times. To be greeted by his Nephew Zach. Whom he had to pretend was his Uncle to the outside world. "Welcome home" Zach said, letting him in. Before he shut the door. He looked around. Where Stefan went. Damon was likely to follow. He was happy no Damon was in sight. "What made you come back?" He asked, walking to pour a drink. "First day of school" Stefan replied. Smiling and taking a sip of the drink. He walked around the house, looking at the pictures of his family over the years.

Olivia snuck downstairs in black tights, light green long sleeve shirt which was paired with a leather vest. Also a belt and her knee length combat boots. She was quiet as she knew everyone was in the kitchen. She quickly made a run to the door glad no one heard her as she left. She then began her ride to school thanks to her car. A classic '67 Chevy Impala, black.

The gentle lulling of the bus would have been comforting if it wasn’t for the incoming wave of students, constantly passing her by. They were all a walking, talking temptation that begged Cassidy to just loose it, loose it and sink her fangs into their neck letting the rich liquid poor down her throat. It was quite uncomfortable sitting on this small bus, crowded with students, but worst of all was the small, shy, browned haired girl with black horn rimmed glasses sitting next to her. Closing the space between them she took a deep breath, nearly tasting the sweet savory sweat that coated the girl’s neck, she was nervous and her heart was fluttering away. Was she aware of what was happening or was she simply anxious of crowds?

Feeling familiar changes lacing her features gave Cassidy one split second of clarity, and hindered her from sinking her fangs into this poor girl only to rip her apart, it seemed to be what vampires did. Whenever she dared herself to feed, which had only happened a handful of times as she desperately clung to her old humanity; she always lost control and ended up ripping them apart. Catching a glimpse of herself in the window she hissed. She looked terrible, due to the obvious she hadn’t dared to feed, besides those few times she had been forced to survive on critters. Luckily her old apartment building was infested with the stuff, smelly infested rats. Yeah she had fallen so low that during the nights when her mother was sleeping Cassidy was rat hunting in the basement, throwing herself at anything that moved.

As more and more people passed her she started feeling dizzy, her vision blurred and it felt as if acid was poured down her throat. A pressure built in her chest and she started gasping for air, earning herself the undying attention from the students surrounding her. “Excuse me…” She muttered, digging her nails into her arm in an attempt to control herself. She couldn’t wait for the bus to stop and when it did she darted out and down the street, running toward the one place she should run from, the school.

Olivia pulled into the school parking lot. She parked directly in front of the school in a luckily empty parking spot. She cut the engine putting her keys in her bookbag. She stepped out the car walking towards the school.

Stefan looked at the clock. It was time to head to school. Yeah he could have drove. But why miss out on the old beautiful town he hadn't seen in a while. He decided it best to walk. Meet descendants of the people he grew up with. It was a pleasant town. Only a select few knew of the dangers. Many did not. He preferred it that way. Not as many people who suspect him. The relative new comer in town, until they know he was a founding family member. A short walk later and he stood at the gates of the school. The size, and volume of people was a major difference, from the school he went to back in his day.

Cassidy somehow felt more at ease in this town then she did her own, sure enough she and her mother had lived in a rat infested, rundown apartment but it had been alright, she had been popular, had many friends and often spent her time handing out with her boyfriend, she had even been next in line for head cheerleader but then all of a sudden it had all been taken away, by a dark haired mystery man and yet this seemed better then home. She rolled her eyes, and ignored the students that was staring her down. No wonder she looked like shit, inhuman even.

Cassidy struggled down the street as she rounded the corner only to see a huge school, cliques gathering outside on the lawn. She looked around as she walked, seeing girls hugging, crying and chatting. There were several girls who looked her over as she continued into the school and down the corridor, they looked either confused or had a haughty look on their face as if they were better than her. One thing was certain she had to find a way to control herself and her hunger, then she had to fit in, maybe she could start a life, get some friends and try again although she was more likely to slaughter her entire class first.

Catelle walked up to the Salvatore boarding house. She knocked on the door, out of politeness, before trying to enter it. But to no avail.
"Damn it." She muttered, looking around her. The house must have changed hands since she was last in it.
"Stupid Salvatore's." She said, making her way back to her car.

Tamara heard her alarm go off, as she stood up her bed going to the bathroom fixing herself up for school. As she did, she brushed her hair walking back to her room, putting on her school clothe. She grabbed black skinnie jeans, with brown short boots heels and a brown tanktop with a black jacket. She grabbed her bag walking outside her house , and walking to school. Her school was three blocks away from her house, as she walked she saw students on the front of the school laughing and talking. Tamara sighed flipping her hair, crossing her arms close to her chest as she walked to the front of the school.

Olivia walked into school mentally tired. She put on a fake smile and said 'She's fine' alot in just 5 minutes. Olivia arrived at her locker glad to be alone.
