    Hidden in the Scraps

The night was young and cold. Its wind bitter and unforgiving. It licked at Tabitha's open skin to make it tingle all over. Under her breath curses were spit against everything and anything. First came the weather, it's horrid nature simply making this task even less appealing. Next was the people she worked for, shameful bastards with ill intent for all. Finally, her mood caught up to her current partner for the jerk he was to not arrive with her. No, instead she had to wait in the terrible cold. Little things could make her feel better. Yet, one amusing idea came to mind. It was to take the hold on her own. She held Vince and Vain on her hips, the sister guns were all she needed. That spineless lollygagger could catch up later.

Removing the weapons from their holster, Tabby stepped back into the darkness. Her swift feet tiptoeing their way along the backstreets until they came upon a short window. It was barred with wood but voices could be heard beyond it. Deep voices roared and whispered. They discussed simple things, such as who won the last match of cards or which person was more cunning. It was simple and useless. Yet, she waited. Her ear close to the wood as they continued to discuss. She was waiting for a word, a simple word made in reference to a certain term. 'Scaps' the word rang as one of the men roared about their tidings. She waited a moment longer, trying to find further proof that the hint the company had given them was true. Then the word came again about who would feed them. "Lock and key, here we go." She whispered to herself with a crooked grin.

Gripping her guns tightly, Tabby used the butt of her left gun to break in one of the wooden boards while, without a second breath, began to aim through the small opening and fire. The men, in turn, began an uproar. They scrambled to their weapons, some aiming for the window, others moving to the door and hoping to cut her off outside. She had hit and killed at least five, while wounding around three before carrying herself away from the broken window and around the back of the building. There were more than a dozen left, she deemed, cutting down two more that trickled out of the back door. She followed their route into the building, confronting one man that came at her with a knife. He nicked her left thigh but he took a shot at point blank range to the gut. His blood painted the walls and her smile before she disappeared through a door and pressed herself against the wall, waiting for another victim to come running in.

(Without the face paint and blonde hair instead of raven colored.)

    6:30 A.M.

Andrew woke up feeling a little bit different than usual, he reached his hand up towards his head, rubbing it as he laid back down. His eyes stared up at the ceiling as he then looked around, something wasn't right, something was a bit off. With a shrug of his shoulders, he got out of his bed and went into his bathroom to do his daily routine of brushing his teeth and taking a shower. His body was now renewed and refreshed, he came up out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around him. Andrew laid out his clothing for the day, which was nothing more than a all black t-shirt, black pants and a trench coat. He went over to his closet and grabbed a shoe box, which had his twin pistols locked and loaded up. He kissed them then placed them in his hip holster then covered them up with his trench coat, he put his shoes on and went downstairs. Andrew ran his fingers through his blonde locks and stared into the mirror, his blue eyes staring right back at him.

While staring in the mirror for about five minutes, he was outside, getting inside of his car, which was a Camaro. He revved up the engine, which always made his neighbors upset, then he eased out of his driveway and got onto the road, where he would smirk before speeding out. The road was his and his alone, even though there was other cars and people on the road, he didn't care about them though. He made a stop at a secret location, where he had to met with his dealers. He was in then he was out. It didn't really take too much time for their meetings. Next thing you knew, the building exploded as Andrew was getting inside of his car. "Oops!" He said before cranking the car engine back up and driving away from the scene.

    Later That Night...

Hours have now passed and Andrew took the car back home, he was now walking the streets, humming a tone to himself. "Ah, the bitter cold of the night." He loved cold nights, just like tonight. A soft wind blew and it made his body tingle, chills even went up his spine. He entered a building and clocked his pistols. "Time to get to killing boys." But before he even knew it, shots were already being fired. He rolled out of the way and just watched the display then seen two men go out the back door. He heard bodies falling on the ground. Andrew got up off of the floor and walked right on pass the now open door, seeing five dead bodies. "Impressive." He said while the smell of blood crept across his nose making him smile a little. He walked throughout the halls and felt someone behind him, before he could even react, the person had their arms around his neck. Andrew was gagging and losing his breath but he ran back into a wall, making the male break the hold. He caught his breath then gave the male a spinning kick to the gut, sending him back then quickly pulled one of his guns out of the holster and placed a bullet in his chest. He fell to the ground, his boots echoed throughout the halls as he went over to the body and knelt down beside it, shaking his head. "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk." He then rose up to his feet and turned heel, seeing Tabitha standing there. "Looks like you got to have all the fun. No fair, Tabby, no fair." He said while shaking his index finger from side to side.

Tabby spent her time waiting with her ear against the wall. She could hear the scuffling of a few men as they ran about, telling each other to search the backstreets. She knew it wouldn't take them long to figure out she was in the building now; however, there was a moment to spare, especially when that moment held the sound of a familiar voice.

Tabby didn't dare move from her spot. Instead her interest was fully taken by how things would fall. She had a hope, a cruel one but a hope all the same. Then, as she could hear movement and the sound of inner throat chocking, Tabby rolled herself from the wall and moved through the threshold of the door. She wore smug grin, pleased at the view. Her hope was there...until the man made his move and over threw his foe. It made her grin droop into a ghost of a smirk as she answered, "If things were fair, you would have just been killed. Some should pay for making me wait, especially in the cold. You know I hate the cold. Makes my shoulder sore." The end was a bit of a snap as she eyed him up and down with a glare before turning around.
She could hear the scuffling of more feet coming from back entrance. Readying Vince and Vain, the girl jumped to beside the back door and waited. Soon two more men would come charging in. Tabby would gun the first one down and shoot the second in the knee. The man cried in agony before spilling onto the ground. ”Speak dirt. Where are the scraps?” Her face was serious now. Her golden eyes stared straight at the man with her gun loaded and ready, a few feet from his head. ”Why so quiet? If that’s what you want, I could cut out your tongue and feed on it. We scraps love human meat.” It was just a rumour, but usually an effective one – especially when told with a bit of a laugh. Still the man didn’t speak.

”You sure that’s what you want? I can play these games too.” The woman moved slightly closer to the man before he cried out, ”We ain’t got no kids here. No kids.” The woman smirked, this time pressing Vain against his temple, ”Kids? Who said anything about kids? Unless you know something you shouldn’t. Please, go on.” In turn, the man simply shook his head violently and bite his tongue. Tabitha fired off Vince, piercing the man’s other ankle as he shrieked in pain. ”There’s still, what? Seven of you? If you don’t tell, I’ll make sure one of them do and they’ll come with this much sound.” The man shook his head quickly back and forth. That was it. Tabby let Vain go, and the man was dead. With a bit of a smug smirk, Tabby turned to partner with a shrug, ”Guess it’s your turn, killer.”

Andrew watched the display that Tabitha was giving the men, he smiled with pleasure then shook his head. She was so harsh towards them. Andrew folded his arms and leaned up against a wall, watching Tabitha demand answers. If she didn't get them, she shot. And that was exactly what she did. Andrew got up off the wall and dropped his arms and hands down to his side, while walking past Tabby. "Let the master show you how it's done." He whispered in her ear then smirked as he continued in walking.

He heard mumbling and cackling coming from a nearby door. Andrew spun and reached his leg out, giving the door a kick as it had done open. "Okay guys..." He said, walking in with his hands up in the air. "No need to fear, cause I am here." He laughed then pulled out his twin Pistols, aiming them at every individual. One guy reached for his gun but Andrew shot him in the hand, without even looking. "No one tries what your friend just tried, or you all die. Got it? I am just for some answers." All the men had puzzled looks on their faces, Andrew walked and jumped on the table, landing on his feet. "Where...Are...The other...Scraps?" Andrew asked in a demanding tone then looked at every single guy. "No one knows huh? Alrighty then." He shot two times towards the ceiling then shot one man in the heart. "Don't even think about it." Andrew said as he hopped down from the table and looked towards Tabitha.

"You guys are pathetic. Are you really going to risk your lives?" He asked them, everyone was still silent. Andrew was now getting furious and fed up with these scumbags. "Ugh! You guys are really pissing me off now!" He said as he shot two more of the men. "And then there were three." He said as he moved his head for Tabitha to fall back and leave the room. Andrew put his pistols away then grabbed a chair and sat down. "Do you guys know where the other Scraps are?" The men shook their heads no as Andrew hit the table with his fist then got up. "Thanks." He left the room and nodded towards Tabitha. "Where to now?" As he walked, he took a hold of Tabby's hand then crouched her down along with him as an explosion was heard. "That's for not giving us answers..." He spat then got up and continued walking. "Assholes." He mumbled under his breath.
