"What kind of world would we be living in, if once a day it was possible for us to Teleport anywhere and be everywhere? most would think it would be paradise, life would be so much easier, and all of their problems would just go away. no more taking the bus to work, no more wishing to go to Disney Land and never being able to, no more wasting time. but have they ever considered the chaos? the crime?"

In 1998, physicists successfully teleported a photon, a particle of energy that carries light.
In both 2002 and 2006, researchers successfully teleported a laser beam.
In 2021, an apple, was the first physical object to successfully teleport to a different container.
In 2036, Nerock incorporation was established in Winnipeg, Canada. a major research facility for teleportation.
In 2054, Isaac Goldman, was successfully teleported across the city, however suffered from terminal illness, and passed away 3 weeks later.
In 2060, the Terminal illness was given the name "AS (Atomic Structure) Malfunction".
In 2073, Nerock inc began developing the LDT-12 virus, in hope to avoid the AS Malfunction.
In 2075, the Virus was tested on Elephants only to mark a success, the Elephants were teleported with no ASMs.
In 2078, Nerock inc and this new technology were sold to the united states. Thus a second facility was built in the US.
Countries around the world were afraid of such technology.

In 2079, Atomic bomb hit the Nerock Inc facility, which caused the Nerock Disaster, the LDT-12 virus to spread and infect everyone in the range of three million km, and within a month, the whole world.

with teleportation abilities granted to everyone, world war three broke loose

By 2112 the war has faded away as majority of the world was lost to chaos and darkness, there were no longer countries only one government which was called the Xenon.

Terms:
Teleport - A phenomenon that transports atoms across space and distance instantly.
Nerock inc - A Major research facility, where they experiment and research The phenomenon called Teleport. The founder is Adam Gill.
AS Malfunction - Upon being teleported, your Atomic Structure will break and once Transported it will form a replica of yourself, and that replica will suffer a Malfunction in the Atomic Structure.
LDT-12 - it's a Virus that will stick to your Atoms and "Reinforce" them, making it possible to create a stronger replica. it was developed by Nerock Inc.
WW3 - the war broke because countries around the world didn't agree with such technology to be held by the united states.
Nerock Incident - The Nercok Facility blew up and caused the LTD-12 virus to spread around the world and infecting all living vreatures across the world.
Xenon - The new government, of the whole world.

The New world.
so now that you know what happened, let me tell you a bit more about the Nerock Disaster, and the LDT-12.
over the years, the Virus grew inside the people, and gave them one special ability - Teleportation once a day. The individual has to have seen the place he want's to teleport to, whether it's a picture or in real life, and can only teleport once. The Individual's Ability to teleport will renew itself every time the Individual has a full 8 hour sleep, therefore if one stays up all night, he will not be able to teleport the next day. also all objects including living things touching the individual will be teleported with him. the science behind this is a mystery, because during the war most medical technology was lost, and therefore the human race had to start a new.

Xenon
The new government brought new laws. with new technologies being created, every living being will now have a chip inserted into their brain at birth, that way, Xenon people will always know where you are, no matter where you teleport to. also, they have the ability to set off a little spike from your chip which will kill you instantly, just by one click on the government's computers. therefore in Prisons, the spike will set off automatically if one leaves the Prison. The new government is corrupt and causes a big gap between the very poor fighting for their life every day, and the higher class enjoying their luxuries.

Xenon Chip
It is inserted deep inside one's brain so the individual will never be able to get it out by himself. The chip has several features, it will show your location at all times on the government's computers. Xenon can set limits to where you can go, if you cross those limits, another feature in the chip will instantly kill you. the chip can measure your blood levels and your health, that feature was added so Xenon will always know when a woman is pregnant, so they can prepare a new chip for the new born.

Organisms
The LDT-12 Virus has infected every living thing in the world. however it affected them all in different ways. Plants are just plants, their Atomic Structure is fragile enough as it id, teleportation wouldn't be possible even if they had a mind of their own. and animals, well they weren't never really aware of the change they had, other then how intense their senses became. Dogs for example have the ability to smell the Atomic Transportation that happens during Teleport, if someone teleports to the other side of the world, the dog would be able to follow them just from the smell. the dog doesn't have to know the place or have seen it, the smell is all it needs.

Xenon Tamers
people who work for the government to train their animals, they teach the dogs of their abilities to use them as hunting dogs. why would Xenon need those dog's with their computer system showing them where every person is located at? because Xenon is aware of the Chip-less, after Madison Hatter (will Introduce her below).

Chip-less
People who do not have a chip inserted inside of their brain. these are very few because it is basically impossible to hide your child from Xenon. they have computers that follow every step of your health and can determine when you are giving birth, therefore they will be where you are at on your child's birth and will insert the chip, and you can do nothing about it. however it happened that the computer system shut down for 4 hours by a group of hackers calling themselves Anonymous. during those 4 hours the twins Madison Hatter and Elisa Hatter were born, with the lack of medical technology in the world, Xenon could never have known these were suppose to be twins, therefore Madison was kept a secret, taken far away where she will not be found, and Elisa was the only one who had a Chip inserted into her brain.

Paid Travelers
people have to find a way to survive in this world and get food to feed their family, having the ability to teleport and take people with you might come in handy as a career. they simply use their daily ticket to teleport, and take someone with them for a certain price, (Information, food, or simply money). people would hire the paid travelers if they have to teleport somewhere and teleport back at the same day.

The mad Hatter Device
This Device is a big part of the plot. grown up Madison Hatter researched the phenomenons of the LDT-12 Effects, in secret hiding from Xenon. however Xenon had found her eventually and killed her. but before her death, Madison delivered a letter to Sophia Boise, trusting her to continue her research and tells her of the Mad hatter Device, in which she had successfully tested to have improved the Atomic Structure of an individual and boosting its grip of Atoms, therefore enables a person to have unlimited teleportation, but couldn't include the whereabouts of the device, in case Xenon got a hold of this letter.

-THE RESISTANCE -
The resistance has existed as long as Xenon did, they are the people in the shadows who help those in need. however some look at them as terrorists, but some look at them as heroes. they are mostly people who specialize in some combat technique and some just know a lot about the Nerock/Xenon technology. the most valuable to the resistance are the Chip-less, and there are many few unfortunately. Sophia, the current leader of the Resistance is doing her best to recruit new members to the resistance who will help her bring the Xenon down.

The Role Play will start on the first official meeting of the resistance since Sophia became the new leader, located under the newly built bridge in mexico. Intro:

Sophia didn't quite know what woke her up, but her eyes flew open. she looked over to her Alarm clock to see it was only 5:13 in the morning. With an irritated groan, she rolled onto her stomach and attempted to fall back asleep, but no such luck. she was probably too nervous she thought to herself, today was the big day. It was only three weeks ago that Sophia was asked to lead the Resistance after Joseph's death, and today the resistance agreed to meet up for the first time, under the newly built bridge in Mexico. she wrote down a speech and had memorized every word of it, she can't possibly make a mistake, yet she can't shake the sticky feeling of failure off of her. she just can't mess up, people are counting on her. Sophia was sleeping in an abandoned hotel in Paris she was convinced no one knows about, well no one other then Xenon. she'd always teleport there at the end of the day to have a good sleep, for some reason Paris was always quiet, and was a perfect resting place, even the birds thought so as they always appeared out of nowhere and rested on the trees. "good you're awake" suddenly said Blake standing on the other side of Sophia's bed, "What the hell?" Sophia blurt out startled "How'd you find me?" said as she noticed the little creature laying on Blake's shoulders "of course" she sighed out, "Chubs is getting better at atomic tracking" Blake laughed as the cat was playing with his tail, "You had a cat track my atomic transportation? seriously?" Sophia said irritated as she was glaring at the cat, "oh, calm down Sophie" said Blake as he reached into his backpack "I have something for you" he said before he pulled out a silver necklace with a pendulum that looks like the Eiffel Tower, "what is this?" Sophia was confused as she sat up and grabbed the necklace "it's Joseph's necklace" she said, "I wan't you to have it, I'm glad they agreed with me about you" said Blake as he sat by her. Joseph was Blake's father, but also like a father to Sophia. He was diagnosed with AS malfunction the past year, it was all so surprising and they all knew he didn't have much time to live. when Joseph died, the resistance offered his place to Blake, however he was convinced Sophia was better suited for it, and demanded they make her the new leader. Tears began rolling down Sophia's cheeks as her and Blake glared at the necklace "we won't let you down, Joseph" she whispered under her breath, as she had Blake help her put the necklace on.

Future RP rules:
-Must include location before writing. just have for example "Location: Mexico Bridge" in the end of your role playing
-I can't control your character's action, however I can push memories and feelings and sensations to your character (I will be fair and leave all the freedom you need), when I do that I will put it in green.

EX: You hear a door shut, yet no one else heard it.

this will rarely happen, but might be necessary for the story line.

My name is Joseph Russell. Most people call me Hunter for my protection fewer yet call me Joe or J.R. but only those who often trade with me. I was born in Houston Texas into a very rich family. My father was one of the higher ups that work for Xennon, it was his job to ensure that every child has a chip implanted and that when any new software is out that it gets pushed out to the chips. Now, I am 34, 5'8" tall with shoulder length brown hair and a go tee and hazel colored eyes that chanes color according to my mood. I have a slender frame and weigh around 134 lbs and I am a very skilled hunter, as well as a member of the resistance. I wasn’t always a hunter, but because of my past I was sort of forced to learn how to hunt or die at a young age….again

When I was 7 years old I was struck by lightning rendering my chip destroyed and along with that, according to the Xennon records, I am dead. Because my mother wanted to protect me and before I was forced to have another chip implanted, my mom sent me away into the country. She found a couple who barely could take care of themselves and left me there. Growing up in the country and poor I was forced to hunt for food and clothing in order to survive. On one of my early hunting trips I cam across a Wolf cub who seem to be alone. I brought him home and took care of him. As the time went on Wolf and I became an unstoppable hunting team, able to hunt enough food too take care of us and my adopted family. After they died I begin to live more in the wilderness away from people so that my secret would not be discovered. I hate the fact that we have to have chips and I hate to teleport even more, but on more than one occasion teleporting has saved Wolf and I. We had learned how to teleport more than once in an 8 hour period when Wolf teleported to our prey taking me with him by mistake, after the hunt I had teleported us and our latest catch to our cave where we prepared it to take for trade.

Being "dead" I had to secretly trade with the other poor just so I could have what was necessary to survive. But in all honesty I did it more for helping them out. Being that I can freely move about with out being tracked by the Xennons or their Tamers and thanks to the Nerock incident I've become an expert with the bow, and moving silently as I track my prey. I have also learned to trust my instincts and senses as I was hunted by big game predators such as wolf packs and mountain cats. But this is thanks to Madison Hatter. She and I had met in a city where I was trading meat and furs for supplies. I was 24 at the time and we started to talk. I spent a lot of time in town with her more then I would have with anyone. She used to tell me about some kind of project she was working on but to protect me didn’t say anything about what it was. We were together for 10 yrs when she disappeared. I later found out what happened.

I had been surviving for years fighting for my life when I was approached by a beautiful woman on one of my trades about joining the resistance. Something about using my skills to fight for others who can't fight for themselves. Honestly, this appealed to me on many levels as most of my trades often help the person I'm trading with more than myself. The other level was to help put a stop to the Xennons

My name is Anu Laine Sepp. I have no nicknames, except my mother used to call me "little one," but I don't really think that counts. Here, in the resistance, I go by Orphan Annie, or just Orphan. My birthday rolled around in December and I'm now officially 22.

I like snow and the cold. I have a soft spot for rustic landscape, old poetry, and my country's heritage. I abhor anywhere the temperature is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sandy beaches. I believe my personality is rough but caring. At times I'm very self absorbed and a bit of a know it all. I'm interested in science and learning new things. Though I currently live in Canada, close to Xenon Parliament with my family once again, it wasn't always that way.

I was born in Narva, Estonia. My true parents were killed during some turmoil there. Russia invading and then getting kicked out of my country over and over throughout history had a way of splitting up families, and killing off the parents of young children. I was a barely a child at the time, almost two, and was the chosen babe to be taken into the Sepp household. Which was perhaps a mistake on their part, I had no chip. It must have been a mistake in the orphanage, or maybe it was my actual parents going against the government, whichever it was, I was introduced to my new family with a fake chip in my brain. My new father, Toomas Sepp, has a good amount of power in the Xenon government because of his involvement in the development of Nerock technology. He had no interest in me. I was entirely my mother's, Victoria's, plaything. She loved me as much as she could. Gave me a name. Gave me everything I ever wanted. Raising me to be a spoiled, rich brat. I enjoyed bossing other's around, eating whatever I wanted, getting whatever I fancied.

My attitude changed when I was accidentally left behind on an outing. I ended up wandering the streets and into the slums. Everything I had on me was stolen: my coat, my money, and even my shoes. My hands chilled and the poor looking on at me like rich scum, throwing rotting food and curses at me every where I went. I curled up on a stoop, hiding, until I was found by kind people who took me in even though they couldn't afford it. After seeing the suffering in my city, and how different I lived compared to these kind, wonderful people that could barely help themselves, I returned to my mansion a changed girl.

After, my family moved to Canada to be closer to parliament, where as I grew throughout my teenage years and rebelled against my parent's will, discussions of a government marriage and thousands of fancy parties until finally I discovered my adoption. After knowing, I teleported around the world, either on my own or hitching a ride from paid travelers. After several years of traveling, I heard rumors of a resistance going against Xenon. At the time, I truly was just a teenage rebel, 18, finally an adult, and going totally against my parents. Now, though I don't agree with my half-ass angst-y teen motives, I believe I made the right decision. I went underground for the time, looking for them, using the resources I had. They must have caught on to my poking and prodding because I didn't find them, they found me. I was introduced to the resistance and after, I moved back to Xenon.

Now I'm an insider in one the main government households. I attend meetings, and pretend like I will follow my father's footsteps in science and technology. I have information and I plan to share it.

- and what format do you want it to be playing in? I mean, do you want to have every character's story independently?
by that I mean. instead of continuing the previous post, you write your own story but include the events that happen in other's posts.

For me it's third person and a combination of both. The way I RP, I go back a bit and cover what my character is thinking/feeling as events in another post are happening and then build on top of that. Not sure if that falls under any category, but I'm willing to adapt to any style we select. As admin of the RP, you can decide if need be.

I understand where I start, however I'm interested how this message was communicated to meet at this location to help build my back story before arriving at the bridge.

and you should have known about the meeting since the moment you got recruited. it was agreed on even before Joseph's death. it was planned long ago and carefully to stay secretive.
