Us vs. Them OOC

Us:

We are 'Specials'. People who have the Change Ability ever since the Great Change happened. We are constantly being hunted by people we call 'Them'.

Them:

They are humanoid Lab Creatures, created to destroy anyone who is discovered to have a Change Ability. If the Change Ability is great, They capture Us and take our Ability away and then kill Us. And the scary thing is, they take the stolen Ability and implant it into one of their own....

The aliens are the creators over these 'LCs.' They work tand give commands hrough telepathy and pain. No LC has actually ever seen that which has created them, only figures and silhouettes.

Great Change:

Around 2012, the end of the world happened. The world was subject to earthquakes, hurricanes and other catastrophic events. Only few survived. Then, the perpetrators revealed themselves. They were aliens, taking over our world for experimentation purposes. They sent a wave frequency that was suppose to put the remainder of humans to sleep, but it was a proto-type and backfired. The process was painful as the frequency went all over the world, but we adapted massively, changing our very genetic code, giving us these powers of superheros. They were called Change Abilitys.

Plot:

In Japan: A few years later, We still don't know why the mutation gave us the talents we have. But we've created cults of 'specials', trying to take back what was stolen from us. Sometimes we find lost people not taken or killed yet. Then sometimes we even find other cults all over Japan.

It's a massive process, and we're losing numbers every day. But, I believe that we'll be able to end the war one day. And have our world back.

Name: Sarah

Age: 15

Appearance: he stands at about a 5'3. She has short, jet-black hair. Has green and red eyes. The green is normal while the red eye has a snake-pupil slit. She wears a tattered black cloak with a long, tattered black scarf. When she has the hood up, you can't see her face. Wears a gray shirt, and black, baggy sweats. On her wrist is a burn shaped like a quarter moon, the sign of their Cult.

Personality: Sarah is very pensive. She only speaks when she has to. Haze, her other personality, is much different....

History: Sarah has a twin sister, Lily. They managed to survive the apocalypses together. They started the Quarter-Moon Cult together and became the masters over it. Sarah and Lily are almost always together, either linked at the elbows or holding hands, connected together in a Mind Link.

Recent events created Sarah's alter ego, which she has named Haze. Sarah is still in a struggle to keep control of her own body, but Haze is slowly winning....


Sarah's Change Ability: Telekinesis (can move any object)

* This is your traditional telekinesis.

* She also has gained the ability to control, manipulate, generate and absorb light particles.

Weakness:

* Lifting smaller things is a lot easier. The heavier and longer she holds things, the more fatigue she has. There is a longer waiting period when she can use her ability when her mind is tired.

* Her other weakness is that she becomes paralyzed by pain if a high-pitched frequency is directed at her. like, REALLY high.

Haze's Change Ability: Higher form of telekinesis.

* Uses more ruthless forms of telekinesis (ex: crushing heads, etc.)

* Psionic blast:
Ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness or vegetative state after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind. The pain doesn't fade for a time of two posts.

* Can create or manipulate darkness by mentally accessing a dimension of dark energy.

Weakness:

* Same as Sarah, the greater the force, the more stressed Haze gets.

* There is a space where Haze can't manipulate anything after either she opens the dimension of dark energy or putting an enemy's entire body into a sense of overwhelming pain and agony.

Other: Green eyes means Sarah's in complete control of her body. Red eyes means Haze is dominant is Sarah's body, having total control. Red and green means that they're neck to neck.

With red and green eyes, Sarah/Haze can use both styles of telekinesis and power.

Name: Lily

Age: 15

Appearance: She has pale skin, and slightly rosy cheeks. Her face is narrow and slim, as well as her arms and hands. One could almost call her anorexic, but it's really just her high metabolism. Her hair is silver/white with a sheen of ashen gray. She stands at a 5'3, just a fraction shorter than her sister. Her clothing is often accompanied by a full-length cloak.

Personality: They call her the heart of the Quarter Moon. Lily has an un-dieing, never-ending capacity for love. She is the entity of kindness, and the goddess of constructive judgment. She would do anything in her power to help the lesser or mis-fortunate soul. But even though she as endless amounts of charity in her un-tapped heart, she's quite gullible, even with the ability to read a person's every thought. It's often the case that she gives too many benefits of the doubt. And, as in the case of Blaze, it back-fired awfully.

History:Lily has a twin sister, Sarah. They managed to survive the apocalypses together. They started the Quarter-Moon Cult together and became the masters over it. Sarah and Lily are almost always together, either linked at the elbows or holding hands, connected together in a Mind Link.

Change Ability: Telepathy (can read thoughts and attack other minds) when target is attacked, a powerful, piercing high-pitched sound shatters it's mind, causing the target pain.))

Weakness: It takes energy to read, control, and attack other minds. Lily can only control and attack minds for so long. also, if a really low pitch sound is directed at her, she'll become paralyzed by pain.

Other: she always has a hand on Sarah's shoulder or something to easily keep their mind-communication together.

Name: Dan Maximilliam

Age:20

Race:Europeen

Appearance: wears a grey shirt and black pants, but also a long jacket that covers his entire body when he wears it. He has a scar on his arm,
when he escaped from Them (because its possible, right?)

Personality: Talks when he can, but can be quiet as a mouse when the need comes. He is a loner, but likes to have company

History: He escaped Them back where Europe used to be, and carries the scar. He has traveled for a long time to arrive where he is now.

Change Ability: He has the ability to manipulate fire, and therefore most things in the destroyed world.

Weakness: When he uses his ability, it drains on his mental mind, and can become unconcess if he drains himself to much.

Other: He is paranoid to new people, but when he knows their the right kind, he slipps right in.

Age: 16
Race: American
Appearance:
Personality: A lot tougher than she looks. She tricks people into thinking she's sweet and then stabs them in the back. She isn't very trusting. Hope is also very sneaky and almost floats when she walks, not making a sound.
History: She was born in America and used to be the sweet girl she now just pretends to be. Her family and her fled to Japan but they were killed by a massive earthquake. She doesn't belong to a cult.
Change Ability: Controls air, this is part of the reason why she seems to float instead of walk.
Weakness: She can sometimes lose control of her power and cause disasters or hurt someone she didn't mean to hurt.
Other: Hope is looking for her younger sister Grace who was 7 when the earthquake happened. Hope thinks Grace may have been captured by Them. (<- Is that OK?)

ellemazingcal: ooooh, i love your OOC. let me get this right, Hope is wandering about Japan. She's also Nomadic. And Hope's sister is probably undergoing tests on whatever Change Ability she had. And They've either killed her and taken her Ability or are in the process to.

Oh, and about your Air controlling. How exactly will you manipulate it? do you get tired after using it's power for so long?

Well, I belice he can use it mostly from his hand, but also over his body, but to minor meens, like walking thorugh flames and such.
He can manipulate almost everthing that has a connection with fire, and i hope he can use it in a way to protect his body from it. I dont want to so to professional with it...

Lol thanks. And she manipulates it with her hands, like moving them in the direction she wants the air to blow and uses her mind to control the force of the air. Also, yes I ment to put she gets tired if she uses it to strongly for to long, that's why she can lose control. She gets so tired, it's hard to control.
