    He didn't even get an infraction for that, I don't think. I saw that the thread was locked but he still remained un-banned for some hours after. Still not sure what his most recent ban was about but I don't think it was that.

    Ehhhh, he seems to think that was the cause as well. I don't know of anything else he did recently that would warrant it. Seeing as it's possible to report a locked thread, he might have gotten infraction points after the close anyway. Dunno.
