I haven't ever searched my name unless I was looking for a specific post I made. I might start doing that just to see what comes up.

It's actually pretty good for keeping tabs on just about anything and everything that involves you. Even if all you find is a comment about your avatar, that comment could've been made in a shitstorm thread that you completely missed because you were asleep, and your name searching at least let you find it and read it.
