    Hola a todos!

    Hello, everyone!

I'm new here (duh!) though I'm not new to roleplaying. I've been playing on and off for years now, so I hope I can get used quickly to how things are done here. I see there are several "levels" of roleplaying strictness, so I'm guessing it won't be too hard.

So what else to say about me? I'm a computer scientist (such a mouthful, but it's true!), addicted to anime, manga, videogames and airsoft. I hope I can get along with you all and have a great time here!

Oh, and my first language is spanish, picked up english in high school.

    Any other questions are welcome!

Hi! Welcome to the Guild. Hope to see you around the forums!

You value knowledge, logic, and deceit. You love to pursue wisdom but also to manipulate and deceive. At your best, you are brilliant and progressive. At your worst, you are treacherous and cold. Your symbol is a water droplet. Your enemies are green and red. (I can't post more than one pic..)

    Computer... scientist?

You mean like electro-mechanical engineer, solid-state electrician, or IT-services?

No point dumbing it down for us.

    Hey there!

**** WARNING, TECHNICAL LANGUAGE AHEAD! STOP READING IF EASILY BORED BY COMPUTER THINGS! ****

I mean like informatics researcher, finding ways to break into different kinds of wireless networks (worked in wifi, bluetooth and cellular, specifically), developing new routing, auto-configuration and security protocols for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks, among other things.

I've dabbled in that, yes. Working in academia has more perks, though, one of which is you can (mostly) set your own hours. Pay can be a little sucky sometimes, though, specially when the government thinks your ideas aren't worth a grant.
