Heros vs Legends (Open)
Considering the growning popularity in this casual roleplay I have finally decided to add an actual description to this RP... "HOORAY!!!"
For time and memoriam humanity has had heroes to stand up against the darkness that tried to plague the world and bring it into shadow. This has been proven over the course of history and through different planes of reality. Some have been good standing for justice and truth and sometimes the darkness has been fought with evil in order to ensure the preservation of themselves but losing part of their humanity.
Taking many forms these heroes who passed the trials in their original life are brought to a place where heroes from different regions, transcending time and different plains of reality in order to combat the darkness and secure their place as legends among their respective peoples.
However the Darkness is always present and has now come up with a new plan to bring upon the ever lasting shadow on every world, realm, and race. THey do not represent good or evil just a force that doesn't want to stop. As they prepare for the new war amongst the forces of good and evil one can only guess to the carnage to come now. They prepare to launch preemptive strike on the heroes that threaten their plans.
--------
A quiet night for all who rested in this sleepy town in the valley of Kingston. For the most part it has been a small fishing and mining village. The people for the most part were good people with their own plans, dreams, and ambitions, though very few obtained what they really want. Contented with this peaceful life they continue on. Time for them was nothing there has never been a rush or push to keep up with the rest of the world, and why would they? They had everything they could need.
A man sat up on the pier looking across the river and the fog rolling in from the hills around him. "Hmm it is coming in more than it should be this night." He thought out aloud and he snapped his fingers and a small fire came on in his hand, with the other he pulled out his pipe. He walked back down from the end of the pier to the dock where he would stay for the rest of night with those who were also on the watch.
In the water below something moved swift as the shadows cast by the silver moonlight. It moved through underneath the pier not even making a sound as it breached the surface.
The man walked into room where he saw the rest of his co-workers all performing their own things or playing cards with each other. Five in all three men and two women. "The fog is rolling pretty thick tonight." The man said to others "We won't be able to see anything coming tonight, however it is good thing that nothing is schedule."

Khielan sighed, she had been in this place... This... This land of red and emptyness, for so much time she couldn't even begin to count. Strangely enough, she didn't ever feel hungry or thirsty. She only felt bored, and helpless not knowing when she'd be out. That's until after walking some more, she found a house. She said something in her language, putting on a surprised expression as she hastily made her way to the front door, knocking. Then she waited, or what felt like an eternity, then when she went to knock on the door again, it swung open violently, which startled Khielan and made her squeak like a tiny animal, making her blush in self-consciousness.
She shrugged off the little scare and walked into the house, carrying her trusty long spear and round golden metal shield, and her short spears strapped to her waist, much like an sword. Her long cape, which was actually the pelt of a beige colored huge animal, fluttered in an unexistant wind as she entered the house.
She wasn't wearing what could be called modest by today's standards, seeing that she was sporting a pair of knee-high gold-coloured greaves, tight form fitting leather panties and a short skirt made by leather and decorated with pieces of what looked like fur of the animal her cape was made of. OF course, she had a very decorated bracier covering her breasts and keeping them in place, along with some shoulderpads where the cape was attached to, but not much more.
She walked through the house, admiring the strange architecture until she felt something hit the back of her head really hard, making her black out instantly.
Next thing she knew, she was waking up in a... Forest? She was stretched out on the floor and she had a very bad headache. Her long dark brown hair covered her face before she brushed it away with a groan. Where was she?
"H-Hello..?" She called out, then squeaked as she realized that wasn't her language. "Why... WHY AM I SPEAKING IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE?" She yelled at herself.

The men and women around there table went along their business though the man had felt the presence of something outside. "I am going to step back out for a minute guys." He said. The people around him jeered as he exited the door. Taking another puff of his pipe he walked down the pier. All the while the thing that was in the water saw through the cracks through the pier. He felt strange as though something was off. He looked up to the moon an eclipse was beginning. "Hmm this going to be great." At the end of the pier he looked out to the water as the fog was near the doorstep of the town.
Suddenly the wooden planks of the pier burst open behind him. The man was caught off guard, surprised and fearful for what was behind him. He saw what was behind him it the reddening light glowed on its scales its teeth were died the color of the black abyss of hell. It jumped towards the man, he ducked out of its leap barely and lost his pipe. Stunned momentarily he jumped over the hole and ran towards the small dock house. "Sound the alarm we got trouble, grab your weapons and prepare for an attack." He ran toward the step of the dock house "Hurry it up."
The group inside was scrambling inside worrying what was out there. "What is he saying."
"We're under attack?!?! From what?!?!"
"Sound the alarm." Another said as he pointed in the direction of ladder to the tower.
The door burst open with the rest of the men in the dockhouse, while was looking out into the water the fog began to fully engulf the docks and was making its way into the town. The man snapped his fingers and fire began to form in his hands.
"What is going on" said the women
"I don't know all I saw that it was scaly and try to take a swing at me. And it took my pipe." The man replied. The water began to show rippling again and the beast leap out of the water tackling the older man. He screamed as tried to defend himself. The three others hesistated fearing to hit their friend all the while he being teared to shreds. The man stood in fear and tremble, but he felt something come over him and tossed his fire right at the creatures back and knocking it off his friend and on the edge of the water. "Hurry up and sound the alarm." He yelled as he threw his second fire at the beast knocking back into the river. Soon after the bells on the tower ringed. It could be heard throughout the valley, though it would more than likely be for worse.

Khielan was about to yell at herself for speaking in another language some more before she heard a sound- One that she hadn't ever heard before, but that made her uneasy-
Standing up quickly, she made sure she had her weapons and armor on the right place before running towards the source of the sound.

The whole town began to light up from the sound of the bells small rumbles of chatter in houses while some rushed to put on what they needed to defend the town. The man and the two others with him looked at their friend using the light from the man's flame to show the extent of his injuries. He was gasping for air as blood began to fill up his lungs. The man looked at the woman. "Can you heal him in anyway to stop the bleeding" he asked her seeing the nervousness with her eyes. She nodded barely and was coming out of shock. The two stood up and prepared for the beast next attack.
The man scanned in front him barely making out the waters edge now. "Damn I cannot see anything in front of me." He said as the palms of his hand began to form more fire.
There was no sound when the creature slipped out the water. It was crawling slowly circling its prey. Through its eyes it could see, feel, and hear their hearts as they raced from its previous attack. It formed a grin as slipped behind the pair. The creature knew however if he wanted to have his fill before others could he must kill the rest now. In a moment of impatience it snapped a small plank giving away its position.
The pair turned around after hearing the noise and attacked in the general direction where the creature was the fire hit its legs and hand and began to yelp in pain as the other hit it with a knife to back. The two cheered as they managed to make their mark. The creature before them was stunned and they both charged at it. Throwing fire and knives at it further impeding its movement. Yelped louder as the town began to kill it and when it was down the two were covered in the blood of the creature. They let out a sigh of relief, but only a short lived one as they heard the roar of the creature they just killed. Fear began to take hold of him as the realized that there were out there. They could hear the water splash and crashing of hundreds of limbs break the water. The two ran for their friend to meet with the rest of the townsfolk who were scared of the noises that they just heard.

After a minute, Khielan reched the town, catching stares of people due to her attire, but she was used to them. Many males back home stared at her like that, that was one of the reasons she was a member of that old army, because of her beauty. She hastily looked around, deciding to sling her long spear over her back and grab a short one, since she had the feeling there'd be lots of fighting involved. After a while of searching, she noticed two blood-covered men running and asked them loudly "What's happening?!" She wanted to fight, she wanted to have her vengeance from the darkness that took her away from her home, she wanted to see it and all its followers die.

The man heard the strange tongue that was being yelled throughout the crowd however he was worried about more important things. Quickly he found the captain of the guard for the town and explained the situation to him. "All combat guardsman protect the town the rest escort the people to the mine shafts into the mountain and take them---" The Captain of the guard exclaimed.
Before he could finish he was attacked by one of the creatures and was killed instantly. The sudden loss of their leader threw the crowd into disarray and more began to strike the rest of the guard. Panic gripped everyone what was this madness, what caused them to be attack by these creatures. Some followed the captain's orders but others ran off indifferent directions. The man looked at crowd and the tried to find as many guardsmen as he could saving one by throwing off one of the creatures. Filled with fear and desperation the man let go of his restrictions. His arms engulfed in flame and he attacked the creatures saving as many people as possible. Soon the guardsmen began to rally behind this one ordinary man. "Rally to me. Force them back and send them back to the water." he said as he saw the woman who was slaughtering the creatures that came before her. "Everyone protect the people. You two help out the woman. Whoever she is, she is helping us." The man charged into the horde that amassed before them the flames around him began to burn so hot that he managed to cut through the creatures melting their scales together and screamed in agony. The moon began its full eclipse and the moon became as red as blood.

Khielan growled at one of the creatures that had gotten close enough to her to scratch her arm, then inmediately hit its face with an elbow and impaled its heart with her spear, then she kept fighting, her shield raised in front of her in some sort of wall while she impaled any creature unlucky enough to bash against it from above the shield with a raised spear. "Hah! How does the cold metal feel, you demon spawns?" She says as she keeps on fighting, then notices a couple of the other humans attempt to protect her and she asks them while still killed the creatures attempting to slaughter the townspeople, in her native tongue "What's happening? Is the darkness here?"

A creature the man was facing off got in too close for comfort. The two were wrestling down to the floor both struggling to have an edge on the other but the creature did not realize the pain it was feeling when it touched the man's arms. Melting away and in a last act of desperation the creature used its hind legs and knocked the man into the air. He yelled to all those that he would have landed on. Rolling on the ground for a few feet to the feet of the woman in the outlandish clothing. "ugh... Never doing that again." he said as he got up in front of her and glanced at her giving her a respective nod. He charged head on into them burning enough to sear into them without any effort. The rest of the guard had safely moved the of the people into the caves and were starting to return.
"Phalanx form up round up what is left of them! Kill them all!" He barked raising his arm up to signify their offensive.

Groaning she stared at the man. Why was no one answering her questions? She looked around and noticed the formation, and quickly joined it, ignoring the fact she was taller than most of the men in it. "Wow, you males are so short. I don't think I'd be comfortable with any one of you as a mate." She said in her tongue, no one understanding her yet again as she rolls her eyes, focusing on the enemy and keeping up her defense.
She knew what those creatures were. They often worked for the darkness thousands of years ago, slaughtering innocents, pillaging villages, kidnapping children. They deserved to die, just like everything working for the darkness deserved to die.
