Never flown, but drove straight from MN to New Orleans on a coach bus, and I imagine that's sorta like a plane except without the flying part.

Coach buses are fun too. Surrounded by friends, driving straight through the night and sleeping in piles in the aisle because the darned seats only recline six inches.
