The Cosmic Horror found its way into this world through a small hole in reality that formed for only a second. It was a fluke that lead to it getting into the world, but it took advantage all the same. The horror took up residence somewhere in New York City and began spreading its disease to the population. The people started to come down with a strange disease that seemed similar to the cold that progressed to a Flu. However the mass spread of the disease and the major effect it had lead to the officials having to issue quarantine of the city. Now New York is surrounded by military and C.D.C. trying to figure out what was wrong with the city. If they enter the city they will find the city to be like a ghost town, but if they checked a building they will notice sick people inside.

Mr. Yin and Mr. Yang were the first to arrive on scene, just like always. They appeared within the CDC line and began walking towards Times Square, which they then radiod as the rendezvous point for the team. They were informed that there would be mini-horrors that would come after them, so Mr. Yang declared, "Mini-horrors and the Yin-Yang team." makng it so that the mini-horrors couldn't reach them. They had also been informed that there would potentially be parasites of an evil kind, so Mr. Yang also said, "Evil parasites and the Yin-Yang team." to make it slightly easier on themselves. They began walking towards Times Square at a leisurely pace.
    ---
The Hydromancer appeared within the CDC perimeter and uncorcked his flask, knowing he would need the water for this one. He knelt to the ground and placed his palm flat against the asphalt. He muttered the word "heat" and there was a sudden rumbling in the ground as all the water in the underground system and pipes turned to steam and began building pressure. This pressure burst the pipes and steam billowed out from manholes, drainoffs, crackss in the ground, and inside buildings. This steam created a thick cover for him and any others who would be near. Due to the limitations of his powers, only pipes and water sources within 200 feet from him were bursting. He recieved the radio call saying to rendezvous in Times Square, so he began walking towards there. While walking, he flicked his wrist and two water clones appeared next to him. These clones looked and acted exactly like he would, but were not as powerful watermancers as the original was. They rotated so that even if you were watching them the entire time, you would have a hard time seeing which one was the real McCoy. They spread out so one of him was walking on each sidewalk and one of him was walking down the center of the road.

Jo'Rakha appeared within the city limits and immediately got a radio for all the agents to meet up at Times Square. Jo'Rakhaturned towards where Times Square was located and he shouted "Wuld Nah Kest!" This shot his body forward at an immense speed for quite a long distance. He gauged himself to be about halfway there, so he began charging a fireball spell in one hand and got the chain lightning spell ready in his other hand. He began lightly jogging towards Times Square.

Big Tex and Big Rodeo appeared simultaneously. They got the radio call ta rendezvous at Time Square, so they began headin' in that direction. They saw a familiar cloud of steam an' decided ta head inta it fer cover. It wasn't long 'fore they caught up ta the hydromancer that they saw durin' the dolly fight. Big Rodeo began walking backwards, but still in the direction of Time Square and lifted a couple dozen chunks of asphalt from the ground and kept them up in front of him (towards the back o' the group) as a shield. Big Tex reached inta his ammo pouch, took out six armor piercin’ rounds (Bronze bullets that taper down to a very fine needle-like point). He cocked Ol’ Betty and held her at the ready. The trio continued walking towards Time Square.

The Aeromancer appeared within the city limits, but almost immediately took to the skies, well above the building tops. He got the radio call to meet at Times Square, so he began flying over there.
    .
The Pyromancer appeared within the city limits and began sprinting towards Times Square. He used his acrobatic skills to avoid the clutter on the streets.
    .
Blade appeared in the city limits and immediately dashed to the shadows. He received the message to meet at Times Square. He dropped into the sewers, where there was virtually nothing that could detect him. He floated a few inches off the ground to make sure nothing could hear any footsteps. He was always one for dramatics.

The Candy Man appeared within the city limits and began slowly walking towards Times Square, which was where they were scheduled to meet. He had no worries about this fight.
    .
Han-Za appeared within the city limits, but in the subway tunnel. Luckily, standard C.D.C. procedure halts all public transportation, so there was no fear of getting hit by a subway. He was a master assassin and hoped to use his immense sneaking prowess to travel undetected, since the location was so balanced in his favor.

Jo'Rakha was the furthest into the city thanks to his sprint power. This put him closer to the middle of the city and also in the most danger for running so far ahead. As he wanders through the abandoned streets he would find the city to be eerily quiet. However he would hear the a moaning sound to his right from a nearby alleyway where upon close inspection he would see a homeless man slumped in a pile of news papers. The man would be mumbling no-sense and have lots of blood splattered on his chest and around his body.
    ---
The Aeromancer being in the sky would be able to see the city below with a fair bit of ease and be able to glimpse movement throughout the entire city, but all the movement would quickly disappear into the buildings.
    ---
The Pyromancer's mad dash through the city creates a lot of noise in the otherwise silent City. On his way through the city if he is sharp he will notice movement in the clutter he avoids and would suddenly find several sickly black slugs as big as his fore arm spring from debris and from under cars trying to bite down on him wherever they can.
    ---
Blade being in the sewer would encounter the first lesser horror about twice his size moving through the dark sewer with its appendages scraping against the walls scanning for anything alive. He would witness it snatch up a rat trying to dart passed it and eat it in one swift motion.
    ...
If Blade were to engage the horror an bring it harm. It would let out a high pitched wail that would alert the others of his presence.
    ---
Han-Za would encounter an off duty subway train parked at the next stop. In the train he would notice appendages sticking out of some of the windows lazily dragging across the walls. Inside he would see the body of a horror three times his size seemingly resting inside the train car with several sick people laying around it.
    ---
Anyone who isn't mentioned has yet to encounter anything strange.

Jo'Rakha noticed the homeless man's noise, but also noticed that the man wasn't going to attack. She switched her spells to Invisibility, which she double-cast, and Muffle, which she also double-cast. This made her movements soundless and made her impossible to spot. She used the opportunity to slip into the alleyways and disappear. She continued heading towards Times Square, unfettered by the homeless man who had moaned at her.
    ---
Mr. Yin and Mr. Yang continued to walk towards Times Square. They were about halfway there and around five or six streets west from where Jo'Rakha encountered the homeless man.
    ---
The Hydromancer, with his newfound buddies, continued on towards Times Square. They were about halfway there and around five or six streets east of where Jo'Rakha encountered the homeless man.

Han-Za saw the horror-infested subway car and crouched, making himself nigh-impossible to detect and slowly crept past the subway car, making sure not to alert the beings inside. He then continued on down the subway line towards Times Square Station.
    .
The Candy Man walked past some homeless man who was all bloody. He turned his head to look at it, realized that it was about to hatch, and closed his ear canals. The silence was unsettling, but the scream attacks wouldn't work now.

Pyromaniac did indeed notice the movements and was prepared for the inevitable attack. He flicked his finger, creating a spark in one of the parked cars next to him, the explosion engulfing the leeches. Since this was an indirect attack (the damage wasn't caused by him, but by the car of which, he never touched) the pain did not shoot back to him. He flicked his fingers again, exploding every remaining car down the street he was running on, eliminating the threats that he was running past. He continued running and was the first to appear in Times Square. He heated the ground so as to cause non-damaging heatwaves. Wherever these unnatural heat waves were broken (by an object going through it) he would be aware of it. This allowed him to be aware of any potential sneak-attacks.
    .
The Aeromancer arrived above Times Square before Pyromaniac got there, but remained airborne, so as to not make himself vulnerable to attack.
    .
Blade saw the horror scrounging for food and saw it eat a rat. "Hmm..." Blade thought, "You know, these aren't as scary as some of the things I've seen and these are supposed to actually inflict fear in you..." Blade suddenly disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the horror. Vampires, so long as they are in complete darkness, can use their magic to teleport short distances. Not the most useful spell in the spell tomes, but helpful in this little situation. He continued floating on, not making even the smallest of noises.
